They did not check any bags - we had 1 backpack each with some snacks and soft drinks 3. It did get very very hot - hats, umbrella, sunscreen were useful 4. The seating was open and there was shade after climbing about 5 flights of stairs 5. Most food stands were closed as this did not look like the busiest event but there were definitely options to chose from (expensive ofc) 6. We were able to go very close to all the cars and some drivers were really nice and took pictures with kids 7. There is a special area for ferrari owners ~~ 8. turn 2 was a good place to see the race 9. Totally done with class - the people sharing coffees and small bites prior to putting the helmets on were open, friendly and welcoming. No one ever asked, " what do you do?" How many do you own? Etc.. very low key. The track: very hilly and very tight corners. The G forces are going on the whole time and very easy to get an upset stomach. I passed on my driving coach's offer to do a "hot lap" after my 7 laps. Discretion at its best. All in all a very fun experience and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Then they had this security guy walking around who thought he was the big boss man. I watched as he mean to people for no reason. We expected to come to a track yet were actually greeted by some strange set up in a parking lot which was really weird and somewhat disappointing. The event is held one weekend each month and you need to book in advance, when you arrive on the day basically you just wait in line until it's your turn. There is a big turnout and my Husband got to drive about 40 minutes after his scheduled time. You're out with one of the instructed divers for the entire of the laps with the first one you're not allowed to go over a certain speed just to make sure you know what you're doing then they encourage you to ''open it up'' as much as you can throughout the laps, which is fun yet somewhat limited to do the size restrictions of the track itself which is marked out by cones. Despite the slight disappointment my Husband still had a great time, after weeks of working insane hours it was nice to see him come away with a smile and knowing that he finally got to something he had wanted to for so long. Aside from the Lamborghini Gallardo they also have a Porsche 911 and Ferrari.

We started talking to one of the shop clerks and learning about what a good starter kit could be for us. The clerk was super friendly and spent a long time discussing different price points and features and what would work for us at this moment. Then the manager came over and invited us to see how one of the RC cars races out in the parking lot. It was exhilirating and gave us "the spark" we needed to make the purchase. We took our brand new Traxxer 4x4 Slash Ready-To-Run home and played with it for hours. What a blast. My son's exact words after going through our third battery was "Wow, this was so frickin fun, even more than I thought it would be." Thanks NorCal Hobbies for helping us get into a new one.

He wanted to stop by to check out the RC cars and boats, and even he was surprised by how much the store had changed since the last time he visited! There was honestly so much to look at. They have a HUGE variety of RC stuff--cars, trucks, boats, planes, parts, accessories, different bodies, and so much more. They even work on and repair RC cars there, which is really convenient. For me, the coolest part was the indoor RC track! Since this was my first time here, I was honestly amazed watching everyone race their little RC cars around the track . I didn't realize how big of a hobby this was, so it was actually really fun to watch. They also have an entire rock-crawling room with rocks, bridges, ramps, and different obstacles for the RC trucks, which was really cool to see. The guy working there was also really nice. He greeted us when we came in and answered all of my husband's questions. He was friendly and took the time to talk to us without making us feel rushed. They also had several Monster Jam RC trucks, which immediately caught my attention . I specifically asked about the Sparkle Smash truck. They didn't have that particular one, but he said they might get it later on. He also told us to come back because they're having a Monster Jam event soon, and now I'm actually interested in coming back for it! My husband already knew about this place, but as a first-time visitor, I was really impressed. Even though RC cars aren't really my hobby, I still had a good time looking around and watching everyone race. Between the huge selection, indoor track, rock-crawling area, repair services, and friendly customer service, we'll definitely be back!

So why the 2 star rating? I used to run a oval track in Ohio and I witnessed a lack of urgency in starting the event. They needed more corner workers. But it didn't matter as there was no more than 4 riders in the 10 heats that I watched. Many races had 2 people only. I left after 1 hour of this. I am sorry to say but I wish they could pull more riders and have on track staff ready to roll. The concessions, gate man, fans and announcer all receive a 5 star rating.

We went to the 2 PM show on Saturday, and it was a fun, action-packed experience that kept my son completely entertained from start to finish. He especially loved the part where the electronic dinosaur ate a car and breathed out fire! The only downside was the timing for the pre-show activities. They advertised that the pit party ran from 12:00 to 2:00, so we arrived around 1:30 hoping my son could take some pictures with the monster trucks. Unfortunately, when we got down there, we were told they were already done taking pictures. It was definitely a disappointment for my son, so I'd recommend arriving right when the pit party starts if your kids want photos. Outside the arena, they have a solid setup with vendors offering beer and a few different food items to grab before things kick off. Despite the rocky start with the photo op, the main show itself was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be coming back the next time they host an event!

This was a first for us all...Shooting a music video at a raceway...San Francisco artist @bigglott.flood shot his video "SKEE SKURRT" on the new album " CONVERSATIONS" available everywhere!!! Hatch 86 films did an amazing job shooting & directing this video. This was a private shoot so we had the opportunity to enjoy the raceway in high fashion...no pun intended...lol 4 race cars where used on location for the shoot...Amazing time here ya diigg!!!

The New Stockton 99 Speedway There needs to be better…read moresafety and security in the grandstands and parking lot tonight after the races I was trying to leave but a newer gmc 1500 pickup truck parked incorrectly blocking my car and many others in. When I asked the driver to move he came at me with a knife and told me he was going to make my fat ass bleed and backed me against my car lucky my door was open and I was able to get inside but he try to hold my door open I was able to get my car in gear and drive off nearly hit two cars. Because of the event I will no longer be going to a track I grew up at and have been going to for my whole life it's no longer safe and honestly hasn't been for awhile. He had the knife with him in the track and he had way too much to drink at the beer booth tonight. There need to be something done before someone get hurt or killed due to these people.

The service is fast and responsive, even though DeLorean parts are hard to come by, as any DeLorean owner should know. They fixed the transmission as well as sorted out it's very complicated electrical system, due to all the props (Flux capacitor and such). Rob even has the shop phone forwarded to his cell so he doesn't miss a call. BTW most Delorean owners are never happy (referring to review by R.L.) because the cars are always broken. If you can't handle that fact, you shouldn't own a DeLorean. Just to rebut a previous review, the owner told me that DeLorean service takes a long time and it was a low priority in their shop. I was free to find a different DeLorean expert (there aren't any). No surprises here:)
