BB is in a higher category than Jos A Bank or Men's Warehouse. Did I mention U.S. presidents wear this stuff? Fully canvased suits. Control of their own production line. Made in America. I've walked through the all sections and observed the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The floorplan is exactly like every other Kohl's so the customer should have no issues getting around. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.

The shipping information CLEARLY indicated I had ordered a MARIO back pack. I took the back pack to the KOHL's store and got a refund (shipping was free because I had spent over $45). I asked the clerk if they had the MARIO back pack in stock, and she indicated that she did not see one in inventory. When I got back home, I tried to reorder the correct pack but the web site indicated that they were out of stock. In addition, the back pack was $35 which meant that I would have to add another item to get the same free shipping. I found the exact same back pack from Amazon and it was $10 cheaper so I ordered it (no shipping charge)

After five minutes with Anthonio I not only had a new tailor, I had a new friend. No longer will I have to put up with some hipster huckster trying to sell me clothes or shoes styled for 20-somethings. I went in to replace a wardrobe essential . . . my black blazer. I didn't know they could shrink like that (wink, wink)! Anyway, Anthonio and I spent the next hour fitting the blazer and two pairs of matching trousers. That's how meticulous he is about making sure you look good in his clothes. I'm sure his business is built upon the word-of-mouth, "Hey, that's a great looking suit. Where'd you get it?" While I waited for Anthonio to finish with a customer I strolled around looking at all that Moda Domani has to offer. I'm convinced I can find everything I need to stay well dressed. This time I found the blazer I needed hanging on the rack, but I'm anxious now to get measured for one of Anthonio's bespoke suits.

Anthonio was beyond helpful, even willing to meet outside of his normal business hours to accommodate my work schedule. I spent almost two hours with Anthonio going over every detail of what ultimately turned out to be a meticulously crafted, beautiful custom suit, and shirt. Anthonio is a true professional and has wonderful recommendations for what will work and won't work for you. You can't go wrong! Some of the items are higher price but that's to be expected when supporting local makers. I did find some reasonable items such as a brush for mixing shaving cream which is an essential for me. I also want to purchase some of the KC canning goods. I'll definitely drop in here to do some window shopping or gifting giving.
