Does your gym play music outside like you're walking into the actual club? Does your gym bring in signs and strobe lights in during your cycling class as if you're getting bottle service to celebrate your birthday? Does your gym always play the hottest mixes? Does your gym allow you to do free weights, a sauna, cycling class, reform Pilates, Hyrox, boxing, CS4 and MORE for ONE RATE?! No.. not unless you are already a member at Club Studio of course :) Parking: Can definitely get tight on the weekends due to Costco, but is plentiful when I go at 5am lol. Parking garage nearby! Literally my second home at this point! I love the Club and how welcoming all the staff is from the front desk to the instructors. Still need to try the sauna! I come early in the morning so it's always clean and organized well and just a nice place to escape. I also legit have never taken a class I haven't liked! Each instructor brings their own vibe so I enjoy finding a favorite and sticking with them! Sasha at Hyrox? Amazing. Dannielle teaching Hot Pilates? Amazing. Yes, the classes do book fast but more often than not you do get a spot off the waitlist which is lovely.

My review is based on receiving a 5-day free pass to Club Studio but not being an actual member. I went to Club Studio all in the morning between 6-10 am. The parking lot can get very crowded, especially when Costco is open but I was always able to find a spot. The gym brings a lot of energy by playing music outside and having very friendly and helpful staff at the front. Even though I went during prime morning hours, both during the week and on the weekend, the gym was never super crowded which made working out even better. I signed up for a different class each day I went. The CS4 and Hyrox classes were the most difficult, in terms of getting a good workout and sweat in, whereas the rebound and reform classes were great for active recovery and strength training. I signed up for all the classes at the beginning of the week and did not have any problem getting into the ones I wanted. The gym itself is really nice. It seems very new, with all new and clean equipment. The cardio machines are located upstairs with the majority of the functional training, weights, machines, and other workout areas on the main level. They have a basketball court and a recovery area. As far as I could tell, the basketball court is included but the recovery area costs extra. I did try the recovery area and it is very nice. They have compression lounges, cryotherapy, hydro massages, and red light therapy. I am unsure on the pricing of these but I very much enjoyed the hydro massage and compression lounge. The locker rooms are fully equipped with built-in, easy to use locks on the lockers; shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers; and lotion and hair dryers. They also provide towels and have a sauna. The showers have great pressure and heat up almost instantly. Overall, the gym is extremely nice and worth the cost for having classes, a basketball court, and new equipment if you're looking for a nicer gym to go to.

WOW- talk about a workout!!…read more A friend had been trying to get me to join her for a sweat cycle class for some time. I basically told her the concept of cycling in a hot room sounds like torture to me!! However, I finally gave in and joined her for a Saturday morning class. Let's first talk about the location. The business is located inside of The Forum Athletic Club. The athletic club is located near the beauty school Elaine Sterling Institute and the Atlanta Police Department at Lenox mall. This should help you with actually getting to this spot. They have ample parking in the garage that is free. When you walk into the gym you need to follow the signs for sweat cycle. You are immediately greeted by the front desk staff and signed in. I was given the opportunity to pick my bike location and given a part of cycle shoes. NOTE: cycle shoes are required. You can not ride in your tennis shoes. Since this was my first class the instructor assisted me with sitting my bike up correctly. She measured the seat to my hip height and the handle bar against my arm reach. She also helped me lock the shoes in and gave me instructions on how to use the bike resistance and the various stances that will be called pit furring the classes the instructor advised that she recently had a baby so she would be on and off the bike, and likely off more. I can understand and respect that. The class started with a warm up and then the fun started. When I tell you this was 45 minutes of detoxification and cardio at the same time!! You basically get out of this class what you put in. If you go in and push yourself you will burn a ton of calories. I highly recommend coming hydrated and drinking water throughout the class! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that loves to cycle and wants to challenge themselves by doing it in a heated room! I look forward to my next class, maybe I will see you thee!

I took Joi's class who was really motivating, and helpful- from start to finish. Music was on point and well, room was hella hot but it should be! Time went by quick and I recommend! I've since moved out of the area, but was back in town scoping neighborhoods for when I return to ATL. I decided to stop at the Blast Buckhead location for old time's sake. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to my memories. The class that I attended was a 5 min block class which I never cared for in the past and didn't care for this time bc there's not enough time to work up a good sweat at each station before transitioning since the clock keeps running during transitions. This location also has zero COVID safety protocols: because of the constant switching, there is no time to wipe off the shared equipment and wipes aren't even provided on the floor. My biggest gripe, though, was the instructor and his music. I enjoy boutique fitness classes and the playlists usually get me pumped for a great workout. This instructor played LOTS of pop and rock and a handful of 80s/90s R&B songs. By the time there were 20 mins left in the class I hadn't heard a single hip hop song so I asked if he would mind playing some. His response? "Umm... we have to play stuff for everybody." I responded "yes I know. I just haven't heard any [hip hop] so that's why I asked." His response rly annoyed me. I am not a fitness class newbie. OBVIOUSLY most instructors play a variety of music for "everybody" but completely excluding one genre of music doesn't seem like you're playing music for "everybody." Am I not a part of that number? Also, I've been to countless studios-- OTF, Solid Core, Barry's-- and the instructors there ALWAYS welcome requests from participants bc we are the ones working out! I don't plan on joining when I move back. Ugh what a bummer.

I arrived a few minutes early for my first class and was warmly greeted by the front desk. She checked me in and gave me a tour of the space. The restrooms and shower area was fully stocked with goodies in case you left something at home. Good to note if you are headed to work after a workout. I dropped my keys into a locker and waited for class to begin. The instructor, Denae, called me into class a little early and showed me the equipment and treadmills and how everything would flow during the workout. These treadmills go up to 30 incline, woah! Cold water bottles and towels are provided too, so amazing! Class began and we warmed up. I was already breaking a sweat and feeling good when the first block began. The class is broken into smaller blocks of floor and cardio work. After the intervals on the treadmill, it was time to swap to the floor. A super intense workout with long and short resistance bands were killer. I needed to change my band for a 'beginner' band, which the instructor noticed and assisted me so I didn't have to move from my station- Thank you! Fast forward 60 minutes and we were finished, cooling down with some stretches and lite ab work. I left feeling awesome, it was a great experience.

The workouts…read morethemselves can be good, but the customer service and overall management left a lot to be desired. I had multiple issues with scheduling, cancellations, getting charged incorrectly, and communication. It was very difficult to get a clear resolution from the staff. The studio often felt disorganized. The billing practices and cancellation fees feel excessive, and trying to get a reasonable answer or resolution is an exercise in frustration. Instead of working with members, the staff seems quick to quote policies without showing any understanding or any documentation. Matter in fact, they were too lazy to show me the document I signed when I first onboarded because I came from the Chamblee location. For the price of a membership, I expected so much more. It is far too expensive for the level of service you receive and it simply isn't worth the money. Before you consider signing up with Orangetheory, do your research and look at other health organizations (Burn Boot Camp, Life Time, La Fitness, Club Pilates, etc...). Save your money and spend it somewhere that actually values its members.

It was about an hour or so for the most part, you had a really energetic instructor there, and they work everything. Starting from the beginning, coming in the door you're greeted (by Kade) and it's super nice and super friendly. The instructor for the day came out, Philip, and talk to me and show me the ropes as far as what to expect from the class. During the workout itself, he was super cool it was really motivating. They were maybe give or take around 12 people in the class and he made time to stop it each section of the room so that you can make sure that you got some attention. That could be hard to do with so many people doing so many different things but orangetheory seems to work it out just fine! You have three sections, weights, rowers, and treadmill. Depending on what type of day, you're going to go between all three of them. Sometimes it's two but the day that I went was three. The structure is going to motivate you and it's going to have some music in the background keeping you on tempo. I really have no drawbacks. I would definitely suggest try it out. The first class is free. And depending on when you join, there's a special going on that you can take advantage of!
