Someone didn't do a very good job at matching pj's because I ended up with a 4t pant and 12 month shirt. When I tried to go back for help, she said she couldn't do anything because I didn't have my receipt. I explained that it had been a few days since my purchase and I only noticed the issue because I was washing the clothes after buying them, so the receipt was gone. I told her when I bought them, I had the card I used and had put my phone number in there system. There had to be a way for her look it up, but she was very rude and continued to dismiss me. They should be more careful when they're putting the clothes out. I got ripped off. read more

Waited over 2 hours for them to go through the items. Said it would be ready at 3 and ended up being past 4. Wouldn't have been so bad but have my baby with me and them saying if I left I have 15min to get there but they kept saying almost ready with no time frame. They then proceeded to keep checking people out and checking others that brought items in instead of just finishing. You had 3 people behind the desk and 1 on the other side just going through a bin of clothes to put on racks. I get it it's busy and on the weekend but if you can't keep up why make us wait? Then on top of that the items we brought in they literally just jumbled the items back in the bin. I was nice and separated them in order by months and I get them back in a pile. If teeny boppers are going to run the store at least give them an AOR and stay in that area instead of being all over the place so the people that bring stuff in and also buy more items and still are repeating customers feel welcomed not like we're not welcomed because that's exactly how my experience ended and will never be back. read more

Don't even bother selling to this place. I just waited over an hour to get checked in to be told it would be even longer. Despite this place being a kids store it's not kid friendly what so ever. Employees are sitting there gawking at toys instead of doing there job with no urgency to customers. My child was very visibly flustered with the wait and employees getting back from lunch break were taking toys around showing them to people. I wanted to love this place but will never step foot in another once upon a child again. The workers are super nice , but their process of buying should not take hours and if it does they should tell you to leave and come back the next day or do this by appointment. Making you stand in line just to get to your stuff looked at & you shopping in their store for over an hour and then having to leave and come back is absolutely ridiculous. This process is not efficuent and it's a waste of time for the customer. If you sell children's clothing you should have a bathroom. Small children have to go all the time and can't hold it. Most moms shopping here would have small children. read more

Employees here treat you like you're a total pain. Went in to sell some clothes and the only time the girl looked up at me was to snap at me to get in line. Waited 30 minutes with no apology or update on how Long they would be and left. This is the second time I was snapped at by the girl behind the counter like a small child and I'm not here for it. They should have the computers that let you check in (like other once upon locations) it would take some of the stress off of the cranky employees. read more

If I can give 0 stars I would but unfortunately that's not an option for it being my first time shopping here it was a horrible experience the receptionist Sonya made me feel very uncomfortable and she was very rude . As she was ringing me up she from the start already had a nasty attitude as it being my first time I was excited that they had such amazing prices on infants clothing as she rang me up the total was over what I expected so I had to remove some items at the end of my purchase she asked me debit or credit I replied saying debit she rudely threw the card machine and began to remove the hangers from the clothing I was about to purchase so I waited and then asked do I insert my pin and she replied saying " I dOnT kNoW I tHiNk ThAtS wHaT iT sAyS" so as I began to insert my pin she said "I HaVe BaD eYeSiGhT" but as she was removing some of my items from the purchase she clearly was able to read the items I wanted to remove because the tags have small lettering which threw me off and made me really upset . I really think management should hire people that have patience and good attitude when it comes to customer service . I work at a retail job and I know customers can be tough with being indecisive but it takes allot of patience to be a good worker and that's what Sonya should work on . She can play the innocent game and defend her self and blame me as the customer like we people normally do but I do believe she needs to work on her attitude and or get another job that doesn't involve customer service . Really bad experience all the way around. Someone stole the items the store wasn't buying when the clerk put the bags out of the register area. The manager apologized and gave us $10 credit since it was their fault. A few weeks later, I got a phone call stating if we didnt use the credit by the next day, it would be gone. I had a sick kiddo and couldn't make it. She was rude and condescending. We haven't set foot back in the store since! read more

Some of the rudest workers and poorly managed places that I have shopped at in Lubbock. I think the Better Business Bureau needs to see how much they charge for used clothing, baby items and shoes. Selling your kids clothes to them will get you very little. It is better to donate your kid items to someone that can use them. Their reviews are awful!! read more

I absolutely love selling to them , they give generous amounts of store credit, or cash EVERY SINGLE TIME! It is always best to go in with your things organized, considering they will have to sort them , they give a slip if its going to be a while , so that you can come back! As far as buying clothes I think the store could use a clean out , but still so so much to have a look at . Either way I ALWAYS find something I can use , while I wait for my stuff to be bought . This is definitely your "GO-TO" store if you have more than one child. The only negative comment is the staff could definitely practice their customer service skills , and maybe touch up on product knowledge..... but nevertheless again if you have more than one child , I would seriously give this place visit!!!! read more

I had an issue the last time I was in there and the employee gave me a receipt which stated that I had a credit of $9.95. I questioned her to make sure that this little receipt is ALL I needed and that it would be honored by presenting it the next time I visited the shop, and she assured me that this is very standard procedure for credits so I would have nothing to worry about. Great!! Today I decided to use my handy little credit! I take my items to the front counter and present my credit receipt... And LOW AND BEHOLD!!! "Ma'am this is the wrong receipt. In order to use the credit that is printed on this receipt I need the other (phantom non existent) receipt." (Oh wtf?!) The girl who gave me said receipt comes over and says she remembers giving me the credit but she is certain she gave me a DIFFERENT receipt with the actual credit on it...So I asked to speak to the manager. The girl looks around for someone to save her and approaches another employee for guidance. They talk for a second and the girl goes to the back, to get a manager. She then comes back and says "she'll be right out"... So I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally after the line has been moving, and I'm being ignored by all the other employees, I ask "is someone REALLY coming out to speak to me??" The lady to whom my girl had originally ask for help from begins walking to the back to check and says to me as she's walking to the back "well ma'am she's the owner and she has other things to do so let me check.." Wtf lol OTHER things to do aside from helping a customer?!?! The lady comes back from "checking" and THEN introduces herself as the manager! Lol she assures me she'll research it and call me back. (Oh hello new manager lol) she calls me back 20 minutes later and tells me that I already used me credit... The credit that I was holding in my hand when I was in there lol somehow had already been used?! The credit that the employee remembered IN DETAIL giving me, no longer was valid..Lol yay... Makes sense right? ;) they don't act like they want anyone's business. They roll their eyes and seem inconvenienced by their patrons. No respect or appreciation for the people that supply your inventory! I know they dominate the 2nd hand baby business here in town but that doesn't give them permission to act like a bunch of a$$holes. read more
