Vanessa Rivera was not educated in the terminology used when speaking on the phone for review. I asked for clarification 3x to her just repeating the same sentence. I tried to rephrase and explain again but was met with the same engagement. read more

I had done minimal research for what this typically would cost and what she quoted me was right where I expected it. She reviewed the contract, was able to check with a tax professional to confirm first, and eventually got us a credit to account for impending prorated tax increases. She was communicative and responsive. The title company decided to change the closing time at the last minute so she couldn't attend but had a fill in attorney who arrived and explained the mountain of paperwork was while we signed it all.

I would not recommend Greater Illinois Title Company. It was one of the worst experiences that I've…read moreever had with a business. For starters, the person I was working with pushy, rude, not helpful with questions, and overall just a difficult to communicate with. It seemed like her only goal was getting me in and out with signed paperwork asap. It was just myself at closing and I had asked her role, the process for the day, and a few questions pertaining to the title company. She was dismissive and told me to talk to my lawyer. I was in her office to go through the paperwork with my lawyer, on speaker phone, and she started making copies/talking to someone on the phone. It was distracting and I couldn't hear my lawyer so I asked if there was a quiet room. She was oblivious and made it seem like I was making a ridiculous request. I was moved to a quiet room which was much better. She kept coming in the room when I was on the phone with my lawyer and would but in and start talking. It was very odd. Near the end of the process, I heard her say to one of the other employees "Is that guy still here?" She had already delivered her final paper work maybe 10 minutes prior while I was on the phone with my loan office working through the esign portion. I was in shock. I called her out and she claimed her tone was not rude (it was). All she had to do was look through the glass door or floor to ceiling glass windows on the conference room to answer her question. The ensuing conversation was her just gaslighting me about her not being rude, me not understanding how a title company works, etc. I ended up leaving to complete the rest of the documents at home. Honestly a wild, traumatic experience. I would absolutely avoid this place if you can.

I called this location for a car title loan. I needed a couple thousand to get me over a small…read morecrisis. The person who answered the phone was pleasant, helpful and walked me through the process pretty fast. They gave me the amount of my loan over the phone, told me the interest rate and also what my payments would be... which I thought was pretty low. Now mind you I didn't need the loan for the amount of time they gave me to pay it but they did not charge me the interest past when I paid it off. I needed to send in some documents which I did and they allowed me to just take a pic of those with my cell phone and send it to them. In about an hour later they told me to come by this store and get my money. Now mind you I expected some dive, but what I saw was a really nice, clean and professional office. The people inside were so helpful. They offered me and my daughter some water when we arrived, walked me through the process of getting the loan and then in a matter of a few minutes I was on the way to the bank to cash the check they gave me which I had zero problems cashing. After that, they gave me online access to my account so I can see exactly what was happening with my payments. Classy and just like a bank and not what I would have expected from a car title loan company in Chicago. I am impressed. Like these guys. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

A special shout-out to Michael Paul, who is always ready to help with familiarity and a friendly conversation. I would highly recommend this agency.

I have never been lied to you by an organization as much as I have by this one. Took several months to find someone that I trusted enough to help me improve my situation. I absolutely didn't trust giving this type of information over the phone (or online, god help me) to who knows what on the other side. When I found Credit Glory, I scheduled a free consult to learn more about how the process worked and how long it would take. Jason was clear and helpful. I didn't feel like I was being sold to, which is, funny enough, what finally sold me. The repair has been more than I hoped for when I picked up the phone. Almost perfect credit as I write this, other than one late payment mark on a credit card I still use. I don't have anyone to refer Jason to, sadly (fortunately?), but hopefully this helps convince someone else to call.
