But we love the area! The asian market right across the street has helped me with last minute dinners on more than one occasion. The team at CitySouth is solid and consistent. Victor and Melissa are always responsive via email or if I need to make an appointment. When my husband and I were thinking about moving, Victor gave us all the options available. After looking at other apartments for months comparing cost, we decided to stay and move into a less costly apartment that's the same size. Moving apartments was also pretty easy. With COVID-19 guidelines move-out/move-in was contactless and quick. I was totally confused about our deposit and what to do but Melissa explained everything. We had a few issues in the new apartment. But the facilities team got right on it. The whole staff really helped our family make moving as easy as they could.

Zero stars. Please, be careful with this company and all the apartment buildings they own for rent…read more I moved in September 2024 and stayed for 16 months. I had just moved to Bay Area brand new and rushed to get an apartment and that was my mistake. I lived in apartment 101 3033 building and it's right new to garbage (always overfilled and smelled), the entrance door kept banging from people walking in and out and it was right next to my bedroom. Their washing machine was old AF and didn't even work properly so I had to go to laundromats and wash my clothes there. But what bothered me the most was their male workers coming in "to check" the apartment. One time a guy came in and took pictures so just to make sure it's all good. Second time 3 males came in to fix the AC without any notice, mind you, I didn't even know AC was not working bc I don't use it. They walked on my rug with their shoes on. I was not home but I had cameras inside and I was shocked to say the least that random men coming in and start looking at stuff at my home, I was so upset! It's illegal to enter the rental apartment without letting the tenant know in advance. Lastly, I moved out 3.5 week prior my move out date and I cleared the place and left the keys and parking sticker inside the drawer of my kitchen. And someone walked in there while I had still my lease active and all paid, took all the keys and parking sticker with them! Legally they cannot do that, legally I still live there! I came on last day of my lease to gather some stuff and it was all gone! Lastly, they send me deposit check which bounced back. I will get back to them for that. In fact, I am thinking going to small claims court to see how I can get those 3.5 weeks of rent back since they collected all keys and parking sticker while I still had my lease active and all paid. The worst place I have ever lived at!

This review is for the tour itself, will update after our move in. We scheduled the tour on the website (which most likely was handled by AI agent just like most of the other properties nowadays) and when we showed up nobody was at the lobby. We waited for 10-15 minutes, called the number on the website etc and was lucky to bumped into one of their maintenance guy who then texted Priscilla. Despite the mixed up and our appointment didn't actually made it into her calendar, she was able to accommodate us and showed us a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedrooms apartment (both with view of the mountain which we love). We were hoping for one with the view of the ocean but none was available at the time (we're hoping to maybe upgrade in the future should one becomes available). The apartments were very spacious, even the 1 bedroom, and the place looks clean, well maintained and luxurious. We were excited the moment we walked in. There seems to be plenty of street parking or paid parking in the garage for $270.

I've been living at Crestview Apartments for about a year and a half now, and it has really been…read morefantastic so far. I believe one of the most striking features of these apartments is the square footage you get for the price. You would be hard pressed to find a 1-bedroom between 700-950 square feet for less than what is charged here on the peninsula or in this area, ask me how I know!! The units also have ample closet space (my 1 bedroom has FOUR closets (not even including the kitchen storage) and a large lockable carport storage box. In addition, the kitchens here are huge with more storage space than you'll know what to do with (usually apartments at this price range have the opposite problem). The community is also well maintained with great landscaping + the entire community received a fresh coat of paint in the summer and fall of '23. Maintenance requests are also a breeze and anything you request gets taken care of relatively quickly! The cherry on top is definitely the management. Jennifer, Ane, and Kelly are extremely responsive to all questions and problems we have, not to mention accommodating and understanding when it comes to getting other things worked out. They are the best! My only complaint is that there is no W/D in most of the units, but for the price that is not surprising! Echoing what I said above, you are not finding a unit with W/D with this square footage in this area for less than $2,500 unless your mom's friend's cousin cuts you a deal on their second property . Anyway, big takeaways are that the units here are huge, the community is well maintained, and the management is fantastic. Save yourself some time and check this place out! PS, for the cat lovers out there, they only charge a one time $1,000 per deposit for the entire time you live there (for up to two cats). In my apartment search I saw no other place that does this, usually you have to pay $50-$100 extra per pet per month. Yes it hurts up front, but it saves you a ton of money in the long run! I wish other complexes did it like this!

Our specific unit has a large balcony. Nicely insulated, occasionally can hear upstairs movement. *Management- Randi is the best property manager I've ever had. The repair men are on top of tickets submitted and fixing our issues in 1-2 days. Not to mention how friendly and hardworking the cleaning staff is. *Parking- 1 free garage parking spot, +$60/month additional gated parking spot, street parking is available, & lots of guest parking. *Pet friendly Cons: *Location- CalTrain is right behind the building. We are facing the street side and it is still fairly loud. However, I did get used to it after about 2 weeks. *Delivery- DoorDash has a difficult time finding units, usually have to meet them outside. Packages are delivered in a communal room (we have never had anything stolen yet, but we also get our packages right away) *Elevator- there is only one elevator per building. A little slow, I usually opt for the stairs *Utilities- None are included Despite the cons, so far I believe the pros highly outweigh!
