This store is great!! My daughter and I absolutely love coming here to get her clothes. The ONLY thing I struggle with is the location of this store. It seems like everyone else is complaining about how much it sucks to try to sell them your clothing, but it also sucks as a person looking to buy baby clothing. Most of the pieces are between $3.50 and $5.50. I feel like I could get better clothing just off of clearance racks at any other store for a cheaper price, and the clothing would be brand new instead of used by someone else. i'm not going to waste my time returning. I just didn't had a good experience there. Once we got up towards the desk to bring some item. The lady at the desk was pretty rude. We looked around and waited for our items to be looked at. They told us from 3 boxes of clothes and couple baby items like a baby bath and active toys. We only got $30 out of the whole thing. I was pretty upset because there was more of what they could of took. Never again coming up here. read more

Ok i am confused but they have kids picking out what clothes to put on babies. Most of the stuff they passed on were cuter than most of the stuff they had in the store also i walked around I thought they text you or call you like the overland park location they just had me walking around waiting on them. i wont be back at this location read more

Wish I could give no stars. Don't waste your time lugging all your babies clothes here. They are extremely too picky. Most of my clothes were like new, some even with tags. They literally only bought 5 items. They stated it was because of wear and stains, however like I said they had ether been worn once or never at all. Another lady standing next to me was upset as well that they were not buying any of her clothes. She was holding up adorable baby girl clothes still on hangers with tags! It will just ruin your day like it did mine and waste your time and energy to bring your clothes here. Don't bother. read more

I decided to go to a Once Upon a Child in Lee's Summit to sell never worn baby clothes that at this time I would not be using. Most of the items I brought in still had tags on them because I wasn't able to return them to the original store due to missing the return date. Most of my items were Carters brand. Once I walked in, at least 3 sales associates were behind the counter, they all looked at me and continued their personal conversations. It wasn't until I walked over to the counter where these associates were, they finally said something. It wasn't a welcoming hello, exc. It was have you sold with us before, I'll need you to fill out the paperwork to sell the clothing. They informed me it would be about 45 minutes. I walked around the store for a few minutes and looked at some clothing. TALK ABOUT OVERPRICED. I honestly was shocked at how much they priced used clothing. I realized this is probably why the store is over flowing with clothing. After walking around, I left and came back about an hour later. For the record, I knew I wouldn't get what I paid for the items originally or even half. But these still had tags on them and never worn. The sales associate told me she would give me $22.00 dollars for my items they selected. I looked over into their blue bin and couldn't believe it. I was speechless. Although I did not need these clothes anymore, I was not going to be completely ripped off when I saw what they were selling items for. Yes, they have to make a profit. They picked almost 50 items of mine and offered $22.00. Which means they were offering me roughly $0.44 cents each item. I mean really?! Let me be honest, I know they have to make a profit like I've stated above, but, when their items are usually around $2.50 and up for a onsie, you know you are getting ripped off. The lady told me if there were things in the bin I wanted to keep, I could but it would lower the final price. I told her, thank you but I'm going to pass. Between the customer service and overpriced items that show a lot of wear, I personally would never buy items from here. It still shocks me! Prices are pretty high for used items. Much higher than other businesses with the same concept. However, the store is always full of items (might be bc everything is too highly priced it's not going anywhere or could be bc they have a steady stream of sellers bringing stuff by- who knows?) When it comes to selling to them, they give very little but there is a convenience in just getting rid of the items so I do understand. This store employees mostly high school age girls who aren't very knowledgable on baby equipments & other items. But they are nice enough. I plan return but I also plan to shop around for other 2nd hand baby stores in search of better pricing. read more
