ONE Steakhouse was one of the highlights of our Vegas weekend. We had a group of six and everything was excellent from start to finish. The steaks were cooked perfectly with an incredible 1200 degree sear. The shrimp risotto and baked short rib rigatoni were fantastic, and even the chopped salad and Caesar salad were excellent. Honestly, everything we tried on the menu was good. Great cocktails, excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. Arrived to dinner reservation for anniversary with my bf and were seated right away. Server was nice and gave good recommendations. Calamari was delicious and sauces were tasty (coming from someone who doesn't like calamari). Potatoes gratin were delicious and shareable. Bf got a thick ny strip steak and I got a ribeye, both cooked perfectly. Mine was only slightly a little over salted but we both finished our plates. I went there last night meeting a friend from out of town. The ambiance was lovely and the service was very good. The server told us that there was a 65.00 set menu that included salad, baked potato and a skirt steak with dessert. We both thought that was a great deal to selected this recommendation. The salad was delicious, the baked potato also was excellent but I couldn't chew the skirt steak because it was so tough. Why would a steakhouse put this on their menu? I have had a skirt steak at other steakhouses and it was tender with good flavor. I asked for it to be rare but came out well done and obviously it was not tenderized and marinated. I live in Las Vegas but would not recommend this steakhouse since there are so many options in this city. Desert that came with the meal was semi frozen. We came here for a family dinner out and sat at the bar with our favorite bartender, Johnny! Service is always quick and friendly and not too loud, so you can have a conversation with your table. I ordered the baked short rib rigatoni and loved it! It has a nice spicy mild tomato sauce and I like that they added a protein to the dish, short rib was a good choice. It was super flavorful! My boyfriend got the ribeye. It was good but needed more salt and was a bit leaner than what we are used to for a ribeye. Thankfully, the servers brought out some salt and pepper without us asking. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals and I heard the crab legs are really good here. We got to try and share the triple chocolate truffle cake and the banana foster. I unfortunately couldn't get a picture of the banana foster dessert because we took a bite before we took photos, but it was delicious and the group favorite, highly recommend it! read more

3.75 stars rounded up. Deciding between three & four stars was difficult. One Steakhouse was short staffed when we visited & delays in ordering & receiving dishes drastically prolonged dinner. That, on top of appetizers & sides that didn't make the grade (think: greasy potato gratin, chain-restaurant quality shrimp scampi, & thick-cut bacon that doesn't hold a candle to others we've tried), reduce the likelihood of a return visit. However, One Steakhouse's saving grace are their steaks; heated to 1200°, they develop the most incredible crust. My 6oz Filet Mignon ($58) had the best textural contrast of tender & juicy on the inside with that crisped-up, flavorsome exterior. My bf also enjoyed his order -- Wagyu Tri-Tip, moderately priced at $45 & possessed a distinctive rich wagyu taste, as well as a properly-cooked Lobster Tail for $35. (Sidenote: the tough lobster tail from Golden Steer lives rent-free in his head.) Pros & cons are neck & neck, but ultimately, One Steakhouse came through with steaks & a lobster tail that can compete with our favorite Vegas spots, & for that, they deserve the upgraded rating. Not white-table-cloth fancy, but a nice, dimly-lit place for dinner. And unlike some exorbitant Vegas steakhouses, One leaves you with some gambling money for later. read more

Just recently started playing Virgin casinos due to the reward card changing for the better...they gave me a 25 dollar food credit with our stay and since we have tried almost all the restaurants, we decided to give this a whirl. Not really feeling steak, we browsed the menu and found some items to our liking. The restaurant itself is very pretty inside, but still a little close to the casino. We were the only ones in there at 5pm so it seemed like a private dining experience...more patrons came in around 6pm. We looked at the wine menu and picked out a bottle of Sauvignon blanc. It was good and matched our choices well. I got the scallops and hub got the Short rib pasta. He had looked at pictures online, and thought this was smaller, but they turned it into an entree now and it was quite big. We also got a side of gnocchi with peppercorn sauce. The scallops were amazing..I wish they had not put the bacon there...it did not need it, and the cauliflower purée they mentioned and hoped for was barely there. Hub liked his pasta a lot...just very big. The gnocchi was good too. I might be back to try a steak when in the mood...like I said...very pretty restaurant. Service was amazing as well. read more

One Steakhouse offers a polished, intimate setting and solid service, but overall it didn't quite live up to the hype--especially compared to other steakhouses around the Strip. My steak (pictured) was nicely presented and cooked well, but the flavors didn't really stand out. While everything was executed properly, nothing felt especially memorable or unique, and the dish didn't quite justify the price point when you compare it to top-tier Vegas steakhouses nearby. Service was professional and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant for a quieter night out. Cocktails were decent, though again, nothing that really wowed. Overall, it is perfectly fine if you're staying nearby or want a low-key steakhouse experience, but with so many exceptional options in Las Vegas, this wouldn't be my first choice. There are so many good steakhouses in Las Vegas, unfortunately this isn't one of them. The service and live music were great! That was the highlight. But the food was not worth the money. We ordered the ribeye, scallops, lobster Mac, and bananas foster cheesecake. The ribeye was disappointing. It was tough, somewhat dry, and I needed to add salt on it. For $80, definitely not worth it. The scallops were not fresh. There was a fishy taste to them! I've honestly never had worse scallops. The lobster Mac was ok, but did not stand out. But even then, the lobster itself was not good quality and was also dry. The bananas foster cheesecake was ok, but they put popcorn on top, which was weird and stale, so we just took them off. Wouldn't recommend. There are tons of other steakhouses worth trying and checking out. read more

The one steakhouse is located in the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas. We came without a reservation and were sat immediately which was nice. It was a Monday so that also helped. For food we ordered the salmon, ribeye, lobster Mac and cheese, asparagus, lobster tail, and chocolate cake. The lobster Mac was really good and so was the salmon! The chocolate cake was so disappointing thought. Our waitress mentioned it was one of their most popular desserts however I truly am not sure how. We visited on Father's Day and were extremely disappointed, especially considering it is a steakhouse. The bread arrived hard and stale, the steaks were filled with excessive fat, and overall the food was very bland and lacked flavor. For a steakhouse at this price point, we expected a much higher quality meal. The service was also frustrating. The servers were polite, but they would disappear for 20-30 minutes at a time, making it difficult to get refills, ask questions, or request anything we needed. Dirty plates sat on the table for much longer than they should have, and the entire dining experience felt disorganized and neglected. There were not a lot of people there, so it was not because they were busy. Both the food and service did not come close to justifying the cost. We chose this restaurant to celebrate Father's Day and left wishing we had gone elsewhere. read more

I'm not sure why. I don't do or say anything to cause problems. The server wasn't so nice, unfriendly. Gave much better, personable care to the other guests. Ended my meal with the check dropped off at my table half way through my dessert (a first in over 100 meals in Las Vegas), processed the payment and brought back the card/receipt without saying anything at all. Our waitress, the receipt says "Mo", but I don't really know because she never introduced herself and we only saw her twice. She should get a new career because she was clearly miserable and doesn't like her job. Don't order the side of gnocchi, just no. The salmon and steak were decent though. One is conveniently located in the Virgin hotel which made our decision to try this restaurant out a no brainer. The decor, pianist and colorful glass structures, dangling from the ceiling, immediately caught my eye upon entering. The hostess was prompt in her greeting and seating us which was appreciated. After being seated, the waiter brought out the menu and provided us with recommendations. I started with a lychee martini for my drink of choice and we were given complimentary bread rolls. While waiting on our food, we enjoyed listening to the live music and singer. For our entrées, we ordered the Fennel Salmon Crusted Salmon, Brussels Sprouts, and the One Steak Burger. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The lobster butter on the salmon was chef's kiss! I mean.. I'm still thinking about that entrée very delicious. My significant other's burger was nice in size and full of meat! This is a place you should definitely check out. The bar was packed and everyone was enjoying themselves. My husband took me here for our 5 year wedding anniversary and it was a lovely experience. We were sat in a corner booth in the back room which definitely made it feel more romantic. I really loved the ambiance with dark walls, low lighting, and quirky art. We each had 2 alcoholic beverages. 3 cocktails & a glass of wine; all of which was delicious and priced a little more reasonably than steakhouses on the strip. For food, we started out with the heirloom tomato & burrata salad. Not only was this enjoyable to eat, but we appreciated that they split the salad onto 2 separate plates for easier eating; the portion size was also fairly large. For our entrée we shared the Double Porterhouse with Yukon mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts as our sides. The porterhouse was so flavorful and tender and the Yukon mashed potatoes are some of the best we've had. We then ended with the vanilla créme brûlée which was subtle in sweetness which we appreciated. Everything truly tasted so wonderful. I'd give this experience 5 stars, but the service was just okay. Our waiter started off fantastically, but towards the end he wasn't as friendly or attentive (not sure if something happened in the kitchen or with another table, but it was odd his demeanor kind of changed). Also, although it is never ever expected, this is the first steakhouse & nice restaurant we've been to in Las Vegas that did not acknowledge our anniversary. We go to a different steakhouse every year for our anniversary and celebrate birthdays & other occasions at higher end restaurants throughout the valley each year and each place always helps us celebrate with a complimentary champagne toast or dessert. Not that we're looking for a freebie, but this little touch truly increases the experience while celebrating. Just odd that this was the only place we've been that did not help us celebrate. I was staying at the Virgin Hotel and was looking for a place to enjoy a. I had a craving for a steak dinner and One was located right inside of the Casino right off the hotel lobby. Didn't have to wait very long to be seated. The restaurant looks amazing. I would rate it on the high end scale. Great for a fancy dinner while on vacation. You can still hear and see the casino floor from most of the restaurant. Got my meal I had the bone in rib-eye. It was cooked to order. I always like my steak medium and it was made with the seared outside and pink center. For my side I had the Brussel sprout. They had a sweat soy glaze on them for a savory flavor. Both were delicious. Nice and fresh. The group liked the lobster and oysters too. It's beautiful, the service is exceptional....so what's missing? The food. For the price, the food was so average or below that it's easy to walk away like you've been bamboozled. I would describe each dish ordered in more detail, but everything was mediocre. We are dealing with horrible inflation, sky-high gas prices, and consistently rising interest rates. The last thing I want to do is walk into an expensive restaurant and end up with TGIF quality food. I wanted my money back and I wasn't the one who paid! *** This review is for the Restaurant Week 2023 menu *** I wanted to try One to see how it compared with the steakhouse that was here when it was Hard Rock. The room is more like a lounge than a steakhouse. All the table were round--some high top, some regular--with very heavy chairs. The lighting is dark. Usually I don't like TVs in fine dining restaurants. I made an exception last night for One because I wanted to watch what turned out to be the final game in the Stanley Cup series. A server brought me the iced tea i asked for and then took my order. I went with the classic onion soup, steak frites, and triple choclate truffle cake. I was first brought a container of rolls and some soft butter. Shortly, the onion soup came. It was excellent. The broth was strong and it had the classic French bread covered with gruyere cheese. It was difficult to eat as you almost need scissors to cut the strings of cheese. Then came the steak frites. It's a 10 ounce hanger steak with shoestring fries, and a wonderful peppercorn brandy reduction. I generally like my steak plaimn, but this sauce was really a good topping for the steak. There was no choice for dessert and my server asked if I wanted it. I asked for a few minutes wait as I was into the hockey game and I wanted more space between courses. When it was brought, it was chocolate heaven. It's a soft truffle top with a chocolate cake below. On top there are some thin pieces of chocolate and fresh strawberries. It was an excellent way to end dinner. Close to the Harmon parking garage entrance at the Ruby Tower, it;'s very convenient. I'm glad I made this choice. read more

Great service, awesome environment! We stayed at the Virgin and decided to eat here and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious we ordered the chopped salad one of the best salads we have ever tried. Also got the ribeye and potato gnocchi everything was cooked to perfection. The waiter Bernie was friendly and funny. They had a piano singer as well she really set the scene with her beautiful voice and song choices.
