Once again this shop saved my bacon! The spouse had two encounters where she destroyed two wheel rims on the same wheel. That's bad luck and I finally got that fixed at the tire shop but there was still a shimmy at highway speed. Finally I remembered that I should get the front-end alighment checked out after something like that occurred (the tire shop won't fix it). One Stop Auto took a look and found that the bushings were worn out and needed replacement on the front-end cross-braces to the sub-frame (After all, he car is a 2009 model) . It cost several hundred, but they gave me a discount on the parts. Now it's fixed it up and drives great once again. Furthermore they warned me of a few items that would need service in the next year or so also and told me what symptoms to watch for. These guys are simply the best: they do deep diagnoses on your car, search for good prices on parts and then, once you OK it, do the work very quickly. They're a great example of how an excellent organization is more than the sum of its parts. read more

They are very fair and do quality work and while I already have a mechanic and muffler shop that I love, I'd recommend them for both as well. I first heard of them when my own aforementioned mechanic referred them after he did some suspension work that required an alignment. That went on very smoothly so I decided to take my own car there as well. It turned out that I needed to get some tie rods replaced as is sometimes the case with alignment on older cars but unlike some other places I've been to in the past, they didn't try to upsell a bunch of other things or to get the work done there and nicely explained what needed to be done and gave some recommendation on part brands even so I got the work done at my own mechanic's shop and came back. No charge. Once I finished the work, I came back and did the alignment and everything is running nice and smooth and I am very happy. I should mention that this shop is located in a more working class part of town. Not bad or anything but I can see how someone might think it's a little rough on the edges while driving by but don't let that fool you or intimidate you - they run a tight ship here. When I went there for the first time, it was on a later Friday afternoon and it was chaotic, there was a rude customer in line which the (owner I assume) handled with kindness, and it looked like I was going to be there all day but they got me in fast enough. While I was waiting outside watching them, I started talking to another customer who there for his daughter's car and he was also singing their praises about how fair they were and how all the work he was getting done would have cost a fortune at a dealer or one of those "nice suburban shops" that charge like a dealer. FERNANDOOOOOOOOO!!!! This guy and all the guys at One Stop are the best. The owner, mehhh idk. I've been going to the original one stop off Hillcroft and Bissonnet since 2008 and let me tell you, their service is ALWAYS on par. They do anything from motor swaps to oil changes to alignments to suspension mods to exhaust mods even down to cutting and welding! You need something done? They can get it done for you. And the best part? The prices are the most competitive around town! The reason i started coming to this location is 1) it is much closer and convenient, not to mention the roads are smoother (i drive lowered cars) and 2) Fernando and the employees here are the tits, owner, mehhhh idk. I literally trust no one else to do work on my car but these guys because they bring more experience to this shop than 5 small business' added together. The reason i say that the owner is "meh" is because the guy doesnt smile. I like to smile, i like to make people smile. But smiling at this guy is like smiling to a brick wall, cmon man, YOU MAD BRO? Anyways, Im sure that prices are semi negotiable since ive been charged by the owner several different prices for the same work. So if youve been before, make sure you bring a receipt of the work you did last (oil changes, tire balancing, tire mounting, etc) so the prices dont raise on you if they do at all. Shop is on par, its clean with a nice cool AC enclosed waiting room. They have a TV in which you could maybe suggest a channel for brick face to change to if you get bored watching the soap operas that might be on at the time. I tend to spend my time talking to the mechanics cause they are genuine and down to earth guys. If you want something done a certain way (more camber in the rear for alignment, larger exhaust diameters) just kindly ask them to do it and theyll be more than happy to satisfy you with their quality work. They get busy during the peak hours after people get off work and during the weekends so be sure you manage your time when trying to get work done. Other than that, you should definitely swing by for a quote for some of the work that youre looking to get done! You may be surprised at how much money you can save compared to other shops. The dealer told me my sway bar bushings needed to be replaced, my Toyota only had 20,000 miles at the time and since they're such reliable cars I was a bit skeptical. Caution stay away from this place.. they try to operate as a full service mechanic shop when really their just a muffler and alignment shop... they will screw your car up.. and you will have to come back repository to try to resolve the issue.. and they will keep making excuses and charge you more and more... am so done with this place... I took my car in for repair and repair shop told me I had several issues that could resolve my problem. After replacing several parts and a final bill of $750. I went to pick up my car which they said was ready. The gentleman behind the counter told me I had a bad computer and it was clearly written on the invoice. He went to the back came back and told me my car was good to go. I drove away in my car breaks down with the same identical issue I took it in for. Call the shop and told the manager that the gentleman behind the counter told me that the computer was bad. These guys knew exactly what they were doing they took my money and replace parts that weren't even broken and let me drive away knowing I was going to Break down.My recommendation is find someone else to repair your automobile these guys are nothing short of a joke! read more

I had been looking for a honest and fair price auto repair shop in the Sugar Land area since my mechanic retired two years ago. I had tried several shops but none made me happy. Finally, I found an auto shop that I can trust in One Stop Auto Service. Tony the owner/manager or Alex the head mechanic always immediately check out the problem for free as soon as you bring the vechicle to the shop. They tell you the problem, the estimate time of repair, and the estimate cost to fix without up selling other services. Today was my second visit to the shop and I had the brakes of my daughter's car check out. Alex said the rear brakes needed new pads in about 3 months and the rotors needed to be tuned. The front brakes were fine. He did not pressure me to do the job immediately. I decided to do the job now since my daughter had to drive back to Austin after Thanksgiving. Total cost was $142.00 and it seem fair. There are probably cheaper shops around, but trust and good workmanship are priceless when it comes to auto repair. I went into One Stop Automotive for a 4 wheel alignment on April 26, 2017. when I dropped my vehicle around 1030am, all of the windows were up. I handed the keys to Andres at the front desk with plans to return in about an hour. I returned and paid at 1130am on 4/26/17. when I got into my vehicle, I noticed that the front drivers side window was down, which is not how I left it. I continued to start the car and put the window up............the window would not go up or down. I went back in and told Andres that the window was not operational. he explained that they leave the window down while they are working on it as to not lock the keys in by accident, which I am totally fine with, so I asked him why the window was left down once the work was completed and the car parked outside the work area. he did not have an answer. Andres said he would have a tech look at the window for a fee. I should not have to pay a fee when I left the with One Stop in one condition................... Other than what I paid to have fixed, I want it back in the same condition! My car was left open to the elements as well as thieves. It was the responsibility of the tech who completed the alignment to note and disclose this so I could be notified. this was not done, and my window should be repaired. read more

Gross negligence on behalf of the owner. Paid a pretty high price for a synthetic oil change of $75. Requested 5w-30 Mobil1 synthetic oil. Mechanic put in 0w-20. Even wrote it on the windshield sticker for the return service date in 6 months. Called and told him he messed up, refused that I told him specifically for 5w-30. Called mechanic and mechanic confirmed that he did not put 0w-20 in. Told him that he was wrong and he said to come tomorrow to get my oil change re-done with the correct requested oil. Tomorrow comes and he tells me his mechanic confirmed that he put in 5w-30 when yesterday he was telling a different story. Would not refund or make it right. read more

Absolutely did not get original repair done and ended up with another problem to deal with instead. Payed quite a lot of bucks for not having the work actually done. Other customers came in with similar complaint after initial work was done. Same as me, check engine light comes on and had not ever done so before. Then one of the mechanics tried to calm my frustration by telling me how pretty he thought I was. Not good. My husband had to ultimately do repair work instead. Wasted nearly a grand on work not done and other problems added to that. read more
