Right off the bat, I felt very at ease with her as a therapist. We established my goals for seeking therapy and discussed strategies for treatment. She's very knowledgeable and took the time to really educate me on the various treatment options we could explore. Talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy helped me become better equipped to deal with my feelings of anxiety and talk myself down before they started to get the better of me. I feel stronger as a person now and more able to handle the curve balls that life throws my way. I'm really grateful for her help. I contacted Winding Creek Counseling Service and the receptionist was very pleasant and stated she has the perfect person for me to talk to. I have been going there for about 9 months and have no regrets whatsoever. The "boss" is quite rude and ignorant to his employee's. When you walk in the front door you can feel the tension every time he has been around. However, I ignore his presence and joke with the receptionist because I can see it irritates the "boss" when he see's his employee's laughing. I honestly feel sorry for him because it's like the stick stuck in his butt was surgically placed there. It's a proven fact that when someone bullies other people on a regular basis it's due to their lack in themselves.
