He waited on all 23 of us and didn't miss a beat. This place also has several other games such as skeeball, basketball and bocce ball. I'd record this spot for groups or a date. The inflatable island and obstacle course looks great as well. We got the season pass and plan to return to try all that Margaritaville at Lanier Islands has to offer. Lastly, the snack shops are excellent and have great customer service and ice creams available. The souvenir shop seems like it's well stocked as well. I have nothing to fault Margaritaville for and consider this a 4.1 star rounded up because it's summer. Thank you to the staff and Lanier Islands for having such an awesome water park so close to home. 5 stars!

We changed clubs as a result of Joey and had no problem doing so as every other coach was very happy to work with a high performance young teenager and help her get "competition ready." Coaching is a seminal component in a teenager's life and we did not feel comfortable with his attitude or interactions with the kids. Mike seems like a great CEO, but not well-informed by the coaching staff -that could be a result of the head coach who we never heard a word from. I would make sure to spend time talking to the coaches before picking Dynamo, depending on the child's age.

No goodbye to the old coach, leading to sobbing and angry teens. The also not so best part was that they offered a 4pm practice when high school kids in this area get out at 3:45 6 miles away from the new location. Not sure if this was pregnancy discrimination or just awfulness/rudeness, but Dynamo has changed. I did try to reach out to the head coach and got a nasty note back from the Board Chair. You can't count on them to offer consistency, which I think was a hard lesson for my kids and for me since that's what they claim to sell. The City of Decatur should definitely take the Oakhurst pool back from Dynamo.

My turns booked it but said there are various options to the games you could choose. We did the Family Feud style game, Fill in the Blank, corn hole and flip cups. My team was losing until flip cups lol. We came back and won the battle lol! My husband said he enjoyed it and would do it again & that he had more fun than he expected. That's a win in & of itself! lol Please bring cash or have Cash App to tip your host and game tech advisor person; I forgot the title lol. They make your game show battle experience fun! The restrooms were clean. They sell water, soft drinks, some beer, seltzers, and maybe wine and sports drinks. I don't think I saw any food for sell. It's all about the game show battles anyway! We played several different games like wheel of fortune, family feud, and price is right. We had so much fun. After the games we returned into the first room and had food. There are 2-3 trails around the park but a bit rugged, so I recommend going when there's plenty of daylight. Parking spots are plenty and the park is pet-friendly. There are also kayak rentals on the river bank below. When we came we hiked the 3/4 mile looped trail behind the playground accessible from the parking lot. There was a bald eagle flying above his beat. Kayakers down below had beached themselves on a sandbar in the middle of the river. A guitarist was jamming and kids were playing in the Sun. Just a picture perfect place to relax and take in the sites.

This park is deceptively huge. It spans 135 acres and dates back to 1954. There is a decent amount…read moreof parking available for visitors. The park is actually two sections, separated by a lake. The park is a nature park has has many picnic tables and shelters, with picnic tables under them scattered on both sides of the park. Some of the picnic tables and shelters are located along the river and provide some panoramic views. The park also features a nice nature trail that is in the wood and pretty well shaded. On one side of the park you will find a small, but newer playground area with percussion instruments, saucer swings, and a couple of slides. It is pretty basic. The other side has a much larger playground. It has a huge play structure that looks like a fort and has a rock climbing wall, slides, and bridges. There is also a pyramid net climber, saucer swings, and toddler swings. The equipment is pretty spread out and in pretty good shape. There is a smaller play structure for little ones which has tunnels, slides, and bridges. You will find rocking animals in that area as well. This side of the park also has a restroom facility. This park is certified as a wildlife habitat and you will see water fowl, geese, beavers and squirrels up close and personal to name just a few animals. Someone was fishing while I was there, but I do not know how good the fishing is, or even if it is allowed. I do not know if it is part of the park, but across the street you will find a huge and amazing baseball complex that looks like it is home to a junior college. It is nice and very well maintained. All in all, this park is decent. It is well maintained and the lake and views are awesome . I will admit that There is not much to offer outside of the trails, shelter, lake, and picnic tables. I like the park, but I was not wow'ed or overwhelmed. The playgrounds are somewhat basic and probably would not holds a kids attention too long. This park would be great for those looking for a nature park.

After ~2 years, I would say that I have been satisfied with my experience about 50% of the time enrolled and I am exploring new options for my children. Reasoning follows: 1. Staffing: constant turnover and short staffing lead inadequate teacher:child ratios. You will end up dropping off/picking up your child from different rooms and different faces frequently. Administration will not communicate staffing changes and deceptively leave up pictures of former staff on classroom boards. 2. Cleanliness: the 1-2 year old classroom has glue coming through the floorboards. It has been 6 months since first reported with no remedy. Do you want your kids crawling on this floor? (See picture). If you open the refrigerators or look in drawers or cabinets, you will be disgusted. Too many of the toys and books in the rooms are in very poor condition. 3. Learning Environment: It is difficult to provide a consistently rich learning environment when constantly short staffed and rotating through new faces. 4. Owner: She is rarely present except for when she is asking you for more money for one of her charitable tax write off initiatives.

In February of this year, my son was enrolled in a different school. During his first week, he got…read moresick, and truly never got better. After two months attending, we found out his hearing was temporarily affected from the fluid in his ears and he was scheduled for tubes surgery. Unfortunately because of the sickness, he only spent two full weeks in school out of the two months period. Before the tubes were even put into place, my son was kicked out of the school with teachers claiming he was possibly autistic and more than they could handle. I came to Goddard Chamblee with paperwork in hand that the previous school handed me with my tail tucked between my legs also terrified that they would agree and turn my son away. After a quick discussion and a glance at the paperwork, they agreed that no child should ever be left behind and that the previous school didn't even give my son a chance. My son has now been enrolled at Goddard Chamblee for two months and has hit more milestones and thriving more than he ever has anywhere else. The teachers are so loving, nurturing, and patient. They work with my son to ensure he's truly a part of the class and I can tell they genuinely care about him. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Goddard Chamblee. And special shoutout to Ms. Wendy who truly makes his classroom seem like home.
