She has been a breath of fresh air to the whole team- they are all noticeably more friendly and pumped to be there- I don't take a ton of classes but got in with one of Aaron's today and it was so fun... I was intimidated to try to sauna and steam room for the first couple of months because it's coed, but it's really no big deal. I DO wish they had actual tanning booths like the site claims- not just red light therapy. These are different types of machines and I do feel that was misleading. And on the site it does say there are pools and hot tubs but my location does not have either which is a bummer. The locker rooms are almost always spotless and the showers are nice and large, though water pressure is lacking. I just scheduled my pt appt and I look forward to that session! There is great turf space for functional strength training and there are always enough weights to go around if you just look- I love the inferred yoga classes too! I've taken a couple of the dance classes and a bunch of the studio red HIIT classes and will continue to... All in all, this gym is absolutely amazing-- if it had a hybrid uv/red light therapy tanning booth I'd be so thrilled!

Jim, the owner and my trainer has been cool and flexible with my schedule and has provided just the right amount of motivation without making things unpleasant. The price is a bit expensive, but you are paying for good equipment in a convenient location, and one-on-one time with a professional. When I am there, the gym is not crowded and the music has been good. Try it out - as far as I know, the $100 for 8 1 hour personal training sessions is still going.

You can tell business is good when you rarely see a trainer solo. Instead they are working with clients, training away. I do find it strange that the GM trains some people as he's taking away from his other trainers. The folks at the Cafe are wonderful and friendly as well. Let's not forget about the workers at the Daycare! Doreen, Wilma and their crew all work their tail off taking care of the babies, toddlers and kids. God bless em. The guidance and tips from trainers Goran & Mia absolutely improved my somewhat marginal positioning during various exercises. And they constantly watch out for people so they don't overdo. But be clear, if they know you can do a few more reps, they will cheer you on to squeeze a few more in. Goran says once it starts to feel like you are getting tired from the reps, try to do 5 more because those last 5 are the ones that really count to tax your muscles so they will strengthen. Everyone is encouraging and kind and truly wants to see you improve and get stronger. And in my first several weeks of going (1 hr 3x week), I meet some wonderful people who have been going to Premier Fitness for many years, even decades! That should tell you something right there!

In February my father had a hip replacement, and about 5 weeks ago in September he had a full knee replacement on the opposite leg. He is an avid cyclist, and in good shape (thanks to Donny), but he is now also 74 years old. With the support of this trainer, who works specifically with seniors or nearing that stage in life (though he is still incredible with others like me too!!!) Dad is back on the road 5 weeks post op, riding his bike, and more (should I mention he was on the roof, or driving 3 weeks sooner than he should have been?) Seriously folks, if it were not for Donny's guidance, Dad would never have been able to get through this as well as he has, and in all honesty...he probably would have had to have the surgeries sooner, and also backed off of a sport he is passionate about.
