Regular size create your own

I've become a big fan of this little downtown spot. Surprisingly very fresh and filling. Super friendly employees who are eager to help and haven't gotten my order wrong to date. Now I order online. Love all of the sauces. Only thing is it's so expensive. It's a decent sized portion and a nice light lunch but you won't have leftovers. I add a tip and it's $14 for my veggie poke bowl. But still worth it on occasion.

Soft opening in downtown tunnels on 2/14/19. They had a line before opening at 11am. Limited menu for the soft opening but same awesome flavor! Offering preset bowls with options of toppings. Will be adding create your own eventually. Bring the cilantro to this location please! I got a large bowl, and I'm not sure if it's because of the to go container but the portion seems smaller at this location than Richmond. Still very excited for my fav poke to be in walking distance for lunch!

Hawaiian Ahi Bowl

I got the Hawaiin Ahi Bowl from this place. Menu price is $9 you get a small bowl with your choice of base (I got white rice) and some salmon, onions, sesame seeds sprinkled on top. When I say SOME, I'm not using it lightly. Very basic poke that is not worth the price you pay. I tried poke at Poke Fresh Sushi & Sashimi the day before and that was much more appealing and fulfilling, not to mention more tasty than the poke bowl at Ono Poke for roughly the same price. I'd say skip this place.

While I was standing there debating on ordering, the employee behind the counter was eating. I figured he'd stop once an order was placed. As I went to order kiosk, I saw him look up toward the front, then put his hand in his mouth to remove food while still in the kitchen/service area. That completely turned me off from ordering so I left. I didn't dare risk if he'd wash his hands because why would you do that to begin with. I understand people working long shifts need to eat, but in an open kitchen environment, presentation and sanitation matter. Unfortunately, that interaction alone was enough for me not to continue with my order.

We went with the brisket egg rolls, which were fresh and hot when we got them. Sauce was a good balance with them and I really liked this item. The cowboy katsu had great flavor, but needed more sauce since our bowl quickly turned into just bland white rice that got left behind. An extra side of bbq, or more toppings overall would've helped a lot for me.

Updating my review to include a few more lunch items!…read more A friend and I stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and booked a reservation in advance. They were pretty short-staffed when I arrived - I noticed quite a few patrons lining up before a staff member helped them get their seats. We had a bit of a wait as well. The restaurant looked the same - spacious with a variety of seating options and a cute bar in the corner. Once we were seated we were excited to order! We opted to share a few items: the savory scallion waffle, the shrimp toast, and the Vietnamese beef dip. The waffle was as delicious as I remembered - the savory butter paired SO well and is such a unique taste! The shrimp toast came out next - I loved how crunchy it was and how cleanly they baked the shrimp into the toast! The candied nuts were such a nice pairing. And lastly, the beef dip. I was surprised to see a sandwich (I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting after reading the description) but I truly enjoyed the thin slices of the beef, and dipping it in the sauce was divine. The bread just soaked it up and it was so flavorful! We wanted to get dessert before we ordered, but were glad we held off after the sheer volume of food! I was pretty stuffed and still took a shrimp toast to go. All in all another delicious meal here! I'd love to come back and try more of their menu next time.

Love the interior! And definitely very cool bar area, very diner trendy…read more We went for dinner and loved the shrimp toast!! The toast is thick and still crispy while the shrimp does not overpower. Chicken was filling and super crispy as well!! They don't bread the chicken only marinate and fry so the skin was nice and thin. Definitely want to come back for brunch!
