A guy named Peyton called, but being a car enthusiast it is easy enough to know about these scams and I would never do business with them, but it gave me the opportunity to post this review. Do not sell your car with them, use Craigslist or cars.com (I prefer Craigslist since it is free). Do not even call back. Selling a car is easy. Make sure it is clean to get the best pricing (I always spend about $200 to get it detailed which assures top price), take good pictures of the car (inside and out), look at the comparison value of it in your local market and be realistic with what to ask for it. Then disclose any significant issues the car may have and what work was done recently. But do not try to sell your cars through this outfit. As you can see on their website, their pricing is hideous and the business model is based on you paying them for something that you can do yourself better. You will also not get your money back if you sell it yourself and already gave them the payment to sell your car. read more

If you list a vehicle for sale on craigslist, even though your ad clearly says: do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers, you will be called multiple times a day by an unsolicited number regarding selling your vehicle with oncedriven.com. I tried calling to complain directly to them, but you only get an automated voice. This is a scam! Make no bones about it, they will take your money and make you believe that they are helping to sell your car. They are not! I was able to sell my car on Craigslist during the 45 day window which means they will refund most of your money. Once I submitted everything for a refund it went downhill from there. John Wilson (jwilson@oncedriven.com) or (1-888-941-6515 ext.101) is supposed to be head over the refund department. I have spoken with him and emailed him back and forth several times. His excuse is that they are having problems with their system issuing refunds. This has turned into a joke for me and never expect to receive a refund. The lesson I learned from this is to always read the reviews. If I had I would have seen the scam and never signed up. Shame on me for not doing my due diligence but at least I can learn from it. A total scam. I listed my car for sale on Craigslist. Once driven sales people called me 3 times within a week or so to promote their service. For $189 they would list my car on all their platforms, Auto Trader, Facebook, Twitter and more. If I sold my car first within 45 days they would refund me $160. I agreed. I sold the car myself within two days (I don't belive Once driven ever listed my car anywhere, I looked and couldn't find any ads except the one I placed). When I requested my refund they directed me to fill out a form on their website. Everytime I filled out the form it wouldn't take all my data and kept going blank and I would have to start over again. I never was able to complete the form. I contacted them on the chat screen and she just directed me back to the same form. Again it didn't work. I said I wanted to speak with someone, she said someone would call me in three days (!) I said that was unacceptable, she said that was their policy. No one ever called me back. I'm still trying to get my money back through my credit card ten months later!!! read more

Within two days after posting my 2010 Honda on CraigsList, I received an Unsolicited call from a Sales and Mtg Mgr from Once Driven. This call should not have happened since I did not check the box on CraigList's POSTING page : "Ok for others to contact you about other services, products, or commercial services". It appears that Once Driven is "harvesting" CraigsList Postings. However I chose to listen to the "Sales Pitch" and "Guarantee" which sounded very professional and authentic, especially regarding the "45 Day Money-Back Guarantee". Also, I reasoned that having two advertising companies would increase the Probability of selling my car quickly especially after being told that my low Price Point would attract many buyers. On June 4, 2018, I paid Once Driven $289 to post my Honda on their Website. Their "45 Day Money-Back Guarantee" promising a refund of $289 less a $29 Processing fee if the car was sold to a buyer not delivered by Once Driven. On June 8, 2018 I sold the car myself. On July 17,2018 I applied for the guaranteed refund and was assured by the account Manager that the refund would appear on my next bank statement. After OVER 20 Emails and Phone calls assuring me that the refund request has been approved and has been forwarded to the Refund/Quality Manager. To date, October 25, 2018 (over 4 months later) NO response ! I believe I have been overly patient. My attorney claims that Once Driven is in breach of contract and their conduct constitutes false, misleading and deceptive acts and practices in violation of the TEXAS DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES - CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT and also not in compliance with FTC Regulations. If anyone wishes to get a REFUND, try requesting a "Charge Back" on your credit card...it works. read more

Onceriven.com promised to sell my car. They promised they had matching buyers ready for my car. After paying them, I followed up multiple times to check on the buyers. Every time I was told that they had contacted the buyers but no one had yet responded to them. I sold it to my dealer and they approved my refund after a week. But its been more than 3 weeks I have followed multiple times to check on the refund status, but the only response I get is 'Please wait x days and check back'. I tried reaching my account manager, who I have not been able to reach ever since on phone (except once) and always redirected to voicemail. I called up their helpline and now the operator recognizes my number and transfers me to the account manager rudely saying that only the account manager can help (who is never available on call). Still struggling to get my refund. I have raised a dispute with my credit card company. read more

This company is full of liars. They change their story to try to confuse you and keep your money. I sold my own vehicle and have given them over a month to refund me my money and it still hasn't happened. My account manager Allie was a huge disappointment and always accused me of attaching her on the phone and then Would hang up, she never help me with anything from day one I feel she should be fired. I would never use this company I have given them many chances to resolve this issue and nothing. I have emailed and asked many times to speak to a true manager and never have received a call from anyone they don't respond to calls and they have blocked my phone number on certain days. Ok, here it is plain and simple. These guys totally scammed me. Yes I am a smart person and have been a promoter selling acts all over the country for over 30 years. So I know better. I even told them before I paid them, that I was sure I was being scammed, but they were good enough to get me. They had the professional phone services, with all the departments listed. They got me when I was vulnerable and desperate and they said all the right things at the right time. I even called them back several times and told them that I now know I was scammed and they continued to keep there composer. These guys are bunch of crooks, clowns and scammers, they know nothing about marketing or selling vehicles per say and they'll kiss your **** to get you to sign up with them and tell you they have people waiting to contact you immediately upon signing up. They told me that if they don't sell my car within 45 days that I'd get my money back. That was misleading and a blatant lie ,in the email I received from them it states in small print that (if I sell my vehicle within 45 days) I get a refund, so they LIE, they also told me that they have a dedicated account manager who will work closely with me and form a strategy until my car sells, what a bunch of bull****ters. I never heard from them once, my account Mgr was a clown named Ally, every time I called her it went straight to V.M. and when I was able to get a hold of her and asked her why I never received a single inquiry, she told me "your car is over priced" (which it was not) but that's not what they said when they signed me up. I then called and asked to speak with a supervisor and Ally told me there are no supervisors or managers, so they deflect and LIE LIE LIE all they want is your money. NEVER NEVER NEVER use them.
