He took the time to thoroughly identify the issue, explain everything clearly (didn't even get annoyed at my 1000 questions), and had no hidden fees or agenda. Our main house water shut-off valve needed to be replaced, and Refuge was able to squeeze us into his schedule within days. His pricing was very reasonable, especially considering responsiveness we received. Refuge Plumbing may be a newer business, but Michael is definitely not new to plumbing. This is my mom's vacation home and she is used to my dad being able to do all repairs. After losing him she has been putting off repairs because she's afraid of shoddy work and getting ripped off.... This was the first repair my mom was comfortable with and we'll absolutely be calling them again the next time we're in town to help tackle a few other projects on this older house.

These guys are the best! If you need quality service or have a hard job, call Davidson. In our…read morecase, we'd had some heating guys out to try to fix our boiler. They had no idea. They were climbing under the house trying to find a clogged filter (that doesn't exist). Lee Davidson came out, did diagnostics, found the clogs and did the repairs efficiently and skillfully. Then I found out that he had actually installed it years earlier. So if you have a boiler, don't call a plumber or a heating company, call Davidson (they're both), that's my advice. He also came out at night and made sure we didn't have to sleep in the cold.

Five stars from me! I sent out a Yelp request for plumbing…read moreproblems in Apache Junction. Water was creeping out from under my park model home. Ivan, with AZ Desert Plumbing, was the first to respond and I checked out his website and the Better Business Bureau website. No complaints noted so I called them and made a no-cost appointment. Ivan arrived on time, ready to work on an older (20 year old) park model, permanently set on a foundation. He approached the problem from every accessible entrance (3) to the plumbing, to include using a snaked camera when it was determined that it wasn't accessible in person. He found the leak in the wastewater line and documented it on film. He was willing to decline the job, at no cost for the diagnosis, and refer the job to someone who might be a tiny gymnast. But, he also agreed to gain access through the vinyl siding and plywood sheathing, to which I agreed. Ivan methodically removed the siding and cut an access panel through the sheathing to access the waste pipe. The failed section was removed and replaced quickly and tested, with no leaks. Ivan had given me a quote for the job with the caveat that I would reassemble the removed wood and siding. He did quality work as I looked over his shoulder and explained everything he was doing. When his job was done, I had intact plumbing. And, after the agreed upon job, he went the extra mile and put everything back together, to include using his own parts.
