There is More to this, But I will hold off for now. FRAUD all the way. Malpractice. Violations of Sworn Oaths, Broken Trust ect. 7-1-25...My Experience was a Scam. Misdiagnosis starting day 1. A Supposed Broken Femur Left Thigh. Then the Blind Sheep Following the Wolf Shepherd at UPMC then to Encompass. 17 days start to finish. Only to find out 3weeks later, NO such Broken Femur Existed & they were all wrong and Now I'm Bombarded w/Med Bills that are Un-Justifiable! To this day 12-28-25 I'm still Dealing with the Scam. Chasing me for money I simply don't owe due to their scam. It will be resolved. Trust me! The Shepherd failed his Duty. He Refused any Attempt at Procuring the Issue and Passed it on to the Sheep. The Shepherd for now is Long gone. Not much Longer however. At this Point the OSS Shepherd Ringleader needs to be Disciplined and Forced to Pay all bills and by Rights Compensation to me for the ongoing Misery I will carry till I die! Unbelievable! So far approx. $70thousand & counting. I won't mention Specific Names for good reason. Encompass allowed the Misinformed wrong Diagnosis to be their Guide to Treatment. PT, OT ect. I am a 71 year old man with pain and disability resulting from a pinched nerve. My left leg was in…read moreconstant pain and essentially out of action. I couldn't walk without crutches or a walker. The pain took away my appetite and I lost a lot of weight. I also had a lot of trouble sleeping at night. I saw Robin Pflieger to get help. Robin tested my mobility and strength in a number of different ways to try to determine what and where my problems were and what kinds of physical therapy would help. She watched me stand up, sit down, and walk with the walker. She then taught me to do various exercises and explained the purpose of each one. She also did a certain amount of stretching and massage. Some of that helped and some didn't, but she paid attention to any feedback I gave her and adapted her treatments in light of what I was reporting. We talked the entire time over the course of two sessions so that, in addition to getting good physical therapy, I got answers to a lot of questions that I had no one else to ask about. Another reviewer said that Robin is "a wonderful listener, encourager, and skilled physical therapist." I agree. All of the doctors and other physical therapists I had spoken to were very non-committal about my prospects. I think no one wanted to make any promises about what I would or wouldn't be able to do and so they just offered their treatments and said "We'll see what happens." Robin told me that she believed that physical therapy would give me a lot of benefit and she turned out to be right. She gave me motivation to work at this and the work paid off. I haven't cured my pinched nerve. I still have a lot of pain. I may need surgery to resolve the underlying condition. But I've gotten out of the walker, I can walk around the house, climb stairs, take a shower standing up, do household chores, drive my car, and walk a couple of blocks or so before the pain really builds up. My wife and I are now living a much more normal life instead of the life of a cripple and his caretaker. I highly recommend her services.

I have seen several physical therapists through the years, and none come close to Robin. Following two failed rotator cuff surgeries on the same shoulder, Robin is the ONLY medical professional (and I have seen many) to give me hope for the future. The last three years have been filled with disappointment, anger, despair, frustration, and pain. In just two sessions with Robin, so much has improved physically, emotionally, and mentally. I have gained strength, range of motion, increased ease in completing daily activities, decreased pain, and most importantly-hope for the future. Robin's skill, personality, and care for me is top notch. I do not feel like a patient, but a friend who she wants to help and believes the best about. She is a wonderful listener, encourager, and skilled physical therapist. I am so thankful that my path crossed with Robin's. There is no price tag that can be placed on all that Robin has given back to me.

Food was terrible and obviously they don't monitor nor care if they are eating or not. Had a large bruise on her arm that none of the nurses documented so nobody seemed to know what it came from. Director of nursing never addressed my voicemail or email with photo of it. Knowing she was confused she was left unattended in a room and fell out of her wheelchair. At the time she fell I was in speaking with admin about all my complaints about the facility and this large bruise. Can you believe the unit director had the nerve to ask me if I had thought about where I would place her if she ever needed long term care? My answer, well certainly not here! It's all about keeping beds filled there for profit. They didn't even want to send her out to get checked after falling until I said I want her checked! I guess they were afraid they would lose money for the day since it was still before one o'clock and they knew I wouldn't let her come back after all this. ED said she was malnourished, electrolytes were off, dehydrated, wbc was up and she had a uti. Funny the nurse practitioner had just told me earlier in the day her bloodwork looked pretty good. They lie. My mother suffered a concussion from the fall, severe back pain and a laceration to her arm. They blame everything on being short staffed. Well if you can't have enough staff for all the patients then stop taking more people in. Oh no you can't do that because it's all about the mighty dollar. They don't care about the patients/residents. Don't fall for their talk. They are good at "lip service". Actions speak louder than words. Horrible place. Ask around. Hospitals and a lot of the people in the community know how bad it is. Thankfully I was able to get her out of the hospital and found a caretaker for my mother for when I'm at work and not there to take care of her. She is home now and doing well. Maybe the fall was a blessing in disguise. I really feel if she had to stay at Manorcare any longer she surely would have died from their lack of care and neglect. If you have been through a similar experience with a loved one here or have any questions please feel free to contact me.

The staff is courteous and professional, but they are a bit understaffed on the weekends. The facility is clean and tidy, so that's another positive. The food on the other hand is horrific. There are no fresh fruits or vegetables at all. Every meal is laiden with nothing but carbs: mostly white bread and instant mashed potatoes. The amount of salt in the diets here is atrocious and everything comes out of a box or a can. Their idea of nutrition is a fish stick in a hot dog bun. How anyone can heal in this place is beyond me.
