Dirty! Outdated! Poor management! The gym itself is outdated, however that you can tell on your walk-through. I joined the gym in March, and sometime between April-May they did renovations in the pool and sauna areas. The sauna had a strong chemical odor when they reopened it, and I could not use in for weeks. When the smell finally went away, I found out that they never did a deep clean after the renovation. There is still constriction dust in the sauna all over the walls and the ceiling. You can see it very well in the dry sauna. In the steam room and jacuzzi you can't see it, but I doubt they clean it, so probably it has been a nursery for bacteria and germs all this time. I spoke with Rachel Philips 4 times about it (one of the sales managers at the gym). We even walked down to the sauna and every time she apologized and promised that she will take care of it. I also spoke with Suzanne Cupert who is a general manager of the gym. She also apologized and promised to fix it. Needless to say the sauna still looks like the pictures. Today I was talking to another member of the gym and she told me that she had to clean the sauna window herself to remove the "clean me" that had been written by finger. So if you are looking for a clean gym with good customer service, look somewhere else.

Just stopped by to visit. Nice facility and friendly staff. Trying to decide where to join - here, or two other places we visited. Hmmmmm.

I've been coming to Crunch fitness for over a year now and I've really enjoyed my time here…read more This is definitely a gym where if you are a "beginner", just want a solid work out and want to avoid judgement, you'll feel very comfortable. There area also people here who are very serious and experienced in their fitness journey and they are not judgmental at all and don't walk around like they own the place. What has kept me engaged this past year are the group fitness classes that are offered throughout the week. They are led by different trainers and there are many styles of classes to choose from. If you are like me and don't always know what to do in the gym or want to switch up your routine you should give them a try. My membership includes being able to go to other gyms. Usually I stick to Perimeter but I've been to Chamblee as they offer different classes so I enjoy that perk. The gym is always clean. Mr. Richard works so hard to make sure things are clean, in their proper place and that machines are functioning correctly. Parking at this gym leaves a lot to be desired. There are a couple rows of parking right in front. If you don't find a spot there then you will either have to park in the back of the building or a bit further down. This location is in an awkward drive through shopping center type of thing so it can be hard to find decent parking. Staffing wise it seems as though this gym has a decent amount of turnover. There are a few staff members that have worked there consistently, and then others that are newer. You can definitely make a distinction between ones that are more invested than others. Sometimes it feels like they would rather hang out at the counter than assist the members.

I visited the Crunch Fitness Perimeter location as a guest with a friend who had just signed up for…read morea membership. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk left a very negative impression. We were initially told that my friend was required to provide a bank account and routing number as a second payment method, even though he already had a card on file and the online signup process allowed him to select a card payment option. When we questioned this requirement and asked to see the policy, we were met with resistance. The employee first offered to print the policy, then refused to do so, and eventually admitted that another card could be used after all. The information kept changing throughout the conversation, which made the entire situation confusing and frustrating. What bothered me most was being told I was "aggressive" and being asked whether someone had upset me simply because I requested documentation supporting what we were being told. Asking questions and requesting clarification should not be viewed as a problem. My issue is not with Crunch Fitness itself. My issue is with being provided inconsistent information and the lack of professionalism shown when reasonable questions were asked. Customers deserve clear answers, transparency, and respectful communication. I hope management reviews this situation so future members receive accurate information and a better experience than we did.

What I didn't realize I was missing was the energy that comes from being surrounded by people pursuing health, wellness, growth, and recovery. What sets Life Time apart is that it isn't just a gym. It's an ecosystem built around helping people become the healthiest version of themselves. One day I may run laps on the indoor track. Another day I may focus on strength training, core work, boxing, stretching, or recovery. There are machines and training areas for every fitness level and every goal imaginable. Treadmills, weights, functional fitness spaces, recovery tools, massage chairs, stretching equipment, steam rooms, hot tubs, infrared saunas, traditional saunas, cold recovery spaces, and more. And yes, there are televisions everywhere filled with sports. Lots and lots of sports. The atmosphere is contagious. You are surrounded by people investing in themselves, challenging themselves, and pursuing healthier lives. One of the lessons I recently wrote about in my article Dynamic Stretch + Recovery is that growth doesn't happen during the workout alone. Growth happens in the recovery. Muscles strengthen when they are challenged and then given time to rebuild. The same is true in life. The best leaders understand this. The healthiest people understand this. Strong performance requires intentional recovery. Life Time has reminded me of that truth. For me, the traditional sauna has become a favorite place to reflect, pray, recover, and simply be still. It is often in those quiet moments that I find clarity, gratitude, and perspective. What has surprised me most is how much our entire family loves it. My daughter is having a blast with the pools, water slides, and activities. The outdoor beach club atmosphere, music, and weekend events make it feel more like a resort than a gym. My husband has found a place to exercise, stay active, and invest in his health as well. We joined thinking we were purchasing a fitness membership. What we found was community, family experiences, wellness, recovery, inspiration, and joy. In a world that constantly tells us to do more, Life Time reminds us that our health, our families, and our well-being are worth investing in too. Grateful we made the decision.

Found this gym right near my house and am so glad. I signed up for a membership after trying one…read moreworkout! I love it now and am obsessed with how time-saving the workouts are and how simple they are to book. ***Location: Right at the Perimeter near the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody line. I love that it is walking distance from my place, so I can get a mini warm up in, walking over to the place. I don't need parking, but there is a huge lot shared with all of the businesses in the shopping center and there are plenty of spots! ***Staff: The new owner, Ann Marie and the new manager, Hattie are both super nice! I hadn't heard of this place previously, as I recently moved to the area, but I see that there are lots of negative reviews from a while back, but glad to see that it is under new management and all of the staff is amazing and welcoming! They helped me get set up with my membership and walked me through everything and answered all of my questions. ***Experience: Great experience! I have been several times now and still need to try soo many of the workouts, but I really love the Hot Blast and have done that several times. I also like doing the Hot Yoga right after, to get a longer workout in, that is still way less time than I would have spent doing cardio and yoga in a traditional gym. When you sign up they show you how to login and use the app. It is super simple to book your time slots. Each room can fit up to 3 people, but I believe they are still only taking 2 per room for social distancing. You can see on the app though if anyone has already booked. I went very early the other morning and it was super nice because there was only one other person working out in a different room, so it was very nice to have the sauna room to myself. I also went before opening, so I used my code to get in. It is a 24 hour gym so it is perfect if you are looking to go really early or late! Each session starts on time. You can see the schedule times on the app, but the HIIT sessions are on 15 min loops and the Isometric on 30. You can go in, adjust the temp and just follow the workout that starts automatically on the screen. I love that it isn't intimidating and they show different options for different levels, but the added heat makes you sweat and you still get out of your house to go. I feel like fitness programs at home don't really keep you accountable, but here, you still go in and people could still potentially be in the room or walk by, so there is somewhat accountability to actually follow the routine, but no pressure to be perfect since it is just you and the screen. I definitely like that for the yoga. I am still learning all of the moves, so a couple of them still need work lol. ***Amenities: There are showers, water fountains, vending machines, towels, shelves for your things, lockers for rent, 24 hour access, and a whole workout section in the back where you can do cross training in addition to the sauna workouts! ***Prices: 59$ a month and when you sign up you pay 100$ which includes your mat and towel, which are very nice and you do need them so that they won't melt in the rooms. There are plenty of promotions throughout the year from what I see, so I think you can sometimes get a deal to sign up, but the price per month is not bad at all for a 24 hour gym that has classes + the infrared sauna aspect! ***Improvements: The only thing I don't like is that I find it hard to watch the screen in front of you when doing the yoga positions and I imagine it is the same for pilates, etc. But it isn't a huge deal if you go regularly, once you have the routine down, you won't need to really look to see how they are doing it, you can just listen. I do definitely like to book times when no one else is there though, to be sure at least for the yoga that I am in my own room!

I've been to this Hotworx prepandemic but not since new ownership. Since the place is 24hrs thats important to me. They have a security guard that patrols and a life alert-like system that you can activate if you feel like you need emergency assistance. I found out that they have aqua rowers and I couldn't wait to try them since I love rowing. The dual handles really provide more range of motion options for working out your arms. I loved it. I look forward to coming back and trying more classes.

I used to do CYC classes until they closed and now I go to workout at 5am a few times a week and hit that awesome sauna they have. While this is he most amazing gym ever and deserves nothing less of 5 stars there are some things I'm not too fond of like..... The celeb-like crowds. However sometimes you can catch celebs in the gym working out. :) There are tons of equipment and many different machines, but depending on what time you go you may end up elbow to elbow with the hot guy that jogs to the gym or the grumpy person that hates mornings. Either way if you go to forum you're bound to make some new friends and connect with people. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I would prefer to workout at 8 or 9 since I don't work until 11am but the traffic in the gym is horrible around that time, so I'll stick with my 5am workout. It is always dark and usually all of the freaking gates to parking are closed so you have to come around the front and enter that way. I love that there is a police station directly beside the gym and officers are usually there at 5am. :) If you need a new gym, looking for a workout partner or just want to pop in and see what all the hype is about check out Forum!

While the gym is pretty decent for the most part: lots of machines, spread-out, saunas, lockers, etc...much of the place looked kind of rundown. So many areas were undergoing construction. In the gym AND the locker rooms. It looks like a really nice gym upon first glance, but it's fairly rundown inside. I arrived close to 6, and then close to 7, a worker tapped my shoulder and told me they close at 7. Upon arriving for the first time, this same worker didn't tell me what time the club closed at all. While he did give me a tour of the place and told me about the gym, he forgot to mention the important detail that it closed at 7. Regardless, I still had a pretty good workout. If they could just do some cleanup and renovate a little quicker, I would've given this review 1-2 more stars. But until the fix the fact that this placed looks rundown and beat-up inside, it will stay 3 stars. There is plenty of parking in front of the club which is nice. It's also free. It's attached to Lenox Mall, so plenty of parking. I don't know if I would come back until renovations were complete.
