I've never asked. They have an elite team of trainers that are dedicated to their work and will push you. They all are as fit and talented as their fit physiques imply. They will unlock a strength, power and resilience in you that you never even thought you had. I train with Cam and he is AMAZING - creates great muscle building and endurance workouts. Prepare to lift heavy. After a session or class with any of their trainers, you can enjoy a protein shake, wrap, cold pressured juice or smoothie from the juice stand onsite, Perfect Pair Juice Bar. They offer a great variety of nourishment to help your body recover after a good burn. They also sell juice cleanses that WORK (if you strictly follow their directions)! I lost 8 on their 3-day juice cleanse. Overall, the best part of this place is the solid community you gain with other gym patrons that you train with. You may start or end your days together with the common goal of improving your quality of life. The people here are serious and will show up consistently to workout with you and support you. This has been my best gym experience.

Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to my memories. The class that I attended was a 5 min block class which I never cared for in the past and didn't care for this time bc there's not enough time to work up a good sweat at each station before transitioning since the clock keeps running during transitions. This location also has zero COVID safety protocols: because of the constant switching, there is no time to wipe off the shared equipment and wipes aren't even provided on the floor. My biggest gripe, though, was the instructor and his music. I enjoy boutique fitness classes and the playlists usually get me pumped for a great workout. This instructor played LOTS of pop and rock and a handful of 80s/90s R&B songs. By the time there were 20 mins left in the class I hadn't heard a single hip hop song so I asked if he would mind playing some. His response? "Umm... we have to play stuff for everybody." I responded "yes I know. I just haven't heard any [hip hop] so that's why I asked." His response rly annoyed me. I am not a fitness class newbie. OBVIOUSLY most instructors play a variety of music for "everybody" but completely excluding one genre of music doesn't seem like you're playing music for "everybody." Am I not a part of that number? Also, I've been to countless studios-- OTF, Solid Core, Barry's-- and the instructors there ALWAYS welcome requests from participants bc we are the ones working out! I arrived a few minutes early for my first class and was warmly greeted by the front desk. She checked me in and gave me a tour of the space. The restrooms and shower area was fully stocked with goodies in case you left something at home. Good to note if you are headed to work after a workout. I dropped my keys into a locker and waited for class to begin. The instructor, Denae, called me into class a little early and showed me the equipment and treadmills and how everything would flow during the workout. These treadmills go up to 30 incline, woah! Cold water bottles and towels are provided too, so amazing! Class began and we warmed up. I was already breaking a sweat and feeling good when the first block began. The class is broken into smaller blocks of floor and cardio work. After the intervals on the treadmill, it was time to swap to the floor. A super intense workout with long and short resistance bands were killer. I needed to change my band for a 'beginner' band, which the instructor noticed and assisted me so I didn't have to move from my station- Thank you! Fast forward 60 minutes and we were finished, cooling down with some stretches and lite ab work. I left feeling awesome, it was a great experience.

While the gym is pretty decent for the most part: lots of machines, spread-out, saunas, lockers, etc...much of the place looked kind of rundown. So many areas were undergoing construction. In the gym AND the locker rooms. It looks like a really nice gym upon first glance, but it's fairly rundown inside. I arrived close to 6, and then close to 7, a worker tapped my shoulder and told me they close at 7. Upon arriving for the first time, this same worker didn't tell me what time the club closed at all. While he did give me a tour of the place and told me about the gym, he forgot to mention the important detail that it closed at 7. Regardless, I still had a pretty good workout. If they could just do some cleanup and renovate a little quicker, I would've given this review 1-2 more stars. But until the fix the fact that this placed looks rundown and beat-up inside, it will stay 3 stars. There is plenty of parking in front of the club which is nice. It's also free. It's attached to Lenox Mall, so plenty of parking. I don't know if I would come back until renovations were complete.

I've tried to join various gyms around Atlanta for the past 20 years, and have not kept it up to…read moreany extent at all - usually attending each for just a few times per year. To my amazement, Jam Fitness has kept me interested and working out - last month I completed 16 workouts. This month I am on track for 25+. What keeps me going back is the heart rate based system - you wear a heart rate monitor which also calculates calories burned. Everyone's heart rate is displayed on the big board in the gym, and a running leader board helps inspire competition - I try to see how far up on the leader board I can get. Since joining on Oct. 17, I have lost 11 pounds (about 7 weeks later), due to my workouts at Jam and tightening up on my diet. After burning 800 plus calories per session at Jam (takes about 1:15 to do that for me), I am more careful about what I eat. I'm on my way to lose 30 pounds total over the next several months, and happy to tell folks about Jam Fitness. My friends and family can tell the difference and so can I. One of the other nice things about Jam Fitness is that it's small enough to feel sort of like a family - with nice supportive staff, and huge variation every day in what exercises are done at each station. Pretty cool stuff. It feels if I skip a day or two, I need to tell staff because they are attentive to attendance (at least in my mind). Not like the big gyms, that's for sure, in many ways.

When I informed Ryan that I cannot make the commitment "right now" but will love to join "later". His response was "we don't do be backs" and ignored my message about returning. I am left to assume that I am no longer able to join the gym at any time in the future so, I want to say if you're not absolutely sure you can spend the money, do not go to this place. As a fellow business owner, this could have been handled better and with more decorum.
