Fortunately, I found another PT place in the same neighborhood and spoke to a much more pleasant and professional receptionist on the phone, so I won't have to worry about seeing whoever I spoke to at Ocean again.

Here in Pennsylvania, they will add new charges for things like hot and cold packs, which were supposed to already be included in your service and paid for by insurance. Then, once your insurance company denies these charges, your case is basically held in suspended air for months, where you are unable to close out your account and pay off any of your bills. Any inquiries about your account then triggers a whole new process, where Pennsylvania resubmits all of your claims again for review by your insurance. Meanwhile the local office here is helpless, so are you, and the local manager does not respond to a request to talk. Good luck dealing with all this.

My initial thought was to do some stretches hoping to alleviate the soreness, but it kept getting worse. After a very uncomfortable weekend and my condition that was not getting better, I decided to give Dr Joe a visit. He did some adjustments and helped educate me on the stretches I should have been doing and explained the stretches I did do may have actually made my condition worse. None the less, Dr Joe worked his magic, performed some adjustments that gave me almost instant relief, then taught me the correct stretches to do moving forward. When I booked my first appointment, all they were concerned about was getting me on the books for 8 appointments, and completely unconcerned about whether they were necessary or not. After several treatments of "pull on this rubber band", I had enough of the layering of services to jack up the price and not being able to know what I was being charged for until months later. James is nice enough and knows his stuff, and the PT staff are amicable, but like other reviewers have mentioned, the billing here is a mess. The office staff is incredibly incompetent and I actually had to stop the exquisitely dumb receptionist mid-sentence from reading all of my personal, financial, and credit information to the entire waiting room and PT office. This is totally unacceptable practice and I definitely won't be back.

Came here and they literally tossed a clip board at me to fill out the forms. Every time I talk to them they don't know what they are talking about such as scheduling and are rude about it. The rooms and equipment are not cleaned after use or treatments. You see them asking patients move from one machine to another but never see anyone cleaning it before or after. In the evaluation rooms, there are no paper lining the tables but they tell patients to lie on them and never see anyone wipe before of after. Even the tables only have air fresheners and no cleaners. The only reason for the amount of stars that they are getting is because Dan knows his stuff. Thought I was never going to go back after the 1st visit but Dan brought attention to a lot of things my doctors failed.
