Yellowtail Sushi

My friends and I wanted to try a new sushi place and this restaurant was suggested. We went during happy hour and we each ordered a round of drinks to start off with. Their HH menu didn't have a lot of options besides a few appetizers and small dishes. We decided to order off the regular menu instead. We were taken aback by the pricing considering the ambiance of the restaurant. Rolls averaged between $18-$22. We ended up going to our regular sushi spot down the street but the service and drinks were good. I considered the food to be too pricey for the location. We could see HEB and the construction from where we were seated.

Sushi is good but dang! Two hand rolls and rename $31 before tip It is snack size for dinner prices

Not located in Tokyo's Ginza District unfortunately, but still a fun place to come and check out if you have the cash. So it is a very good sushi restaurant but it's not cheap. If it was a little cheaper I might give it five. We like the sushi here although it's nowhere near as good as my favourite places in New York and Boston, which are by the way considerably cheaper. Still it's very impressive and I'm a fan and I'm quite sure I'll be back. I've only been here once but I will update this review upon my next trip.

Honestly it's gone down hill since the owners changed and they changed the interior and menu. I think they are going towards the more trendy type sushi now, believe me it's delicious, but it's not what I knew Ginza to be. I also think it really is over priced. I've gotten to-go 2 times and the first I had an interaction with the guy and he was super unpleasant and unfriendly. The second time I door dashed and the food was really bad, I paid like $100 for 2 people too. I probably won't be coming here again which is sad because Ginza was one of my favorite spots and the resteraunt where I first tried sushi as a little girl

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the name of the restaurant, but essentially their seafood options are spectacular. And it feels like an exclusive club because the decor and service are both very much high class and special. We tried the coconut shrimp as the appetizer and really liked it. It was lightly fried and the shrimp was cooked to perfection - not under and not over. I would highly recommend this one to start. Loved it. If you're looking for a fair-priced meal, they have lots of salad and sandwich options. I tried the salmon poke bowl and it was so delicious. The fish was extremely fresh, and all the flavors blended together really well. It was like a healthy party in my mouth. It was great decision. You wanna splurge a bit and live large like YOLO? You gotta get the crab cake. Now, how good can a crab cake be? Well, if you're paying close to $50 for one crab cake, you better believe it's gonna be freaking awesome. And alas, it was. Best crab cake I've ever had in my life, no joke. And I've tried a lot of crab cakes in my many decades of dining out. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back many times. Enjoy! Quick note on parking - plenty of parking in a huge lot shared by many businesses such as Kenny and Ziggy's. Only annoying part is several sections of the lot are designated for specific businesses, so just look for the signs and be willing to park a little bit further away towards Taco Deli and Bluestone.

I ordered the crab cake based on my yelp research and the servers recommendation. The crab cake was the best one I've ever had. The amount of crab was generous and the seasoning was outstanding. The freshness and quality was very obvious and it was served with crispy fries that was an outstanding pairing. My diagnosis: gorgeous restaurant with outstanding seafood; the crab cake is a must order!

Loved the historical nature of the restaurant and thought it might have been associated with a Christie's seafood that was in San Antonio many years ago. It was not... :( Nice place! Cool surroundings and nice tables and decor. We got here early and got a table. Nice people and good service! Food was just OK. Crab dipper appetizer was OK. Crab tasted a little old. Bread and butter were good as were the salads. My son got the Salmon which was pretty good (came with dirty rice that was alright. My wife had the whol Branzino prepared Greek style, and it was good, but not great (maybe a little overdone). Our sons neighbor recommended the "Christie's pride" and that is what I got. It was... interesting. The seafood dressing was kind of odd and a bit pungent. It was, as I said, interesting. Looking back the waiter maybe hinted to not get that, but I came in here to try it. Kind of a let down, but there was a big menu so assuming other dishes are better. The main disappointment is that prices were steep! The 3 dishes we had plus appetizer was $150 (No drinks... no dessert)! Would have been a fair price if we all thought the food was amazing. But at best it was "pretty good" Like I said/ lots going for it but no plans to return...
