I can't say enough good things about the owner of this company and his techs. They were right there…read morewhen I had a time crunch on closing a house and a last-minute issue in the ductwork caused by a crawl space mold-abatement project by a different contractor. They checked it out and took care of it, at some cost to their schedule, I"m sure. I was able to close on time, thanks to them! Throughout the process they kept me informed of both the cost and the progress, and the costs were very reasonable. Finally, their accounting and notification systems are amazing. I received an email about what the tech was going out to look at, based on my explanation of the problem before he got there. When the tech went to the truck after his work, I got an email with the analysis and the bill, which I could pay online right then, or later if I wished. The whole process worked not just like clockwork, but like a very expensive Swiss watch. Or a lunar landing. And, they were pleasant, forthcoming about what was likely wrong, and also frank about what they couldn't say until they saw the problem. They treated me as if I had a brain and was likely able to understand what they told me. They believed what I said. All in all, this was a great experience, with great people of great integrity, a great notification and billing system, and, of course, they fixed the problem. I had used TNT before for a general maintenance call, mainly because I love their logo. They were great then, too. Communication is poor , there were disputes over billing and even after the owner agreed that I'm entitled. For a refund it took months to get it and the billing person was extremely rude every time I spoke to her . I think her name is Sharon . Suffice to say that I stopped using the services if this company about a year ago because even their great technician Chris who serviced my unit and he was the only reason i stayed with this company this long , even he couldn't make up for all the issues that I had with this company . This past Monday, when I stepped into my living room from my bedroom which has a separate heater, I…read morenoticed that it was very cold and I also noticed that the thermostat screen on the wall was totally dark and did not have the usual numeric display. It was 19 degrees outside and didn't seem to be much warmer inside the house either. The owner of my house has a regular maintenance contract with Beck Cohen and they had just installed a brand-new HVAC system this past summer so I called them immediately. They were very busy with weather related issues for multiple HVAC customers but they told me that they would have a technician come out ASAP to try to fix the problem and to get some heat going in the house. Their technician, JUSTIN BAIN, was working at another location but arrived at my house in less than an hour from the time of my original call. He immediately found the problem with the HVAC system and quickly fixed it so the house began to warm up quickly. Ironically, the system here was scheduled for its semi-annual maintenance check on the very next day so JUSTIN stayed for nearly 3 hours completing that check while he was here so that he could check for and correct any other possible problems with the system. In the past 6 months, I have had two HVAC issues which were significant since both happened during periods of very inclement weather, both heat and cold. The first was this past summer when the old HVAC system totally crashed during a 95-degree heat wave and Beck Cohen expeditiously replaced the entire system within just a few days. And the second incident being the minor issue that occurred this past Monday which JUSTIN quickly fixed on that very cold day. Beck Cohen has both EXCELLENT Customer Service and technical HVAC expertise and service which I value because I've had some unpleasant experiences with other HVAC companies in the past so I'm very happy and relieved that I can always rely on Beck Cohen for quick and effective service!! April 1, 2026, I requested service for our upstairs Heat/A/C unit which would not turn on. This…read moreunit was purchased from Robertson's Electric 8 months ago. I called and An appointment was scheduled, promptly, for the next day. Our service technician was Leo, who was very courteous and knowledgeable. He performed a diagnostic check on the unit and after a short period of time, had it performing perfectly again. He took photos to show the problem to be a loose connection, most likely from the manufacturer. The upstairs is now cool again. I really appreciated Leo's kindness and explanation of the problem! I am grateful for his expertise and will recommend Robertson's and Leo to anyone needing expert service for their heating and A/C needs!
