Everyone got along fine and we were all set to board our pups when my wife took ill and couldn't make the trip. I went without her and she was home with our dogs. Flash forward to December. We went to Las Vegas for 3 nights and left Tango and Jack with Mike and Beth. Communication was good and Mike sent us emails with photos and even a short video. The dogs are our "babies" and although we missed them very much, it did a lot to ease our minds about the care they were receiving while we were gone. I can highly recommend Mike and Beth of Howling Good Dog Boarding to anyone who needs to board a fuzzy family member. Mike was great about sending me video & picture updates while we were on our trip. He's very knowledgeable about dogs, answered all my questions and my dog, Ozzie left happy and worn out! I felt MUCH better about leaving my best buddy in Mike's hands than at a big boarding facility where there's SO many dogs, so much potential for accidents, and not personalized to your dog. Mike is also insured (for peace of mind) and understands that dogs have quirks (mine has food allergies & separation anxiety). I'd give him 10 stars, if I could! We will be back!

After a few weeks we went in for a wellness check & for them to take his stitches out. Again... we thought everything was good. They charge for unnecessary things on the bill which was whatever. We just wanted to make sure our dog was taken care of no matter the cost but they seem to use that against you. We noticed there was a stitch left in so we quickly take him back up there in hopes they would get them all out this time.. Flash forward a few weeks of him "no longer having stitches" and we see there's a few still in there... we're a bit upset that they missed them especially since it's practically healed now & we took him up a 2nd time to get them out. So we call and say they missed a few & she quickly cuts us off and say "this happens sometimes" ... I'm sorry this what? It shouldn't happen at all. Sounds like negligence & bad vet techs trying to work quickly to get more $$$ out of us. Seems like they can only handle small incidents with your animals. If it's something serious maybe go somewhere else. If you like mistakes, having to take your pet up multiple times, or like spending LOTS of money come here !! We sure don't so we'll be taking our business elsewhere. *we did take him to the kirkwood location one time in between visits at Manchester & kirkwood gave us a better experience just that one time than Manchester has this entire time. They're nicer & kirkwood will actually listen to you instead of cutting you off as you speak*

It was a Sunday night and I was leaving the early the following morning and the kennel would not take my dog. THANKFULLY Fox Creek was OPEN and could get him in! It was such a relief. The staff was kind and welcoming to us. Highly recommend them if you need animal care. BTW, in case this ever happens to you, 24-hour emergency animal hospitals don't provide vaccinations. So many lessons learned and prayers answered!

I just want to start off by saying that I am pretty disappointed in the staff and owner. We have been bringing him here since August of 2022. I know he was first in the Toy box room and has transitioned to the Gym room now. It seems like he started doing this when he was placed in the bigger room with the bigger dogs. But honestly, I don't know because no one communicated to me that he was doing this. We started to notice it when we picked him up and his feet were wet. Everyone at the front desk just acted like it was no big deal. So fast forward to March of 2023 and I sent an email to you all about why Oakley was being put in "timeout." Well turns out that the digging/playing in the water bowl is still happening and is getting worse. So you all ask about instating your three step process and I give you permission to do so. "We can also instate our three step process, where after the first incident we have them sit at our feet for 30 seconds, then after the second incident we walk them on a slip lead , and if it happens again THEN he would get the crate break." I have watched/recorded the webcams and the three step process is not a thing. All of the canine coaches are just done with my dog and he gets put in the crate immediately. Also, can someone explain to me why some of these canine coaches walk around the room with two metal bowls and bang them together? Or run a metal bowl across the top of the crate? I don't understand that and it doesn't seem like something a lot of dogs would like. So here we are today May 10, 2023 and I get a text message that "Oakley is taking an extended break right now" and "It seems like a game to him and we have used all the corrections & redirections that we are able to in this environment." I was told to call and basically was told that myself and Oakley should look elsewhere. So that is what we will do. I understand the annoyance of him digging/playing in the water bowl, but I don't see any real problem with it. He is a one year old puppy. We did 2 weeks of training at this facility and 8 weeks to prepare for his Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Citizen Advance test, which he passed. Kit and Alex the trainers are awesome. He is not a bad dog. He just loves water! The bottom line is all of the canine coaches got tired of my dog. He was punished by being put in the crate any where between 10-40 minutes all because he was digging/playing in the water bowl. We were paying to have our dog socialized and he was not. If we wanted him to be in a crate all day, then we would have just kept him at home. It's just a shame that there was a lack of communication and broken promises. I wish the owner would have responded to my email, but here I am posting a Google Review that I am sure he will respond too. I hope you are able to find staff members that truly are dog people and care for them as if they were their own. I attached photos of bowls being banged together and Oakley always in the crate. P.S.
