I was disappointed to hardly see any peanuts sprinkled on it. I was even more disappointed to see lemon instead of lime. The lime adds to the dish in a way that a lemon does not. The pad Thai was okay. Nothing special although the lime and peanuts brought it down a notch. read more

This is such a cute little Thai restaurant full of warmth and charm. We came as a party of 7 on a Sunday afternoon as soon as it opens. The place is small but they were very inviting and efficiently put together the tables to accommodate my party. We ordered multiple dishes to share, which included the spring roll, fried tofu, fish cakes, chicken wings with sweet chili sauce, glass noodles seafood salad, satay chicken, crab fried rice, massamun curry, and pad Thai. The spring roll, fried tofu and chicken wings were perfectly fried it being too oily. The chicken wings particularly were our favorite given it was crispy on the outside, and moist and juicy on the inside. The satay chicken was also moist but I did find their peanut sauce to be on the sweeter side. The Glass noodle salad was refreshing and flavorful, noodles were also springy. The crab fried rice was topped with large lumps of crab meat. The rice was flavorful with "wok hei" and it is also one of our favorite dish. Their pad Thai was also very good given there was a good balance of flavors, the noodles were springy, and it was just the right amount of sauce. The massamun curry was alright and tasted like the ones from any other restaurant. The staff was very friendly and patient with us as were took our time to decide what to order. Food came out super fast but it wasn't very busy when we were there. One thing to note is that they have a small courtyard at the back for outdoor seating. We sat outside the last time we came as we have our dog with us so we were glad they are also able to accommodate dogs. Overall, we really enjoyed One More Charm and it is one of our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. We would be coming back every time we crave for Thai food. read more

First time here today during the lunch special. A From the outside it seemed small but plenty of seating with patio seating in the back available. AM was our server, she was so friendly and down to earth. She made the experience pleasurable. From the lunch menu i tried the beef tom yum fried rice . It came with the choice of a small app and tossed salad. The salad didn't have the traditional looking or tasting ginger dressing that we love from thai restaurants. However my entree made up for that with its flavor and being served nice and hot. I chose the edamame it was cool. For an appetizer we did an order of the wings they were hot and crispy. I paired my meal with a singha beer. The dishes were a bit higher in price then some thai spots and it's probably because of the proximity of the hospital. I'd come again if near by. This restaurant saved me from hospital cafeteria hell. Located two blocks away from Methodist Hospital this amazing restaurant is a gem. For a span of 2 months I visited this restaurant at least twice a week. Walking in we were greeted with such warm and pleasant smiles from the staff. The tables are equipped with hand sanitizer. We're given the choice of online or regular menu. The food is truly amazing. Here's some of my favs: Chinese Sausage Fried Rice - delicious and filling. The hot sauce on the side took my rice to another level. Wing Zabb - my new favorite way to have wings. The hints of spicy and sour, makes me always wanting another order. Panang Curry with Shrimp- simply delicious, perfect balance of flavors with a good amount of shrimp. Pad Krapraw (Shrimp) - the best way to describe is a deconstructed basil fried rice. So yummy! Did I also mention that they have lunch specials 7 days a week. You can also do order pickup through Yelp. All in all, this restaurant is a great place for a delicious meal. After my first visit here, I would have to argue that they have more than just "one more charm". In fact, this neighborhood thai spot is overflowing with charm. From its warm inviting interior, to the Christmas ornaments dangling from the lights, One More Charm beckons you to enter and relax here however long you'd like. I LOVE that it wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon and that they run lunch specials 7 days a week. Their decor and menu offerings really exude the feeling that they feel proud of what they offer and are committed to showing their customers authentic Thai Food in a cozy environment. We both ordered the lunch specials and a Thai Iced Coffee to share. I got the Beef Pad See Ew and the Chive Pancakes as my appetizer for $16. The Thai Iced Coffee was strong and Sweet. The pancakes came as an order of two pieces with a side salad but they were so amazing, I almost ordered it separately. Chive pancakes have been a longtime favorite of mine but I've never had any that were so cripsy. Your teeth sink through the layers very quickly with a crisp so pronounced it almost makes a sound. The Pad See Ew was a generous portion given the price and was perfect as well. I did find the flavor to be more one dimensional and sweet compared to others but it was delicious! Salad was just lettuce with a little bit of dressing but everything else was so flavorful and satisfying. We sat outside. And I really appreciate the waitress allowing us to do so. No one else was so she made special trips outside for us. The back yard is very nice, spacious and there is even a wooden hut with tables that have heat lamps. It was cozy and nice in there. It was a very nice environment to catch up with a friend. I really liked the spring roll. Perfectly fried and crispy. The tamarind chicken was also lightly fried perfectly and served with lots of veggies and a sweet tamarind sauce. I ordered sticky rice but got white rice, waitress checked in on us and quickly brought the sticky rice over and I don't even think she charged the extra $2 for it which was nice. She was really friendly and nice. The Thai iced tea was one of the best I had. It had a really good flavor and not too sweet. I will definitely come back again. The papaya salad and Tom yum were delicious, the pad Thai was moist and flavorful. The only dish that could have been better was the pad se ew. It only had one note or sweet soy sauce. I added fish sauce and the taste improved, although I had to ask several times for it. I would give that one a miss, but do get the pad Thai! read more

Came here on a Friday afternoon with my husband and three month old daughter. We were in the mood for Thai food and this popped up on our search so we decided to try it. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess and were seated right away. The ambiance is clean and modern and it was not crowded or loud which was perfect for our daughter. I liked that you needed the QR code for the menu and to pay. The drinks were delicious my husband had the Butterfly Fiz drink and I had the Passion Fruit Summer fruit tea, both very refreshing. For appetizers we had the chicken wings, and spring rolls, the wings were crispy and seasoned well. For dinner we had the Panama curry and drunken noodles both were tasty and very good. I loved the fact that the staff was very accommodating and kind to our baby they even offered to turn down the air because she was a bit cold. My friend and I came to One More Charm on a Monday around 5:30pm. I picked it for my birthday dinner because of the rave reviews. I then returned the following day for lunch around 1pm with another friend who was craving Thai. The interior is small, but it is well decorated and the ambiance is classy. For dinner, I got the massaman curry with chicken ($16), and my friend got the pad se-ew with pork ($16). Everything was flavored well, and the curry had a good serving of chicken. For lunch the following day, my friend and I got the lunch specials of pad thai and pad se-ew with chicken ($14.95/each). The lunch special comes with a salad with a ginger dressing and an appetizer. I highly recommend the chive pancake, it was VERY tasty! I took off a star because the chicken in my pad se-ew was dry, and the pad thai did not have a good balance between noodles and other stuff, as it was noodle heavy. The sauce on the pad thai was lacking something, but I cannot put my finger on it. Service was excellent for both lunch and dinner, but was definitely better during lunch. We had multiple check-backs and our waters were consistently refilled. Overall, I enjoy the food here and can see myself being a regular. This is a really cute/hip place that has a very nice interior and cozy atmosphere. I've ordered from here for delivery but also dined in. The food is presented very nicely in person, but even delivery is packaged well. The pad see ew was really savoury and the noodles were very chewy. The texture is just right and has a good ratio of noodles to protein/eggs/vegetables. Out of the curries, I've had only the green curry so far which I like a lot. It's spicy and sweet/savory. Won't say there's anything that stands out super from it but it's still pretty good. The curry puff is really flaky and has a good flavor - the puff pastry is a little thicker than I would like (so more dough than actual curry stuffing) - but I wish there will more stuffing and less dough! The roti masala is different from other ones I've had before - the description says puff pastry and it really is much of a puff pastry than the standard layery like doughy roti. But regardless, the taste is still good and the curry is delicious. I'm sad they got rid of the bubble tea card promos (buy 9 get 10th free) - I used to buy their bubble teas more before but now I somewhat limit the bubble tea to when my mood really craves for bubble tea. But all their bubble teas are really good - the BBC is the classic one and comes with bubbles. The other ones without milk taste like different flavored iced teas. I must admit, I'm a little disappointed they no longer have boba pearls for the teas, but that's me being nit-picky. Lunch here is delightfully delicious. Food here isn't fussy, it hits straight to the point, but slaps every time. On this particular visit, we ordered the brown sugar tea & the butterfly pea latte (just tasted like sweet milk) for our beverages. Since we got the lunch special, comes with an app (there are 3-4 to choose from) and we went with the scallion pancake. For our entrees, my husband ordered the crispy duck pineapple fried rice (delicious but the duck was slightly dry), and I ordered the mock duck pad kea moa (truly perfect). That's usually not an option at other Thai places, but it's super delicious. The texture of mock duck is a bit chewy. The salad was a bit vinegary to my liking and the chive pancakes were delicious. My friend had the chive pancakes for the first time and she loved it. It doesn't taste bitter or like vegetables. They have an outdoor backyard seating area but it looks a bit different and smaller compared to the Yelp pictures. Photos looked really cute. Came on Halloween day and it seemed to be really busy, but mostly for take out and Uber eats orders. It took awhile for our water to come and for server to take our order. After ordering, it also took a long time for the food to come. I ordered the curry noodle and it was inedible for me. Mainly because there was a substantial amount of coconut taste in there. The coconut is so sickening I really couldn't finish the dish. I was pretty disappointed since I was starving and I was only able to eat a few bites. I also ordered the butterfly pea lemon spritz but was also disappointed to find out that it had a lot of sugar in there. It would have been more refreshing for them to do this without sugar.
