A few problems were discovered over the first week of ownership; check engine light, mirror would not retract, rear seatbelt would not retract. The service manager and salesman took these issues to the GM who approved all repairs at no cost to me (without my needing to raise a fuss). It is reassuring to know Mullinax Ford of Olympia will "do the right thing".

To be honest the dealership did do some work on the vehicle I bought to fix some cosmetic issues…read more However, I felt rushed in the purchase and when I reached out about some concerns with the vehicle that was under the 3 day return warranty period I got no responses or genuine concern about my questions. As a consumer buying a used vehicle I own some of the responsibility and should have done more homework. But what really bothered me was being told by the salesman John that Mullinax is different from other dealerships and they take care about their customers. I didnt feel this way at all after my purchase and with no responses after reaching out about my concerns.

I brought my vehicle in for a recall and for a diagnostic on a persistent starter sputtering issue…read morethat has been happening since I purchased the car brand new from Dodge. Unfortunately, this was the first visit where the issue was finally acknowledged. Tacoma Dodge previously told me the vehicle was fine and that no starting issue existed, even though it was still under warranty at the time. Now that the warranty has expired, the repair is needed. I also requested a quote for a daytime running light issue. When we received the repair estimates for both concerns, the cost was quite high, so we decided to explore vehicle options instead. Lucas and Shawn were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. We found a gently used vehicle that offered the space our family needed. It was a busy day, so the negotiations and financing took some time, but they ensured we were taken care of throughout the process.

1 star. Absolutely…read morethe worst customer service I've ever experienced. The service manager, Aaron Tolliver, was dreadful to deal with from start to finish. My wife was treated like a joke the entire time and was met with dismissive, sexist behavior instead of professionalism or respect. She specifically had a conversation with the service department requesting that they contact her before performing any work on the vehicle. They completely ignored that request and proceeded with service anyway without authorization or communication. Then they essentially held her car hostage until she paid for the work. At one point, Aaron even told her, "sorry you have a broken car," in a sarcastic and unprofessional manner instead of attempting to resolve the situation or provide actual customer service. This was easily the worst service department experience we have ever had. We will never return and will be filing a complaint with the State Attorney General. Avoid Rainier Dodge's service department if you expect honesty, communication, or basic respect.

Everyone here is friendly. I dealt with Iona or Iola (sorry, I am terrible with names!) every time and this young lady deserves a raise! She made me feel comfortable and she was very polite. I felt like an idiot and hate dealing with car problems but she was sympathetic and reassuring and I felt much better knowing she was going to see to it that my car was taken care of. Even though I came in without an appointment, Hanson's took care of my car and replaced my tire. Granted I had to pay for it but it's not their fault I drove over a nail. Iola has always walked me to my car afterwards and made sure I knew that if I had any issues or questions that she was there to help. Seriously, she needs to be promoted. Her customer service skills are excellent. On another note, the waiting area is very nice. There's coffee, tea and water as well as snacks. There's a big TV and free Wi-Fi. The restroom is clean. I highly recommend Hanson's and although I hope I don't need to go back any time soon, I'll definitely be back when it's time for my next oil change.

Brandon in sales is phenomenal to work with! From the first point of contact, he was incredibly…read morepersonable, caring, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. He took the time to rework estimates, negotiate costs, provide all the information I needed and make every accommodation possible. He sent me a personal video of the car I was interested in, responded to my messages even on his days off, was willing to arrange transport from over 30 miles away, and stayed multiple hours past closing. Brandon didn't just stay late to complete the sale, but made sure I had everything I needed at every step and even helped set up my phone after locking up and made sure I drove away happy and safe. He showed a genuine interest and care for my needs; I truly felt like more than just another sale, which was beyond pleasant. I had been without a car since November and actively in the market since January with many unfavorable experiences with various dealerships, which was surprising since I was only looking at Subaru. Brandon is the epitome of what I expect from Subaru and truly represents the company's values of being client-centered, showing love and respect to all, and providing enjoyment and peace of mind. I live my life in a way that is deeply rooted in my values and ethics, which is why I have been so passionate about- and loyal to- Subaru for many years now; it's definitely a company I can stand with. Thanks to Brandon, the choice on which Subaru dealership to take my business to was made easy, even before meeting in-person. He is the reason I went to a dealership 36 miles away, rather than the one I have just 6 miles away from home. I truly cannot recommend Brandon enough! I'd also like to note that overall, Olympia Subaru is by far the best Subaru dealership I've had the pleasure of working with, and I've been to quite a few between CA, OR and WA. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with all the good vibes! I got such a kick out of Jesse in finance, such a great sense of humor and actually made the paperwork portion quite fun and as stress-free as humanly possible! If I am ever in the market for another car, I will definitely be returning to Olympia Subaru again-and-again!

Tip of the hat to Senior Banker and Officer Diana Carrillo!…read more I am in the middle of a real estate closing and was having problems getting the title company to recognize my bank account in order to wire the sale proceeds. Explaining things to Diana, she said "I have a simple answer". Within minutes she had it all sorted and the title company was satisfied. Her experience and knowledge really showed. Perhaps that may explain why she is an officer in the bank at her young age (I am 74 so every one is young!). And, I might add, very pleasant to work with. Like old time, home town, banking!!!
