0/10 scam right here. Got a call from a very nice gentlemen at 10PM at night who talked me into the move. Gave me his contact info and then went radio silent. Then more red flags popped up then an episode of hell date. The first is the name. Very catchy, yet would a serious moving company name themselves after an adult entertainment site? But I'm not one to judge ‍. Second red flag was the deposit, sent via a strange online check. I was tired, actually sleep deprived with a new baby and didn't think to check to see if it was legit. As soon as I sent it I thought to myself hmmmmmm I should check some reviews . As you can see here they are fairly terrible. So in a panic I called my guy back, texted and emailed and nothing. He totally ghosted me. He was so nice during the call telling me oh I just started watching sons of anarchy blah blah blah. Ok random show to tell me about. And I should have spoiled it as revenge saying well the main guy dies in the end so how about them apples. Anyway I finally got ahold of customer service to cancel and they said oh no problem we will refund the money once it's in our account. I was like hmmmmm don't believe that. So I raced down to the bank (keep in mind I still have a newborn baby here), and they were like woah cancel this and lock your account, which thank you very much could have messed up my house sale. So in conclusion they thankfully never moved my stuff, I got a uhaul and did it myself. Was it fun? No of course not, but it builds character. Got a call from Alex at Only Vans when we submitted our information for a move. I told him the absolute latest we needed our items was 12/28. He assured me that as long as our things were picked up by 12/23-12/24, we'd have them by then. I have never moved before, and never utilized a moving company, so I believed him. It is now January 4. We still do not have our things. The people at Only Vans have said we're still responsible for the remaining balance even though they haven't held up to the verbal agreement that their sales associate made. The company that they're actually using has said they're not sure when our things are coming. And no one is willing to provide any form of discount or reimbursement for the money we've had to fork out because we needed a place to sleep. Don't use them. I had placed a deposit with Only vans, Spoke to a guy called Tony who was actually very helpful on the phone, The deal for our house fell through so we had to move the dates, reaching costumer service took a long time and nobody would pick up the phone, after a couple days they reached out to me and told me they didnt have the availability for the those dates , my deposit was refunded compeltely but it was mailed and took a couople weeks, at the end of the day i Didnt use their services but at least they were kind enough to refund my money i guess. read more

I was told by the sale agent joe gallo that they are not a broker and they'll deliver my stuff in 7 days, they picked up my stuff on June 12th and it's now July 14th!! They had a Nigerian company DG MOVING AND STORAGE LOGISTICS pick up my stuff (he calls himself MR MIKE) but I searched up his name and phone number and his name is dinebari gbaraba and his phone goes straight to voicemail, NO CALL NO ANSWER NO TEXT BACK, he also said it'll take 7 days and it's been nearly a full month now. I told Joe gallo and he keeps telling me to just call customer service, I call customer service and Wendy always picks up, says she'll figure it out for me, NEVER DOES, NO CALL BACK, NO UPDATE ON ANYTHING. They charged me nearly $5000 at pickup and another $4800 at drop off, when they originally said there is no price change, I ordered for a full truck full of stuff just to be safe on the cubic footage, I filled up a full truck but they still charged me more. These guys ARE BROKERS THEY ARENT EVEN A MOVING COMPANY. PLEASE CHECK THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING THEM FOR A MOVE. I haven't even received my stuff yet so I don't know if there's anything even missing or damaged. If there is I'll be sure to post the reviews and contact a lawyer. This company did nothing but try to scam us. They claimed they were the actual brewing company but in reality they are just brokers. They quoted us $2000 and in reality it ended up costing us $4000. The mover showed up in an old rider truck with graffiti all over it. We were getting on the road the next day, and we had no choice. We had to pay it to get our stuff moved across the country. I don't even know if my stuff is going to show up we're just hoping and praying it shows up. We are worried they're gonna try to scam us on the other end to get more money. Now they're not returning any of my calls. I've called three times today and no callbacks. No one could tell me where anything was or when it was going to get there. The movers got to our NY location and ended up charging me 4000 dollars instead of 1800 dollars. It was supposed to be a stress free move and it was the complete opposite. My Husband had to spend a week in North Carolina with none of his belongings and one pair of clothes. The company they chose did not answer phone, and no one can help you when your stuff isn't physically with them. Rent a Uhaul and just do it on your own. Questionable, rude, untruthful, unprofessional, potential scam To begin with, my mother and I are trying to move her 4 bedroom household from one state to another. She's already out in the other state, so I have been working with movers in her old state. We were very aware that this company was a broker and not an actual mover and we understood that they would be matching us with trucks and vans who had a route that coincided with where we needed to drop off everything in the new house. We decided to move forward with this company because we needed to get our items out of the house as soon as possible and they promised a fairly reasonable quote and could get started sooner than other companies. We had a scheduled call for 06/30 where I would physically go through the house and list out the entire inventory to get the most accurate quote as possible. When our sales rep, Camron, did not respond, call, reply with a text message to let us know if he was running late or not, we started to try calling customer service. When we couldn't get through there, we tried calling other reps, we tried calling from different phone numbers. We received no information whatsoever. We were immediately put on alert, and begin to suspect that this was a scam. My mother immediately canceled the down deposit that was pending, and I called the rep one more time, got sent to voicemail yet again, and I told them that they needed to not worry about calling us, as we were going to move forward with another company. It's also important to note that my mother had tried - days before - to reach their customer service about an inquiry, and has yet to be acknowledged or contacted. The following day, 07/01, we received a text message with an excuse, saying he had a surprise visit from his daughter, and he wanted to talk to us today or the following day, 07/02. Neither myself or my mother were in a position to do so, and we expressed our frustration and dissatisfaction at the fact that he had completely ghosted us. He brushed this off and seemed irked that we couldn't just magically shift our schedule to accommodate him over the weekend. We also told Camron that we had found more competitive mover, to which he essentially said we were lying (we have found several companies who have matched this company's prices) and that we would be forced to pay the $2000 down deposit, no matter what. We have not responded as we do not see a reason to respond to somebody who refuses to take accountability or responsibility for his lack of action for a scheduled call that both of us had to miss work for, nor did we have any desire to work with this company anymore. When we stopped responding to Camron's messages, my mother started receiving texts from Joe who told us that Camron's mother was dead and he couldn't possibly have been talking to us, and he also told my mother he would show her all of the texts between me and Camron proving this, to which my mother sent a screenshot of all the texts as we have only communicated via a group chat. This experience has been horrific, slimy, uncomfortable, confusing, wildly stressful, and I cannot express how deeply I feel that no one should ever use this service *ever*. We moved from AZ to ID and paid an exorbitant amount for our contents being thrown into a storage unit, many of which were damaged. Just rent the Uhaul and pay someone you know to help move furniture and boxes. They will care more about your things and treat them better. The only positive is that we didn't have to worry about driving the truck and towing cars. read more

This is a broker which I was not aware of when booking. But what I want to say is that the carrier they used turned out to be nightmare. When I reached out to the owner Greg, he went to work for us trying to get to the bottom of the problems over and over. He responded immediately and went to work on getting a resolution. He personally stayed on it until it was resolved. If we did not have him getting involved we may have not got a resolution. They took $5,000 of supposedly total cost of moving but did not pay the movers/workers who came by to pick up my things. The movers asked for about $2500 at pick up and another $2500 before they were willing to release our goods. I have reported them to DOT and they are being investigated. The owners/scam artists are Gregory Kitzen and Joshua Gibbs but people who called are Zachary and Frederick, may be fake names. I made a total payment of about $10K and found out a quarter of our things are broken, chipped, lost and the insurance company said they did not pay for the $10K damage claim insurance they said I had covered. They lied that they are the mover but they sent an unlicensed mover on pick up. Zachary at Discount Van Lines insisted that they are the mover and not the broker. The Department of Consumer Affairs's Bureau of Household Goods and Services found out later and fined the movers they sent. read more

By far the WORST experience I have ever had with a company. I was given an estimate in the beginning with the guy telling me he just needed to know big ticket items and that boxes were included. When they called back for final inventory the only difference was I asked them if it would fit all my boxes as well on the truck they were sending and the guy told me no boxes were marked so now my estimate doubled. I was pissed. I tried canceling and the manager called selling me his bs about he is an honest guy and wants to make this move happen and that I only pay for what I put on the truck so if I put less than I pay less. I finally agreed and when the movers showed up with the paperwork from my first estimate we tried to load to meet that estimate, when the movers realized it wasn't as much as they were told they wouldn't take my things. I called only vans and Jeff the manager told me I had a new estimate and i reminded him that he told me I could load what I wanted to keep the price down. The movers left and another set came the next day. They were rough with my things and it showed in the end. When my things showed up today they were broken and smashed. And no one will return a call. Only vans is a broker and the one set of movers that showed up told us that the company was garbage which they truly are. Find yourself a reputable company who can give you a legit price. read more

If I could leave zero I would. We gave a detailed comprehensive list of our items. When the movers came, they had maybe 10% of what my list stated. Our $1900 move turned into $6300. They low ball their estimate so you sign with them, then when they come you are expected to cave and pay it. We sent them away. Then they tell us we will not get a refund because we sent them away instead of letting them take what was on their list. We ended up renting a uhaul (the only one left), packing 90% of our things, purchasing an airline ticket back to Wisconsin for the following day and renting another uhaul for the remain pieces. Still cost thousands less than the $6300. Worst experience of my life with movers. What a ridiculous scam. Shame on them. read more

Huge scam artist. They have you sign a contract and put a deposit down and then try to price gouge you a week before your move. Claimed they had to charge more for some "new DOT law" they couldn't provide any proof of or information for. Just Don't.... Don't hire this company if you value you your mental health, family belongings or a penny of your money. First contact was with "Mark" who is an EXCELLENT liar. He told me his company has a spotless record, spoke of the all the successful cross country movers. Gave me a $5700 estimate to move from KC, MO to just outside Philly, PA. Told me I needed to book my move with an immediate $2300 online certified check payment. He then passed me off to "Cameron", another excellent liar. "Cameron" asked for a final estimate of moving inventory, while neglecting to tell me he was feloniously processing another $3000+ payment, based on additional inventory. Cameron also started peppering the conversation with "You have the same name as my dead sister" "My mom is dead, your voice reminds me of hers" in an effort to win my trust. Blah, blah, blah... Not sure if they were lies, but regardless, not a necessary part of a business conversation, unless you are trying to hide the fact that you are completely unethical in business practices and play on people's sympathies. Then, Only Vans sold the contract (the are BROKERS, NOT MOVERS!!) to another, equally disreputable company. After that company showed up on move date with a request for another $7000 to even load the truck, I refused to proceed with the move. That is when "Jeff Fisher" (allegedly, the owner) got on the phone, telling me I was getting an excellent deal, and to be grateful. Finally negotiated it down to a more reasonable cost, but it didn't matter on their end. They already got their $6000+ in previous payments without moving a single item. By far, this was the WORST FINANCIAL DECISION I have ever made. And Only Vans also fails to tell you the contract you sign with them becomes void as soon as you sign the contract with the companies they sell your "move" to. Seriously, learn from my mistake and DO NOT USE ONLY VANS!! You will have a better luck (and a higher probability of a successful move) hiring random strangers off Craigslist to drive a UHaul cross country for your move. Just awful..... read more

This company is a scam and hands down has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They called me in the middle of the night, I was naive and agreed to move forward with their proposal. I looked at reviews when I hung up with them and called them back 8 minutes later saying I wanted to cancel. I was told that I would have to email their customer support email to cancel which I did. So I canceled less that 24 hours after speaking with them. They waited 48 hours to pull funds out of my bank, not as an ACH but as a check to bypass any stop payments. Their customer support didn't respond to me or have any concerns. After I contacted my bank again about a stop payment of the pending check... their customer service contacted me and were very aggressive and rude. They asked me what address would I be out in 30 days I said I was moving so wasn't sure... which is why they contacted me about moving. I asked to speak to a supervisor cause the individual was extremely rude and trying to bully me on the phone with aggressive tones and laughed at me when I asked for a supervisor. In no way is this company legit and they make sure you put a deposit down immediately and don't care one bit about the customer experience. All other reviews on the company online explain that when the movers actually come out they almost double what the quote is.
