There were 3 people at the front that greeted me, I thought they were 3 tellers but find out later after speaking with the 1 gentleman that the one in the middle was a banker. I was told that it was too late for me to open an account because there were no bankers on sight although there was 1 there, but she didn't open any accounts passed 4:30 according to her. The gentleman then proceeded to tell me that I can return back the next day as long as it's before 5:15 I can be helped. I agreed and returned on 6/23/23 at 4:34pm. This time there was a banker to the right helping a customer, the other "banker" that sat in the middle and 1 young lady to the right of her at the front desk. I was told again that I might not be able to be helped because the one banker to the right was busy and the 1 that sat in the middle doesn't open any accounts passed 4:30 although it was 4:34! The lady I was talking to asked me to have a seat that she will try to reach the banker that was occupied to see if he can help me. Once I sat down the banker walked up to the front desk and told them he is too busy in which he was, they were all talking as if I couldn't hear them and even spoke in Spanish as if I couldn't understand. Eventually, I just became frustrated and told them not to worry I will find another bank. While I walked out, the young lady in the middle sarcastically said to me "Have a nice day!" I could not understand how they would turn away a person trying to open an account out of pure laziness. The experience I went through with this bank in those 2 days really made me glad I didn't open an account with them. Horrible customer service, the unwillingness to work makes you wonder how I would be treated had I opened an account with them. Dodged a huge bullet there. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

I had been expecting her to say "come back next week with an appointment." 20 minutes was fine. It didn't even take that long. Sincerea came and got us just a few minutes later. They take good checks, reject them, misplac them, then take the money out of your account and do not even bother to notify you, then lie and try to balme their incompetence on the other bank. I do not know if they are trying to scam patrons, its just inexcusable incompetence, bad equipment, bad management or what. Regardless, do not depend on this business to handle your money. Update: what I was told after several hours and the last few days of trying to resolve an issue is that they had a system wide issue causing good checks to be rejected with a "bad image" or "duplicate check" error. What have they done about it? This branch denies it and blames it on : -inexperienced staff. -The check having a "stop payment" placed on it (blaming the person who wrote the check). -they tried to claim that the FDIC / FED rejected the checks. Then they deduct the money from your account, tell you to go get a new check and ultimately just continue to inconvenience the victims of their error. It is absolutely inexcusable what they are doing. I have never had to deal with a bigger liar than the manager Antonio. Priscilla is the other manager and she is beyond unreliable. She swore up and down on the phone that she would get to the bottom of this issue but when I visited the bank - she was MIA. Honestly, with all the conflicting information I have heard from multiple representatives I seems to suggest that they have had some major data breach and are trying to keep it quiet. Not surprising though since they apparently only communicate through Microsoft Teams... which is not secure enough platform for healthcare but apparently Credit Union 1 thinks it is secure enough for your private data. If they had been honest from the beginning, and assured us that they are fixing the issue- that would be totally different. Things happen but the lies and subterfuge is absolutely deplorable. Dont trust your money with people much less a bank who is clearly lying to you. They are so incompetent they can not even get their story straight.
