BEST CROSSFIT AND OLY GYM ON NORTHSHORE! Hands down do not waste ur time going to another box these guys have it all. I'm visiting from CALI and was very nervous about finding a good box out here that also supported OLY training. I've been doing XFIT consistently for almost a year now and have been doing OLY for a few months. I needed a well oiled and high level coaching facility that wasn't calling itself XFIT but really was a crappy HIIT class. I've had so many crappy experiences outside of two boxes in Cali. Trojan and Paradiso. Anyhoo I showed up on Sunday and Dave one of the coaches welcomed me right in. The gym is a good size w brand new Rogue torture bikes!! They have ample space for Barbell OLY and XFitters. Parking is easy free and lots of spaces. Everyone was super friendly. We discussed my skill level and he created an awesome OLY program for me to do to work on my cleans n snatches!!! In addition Dave wrote multiple WOD's to choose from. He helped me correct my squat positioning for my snatch which helped a lot! I came back the next day and met the owners Josh, Zeus and Aaron. They were all so nice and welcoming and We did the 12 days of xmas WOD. Was awesome. They have been generous w my drop ins! Super Grateful I found performance factory training! I have done CrossFit in a number of different States, and boxes over the past 7 years. And I love the programming and coaching at PFT. I have enjoyed the attention to Form and technique that is insisted on by the coaches. I used to hate Snatches, and I am finally starting to enjoy them as my technique is improving. I have been a member of PFT since the end of 2016 when my old box closed. I absolutely love it! The programming is challenging and has helped me gain skills and strength I didn't think were possible at my age. The coaches truly take the time to get to know you, and will push you to work harder than you ever have before! The transition to home workouts due to COVID-19 has been seamless. They allowed us to borrow equipment, have Zoom classes daily, post daily workouts as well as set up a website with tons of additional programming (even for kids!). To keep the community of the box strong, we have had multiple at-home team competitions, with fun workouts, tasks, and happy hours. If I could give 10 stars I would! read more

If you are looking for a great workout, and a great place to get that workout, I would highly recommend Performance Factory Training for a couple of reasons. One, the workout. The highly functional workout that CrossFit provides is second to none. There is something very satisfying about lifting a heavy weight above your head and letting it crash down to the ground! Two, the coaches. The coaches are both very knowledgeable and supportive of your individual goals and capabilities. They are constantly focused on ensuring that members are using the correct form on every lift. They also work very hard to make accommodations for each individual's abilities and limitations. Whether you are coming to the gym for the first time in your life or you have an injury you want to be careful with, they will work to provide variations in the workout that will still allow you to participate. Three, the people. The environment at PFT is second to none. The people are all friendly and supportive. Whether you are fit enough to qualify for the CrossFit games or can't yet do a single burpee, you will find that you get camaraderie and support from all the other members. And, given the number of PFT get togethers (summer golf outing, Halloween party, baby showers, poker night, etc.) it really does speak to the sense of community this place has developed. read more

When I decided to give this gym a try I expected to be challenged physically. Check. The surprise has been the supportive atmosphere. On one of my first days I got cheers and "you got this" from fellow patrons while I was suffering mightily to eke out my last set of rope climbing exercises. It was hugely appreciated. I am also enjoying learning the Olympic lifts, which I never thought I'd like. Josh and the other instructors have been patient and very demonstrative and encouraging, which goes a long way towards making a newbie welcome. read more

I've been so impressed with how PFT has kept up morale and workouts during this pandemic! They've hosted numerous community challenges and put together a website that hosts a variety of workouts you can do at home. The coaches are all highly knowledgeable about fitness and crossfit. I started crossfit on my own 2 years ago and wanted to refine my Olympic lifts. Head coach Josh designed a strength program that I've been following for a month now. I've seen great improvements on all aspects of my lifts, from my form to the amount of weight I've been able to put overhead. This place is great. I've been coming here since it opened and their approach is spot on. It's not "just" a Crossfit box, it's a lot more. The trainers are excellent, the approach works (including olympic weightlifting, yoga) and I couldn't be happier with my own development under their guidance. From playing other sports, I've had a knee surgery and a couple of other injuries and they've modified my program so that I can continue training. They focus on teaching impeccable form versus trying to lift too much and potentially injury yourself. Great place to workout and certainly a great way to add weight-training into your routine in a non-threatening environment. It's tough to imagine a more enjoyable or effective way to reach new levels of fitness. I have been working out at PFT for the past 1.5 years, after several years of distance running and triathlon, and am undoubtedly in better all-around shape because of the change. Moved here from a long ways away and needed to find another box to call home. Researched and visited three area boxes and this is by far the best around. The coaching, the members, the atmosphere all help you to reach your fitness goals. This is not just a box, though; there are clinics and personal trainers for all types of athletes -not just CrossFit. I was coming off a shoulder surgery and wasn't really sure I'd ever be able to lift anything over my head again. Not that I'll get into it but our insurance carrier cancelled our family policy like so many other in the US so my rehab was cut short as well. After sitting around for a few months and not having heard or read a thing about this place I just walked in and asked if I could/should give it a go. Aaron said no matter what they'd figure something out for me. I started an On The Ramp class and Josh was my coach. He was helpful, supportive and motivating. I'm now 7 months in, stronger and fitter than at any time in my adulthood which included quite a bit of lifting over the years and most important, my shoulder is no longer a concern, On another note, the people who participate at this gym are beyond friendly and supportive. I joined this gym having never done CrossFit before, and the coaches have done an amazing job of teaching me the movements and helping me to scale workouts to be safe but challenging. The community at the gym is a very fun, welcoming, and supportive one. Coaches and members alike have shown a genuine interest in my fitness and development, which has been much more motivating (and fun) than working out alone at a typical gym. The PFT team has been incredible as I started my journey towards improving my health. The coaches have been supportive every step of the way and although I am less than two months into my journey I feel like it's been longer. They are supportive while holding the highest of expectation. During the on ramp introductory sessions I laughed thinking that I would never be able to do any of it.
