I recently purchased equipment from the store, and when I needed help with an issue, the new owner redirected me to the manufacturer instead of attempting to troubleshoot or assist. His staff also gave me the runaround rather than trying to resolve the problem. I ultimately had to call someone else to fix it. If you're buying equipment here and are told it comes with warranty and support, be aware that the level of service is no longer what Tav and Frank once offered. Unfortunately, I would not trust this pool store anymore, and there are plenty of reputable pool companies in the Durham area that still value their customers.

Of course there were some bumps but that is what has lead me to write this review. The customer service. In a time where there is almost no customer service or care/concern for the customer, Waterworld, from the friendly faces you see every day getting water samples or buying chemicals for your hot tubs and pools to installers and all the way to the ownership (which have always been willing to get involved with anything required) and let's not forget sale, it has been an absolute pleasure to deal with all of them and continue to purchase chemicals, have pool openings and closings and God forbid when something requires repair or replacement, they have ALL gone above and far beyond what can be expected of any business. Especially when it seems like most businesses cannot be bothered to correct an issue or simply assist a customer with a concern or need. So I give Waterworld 10 stars out of 5. Extremely friendly, more than happy to assist with any need or request and the ownership has always been willing to get involved when required or requested. Cheryl, Katie, Anna, Jane, Chris, Gerry, Andrew, Garret and so many more. thank you for being who you are as individuals and as a business family. I cannot say enough positive about this business and its employees and owners.
