No star if i could. First I was told they only do donations on Friday so I was turned away, (turned out to be a lie) came back and was told things have to be in a tote, which Ok fine, i should've called to verify. Came back today with 2 totes filled with name brand items and more! Got told they had a "slight odor". I have no animals, not a smoker. These clothes were in bags in my garage but i made sure i washed and folded them before bringing them in so not sure what they meant. This place needs to be defunded ASAP. Also, the girls working seemed dim witted and even showed attitude to the man in front of me in line and rolled their eyes. So i know when i said "this place is a scam" they had something to say when i left. This place needs to be shut down. Don't waste ur time, go to the Salvation Army or Facebook marketplace. read more

Small town stores are better than any in big cities. They have nothing but clothes. Plus, it's my second time driving here that they are not accepting items to sell. It's no fun dragging all of the stuff, unloading my baby, plus being pregnant all for them to not be able to hold my stuff there for 2 days. The one in Findlay, OH is the best Once Upon a Child I've ever been to. Don't bother with the big city. read more

I glanced over some reviews and I see people complained about the service. I went in today and Taylor was super happy to help even though I didn't get everything I brought to the counter. She patiently waited for me to decide and even had to go back to get a shoe's mate for me. I didn't even end up buying the shoes because it had the wrong tag stuck to it. Even so she didn't complain, she just smiled and continued to help me like I wasn't being a pain in the butt! I have been to this and other locations several times and even though I'm not impressed with their pricing usually, I still find some good deals. To be honest, if you don't like it then don't buy it. It's generally used clothing and it's purchased by employees who are human and can make mistakes. They can accidentally overlook a hole or a stain just like any of us can. They get so many items daily so you can't expect everything to be perfect. I'd say you should definitely allow for some extra time when shopping here. The store was well organized, well lit, and clean. They even have a section of baseball, football, and soccer items. It's not my go to but I like having the option to shop in one place and be able to put my hands on the item and inspect it as opposed to buying a 'lot' online and half the items have stains or holes. If you're in the area just stop in if you need kids clothes, shoes, toys, strollers, etc. Note, they do not sell car seats. read more

Four stars for their store, zero for their new policies. The store is usually clean and generally organized. I have found many good buys over the years. However, it's become increasingly frustrating to buy or sell there. They recently started charging for bags to save the environment- but the customer base is typically bargain shoppers and adding an expense to something generally considered necessary (a bag to carry multiple items!) seems ridiculous. I do care about the environment but how is charging me for bags really going to make a difference? Yeah, they saved the planet from me recycling one bag as I refused to pay for it and juggled the large stack of clothes out to my car. Also, you now have to make an appointment to sell stuff. I found this out after bringing in a very heavy box. Appointments are being scheduled three weeks out. I know they have been overwhelmed with people dropping off stuff to sell in the past and I believe they are short staffed (help wanted signs) but I still found it frustrating. Service is hit or miss but usually they are nice. I could go on but I'll add just one more thing - prices have gone up and the bargains are not what they once were. There are still some great finds but the average item price is the same as the sale price for new clothes. I used to be a fairly regular customer but now they'll be my last stop not the first. read more

This place is not a place you would go to sell your lightly used clean clothes, very rude and never checked my items. I'm so disappointed of how disrespectful they had the audacity tell me that my clothes were not the age rage there looking for and if you see the things I had was the age of 12months to 5years old. Some things were new with tags on them that's how I knew they didn't go through my things. Never will I put my foot in there again read more

Always greeted, but the clothing on the other hand is hit or miss because they place items with stains and spit up stains on their floor...definitely look 3x's over the item you're wanting to make sure it's actually worth buying with NO stains. read more

Everyone here is always so nice!! And I frequently shop at this one since it is close to my house! I was there yesterday with my 6 month old bought a bigger toy and they offered to carry it out for me! No matter what, this store always make life difficult for the people who literally give them their simply. Without the people bring them their stuff no longer used, they have no store. I won't go in to how they give you very little in regard to what you being in. Just now I called them and asked them if they were accepting walk ins. They said yes, only one tote. So I took the time to get it all together and drive the 15 minute to the stor. I was there within 25 minutes if calling. When I came in to the store I re no hello, but rather uhhhh no we aren't taking anymore today. I told them I had just called. One girl said, no I told you we weren't accepting more. Then what other admitted to speaking with me but said, but we've received 8 other ones since we talked. I get not taking anymore from people you hadn't told to bring it in. But turning me away was ludicrous and bad business. You've lost a customer for sure. read more

I had a bad experience last year and decided to give them another try but was once again disappointed. I took my toddlers out grown clothes (ugg, north face, cathart, old navy with tags still on, etc.) all in very good condition and they offered $19 and some change for an entire tub. I was shocked. I declined the offer and left. After waiting 5.5 hours for my stuff and then the person was rude when I declined. I will not be going back to sell or buy. read more

Not only does this place have poor management, but everything is either underpriced or overpriced. 3 of the exact same shirts shared the value of $1-$4 and they were all the exact same. Customer service here isn't really a thing either. Selling to places like this cheat you out of your money, always. Wouldn't waste my time going to this location, management is trash and customer service is poor. read more

I love this location. This location has the best prices, best service (employees are friendly and attentive), the best variety, and take in more than the other locations around Columbus. I've visited Grove City location, E. Main location, Sawmill Rd, and Gahanna...this is my favorite. If you like Once Upon A Child to buy or sell your kids clothes, I have found that this location is my favorite. read more

Multiple visits. Rude people working. Act like they're not interested in you bringing clean, very well taken care of baby clothing and toys which I'm happy to give and get pennies on the dollar in return for. I'd rather donate them to an empty box in a parking lot than deal with dry, rude, negative energy people. I don't require much from dealing with anyone in the service industry but I'll be damned if your going to act like I'm bothering you. The brunette, plain face gal is and always has been blahhhhh. This store is probably the best Once Upon a Child store I've visited, so far. While sometimes busy, the staff has always been courteous, at minimum, but almost always friendly. They are reasonably priced and almost always take most of what I bring in to sell. They are a bit disorganized (which I find pretty typical of all Once Upon a Child stores) and sometimes seem understaffed, which is my reason for four out of five stars. read more

If I could give this a negative star, I would. I will never go to this store, again. My husband and I both. I've never been treated so rudely and insignificant in my life. Every time we've been here the customer service has been non existent but even more so on our last visit. The 'person' who was at the counter (I'd like to say the person who helped me but that's going too far) rolled her eyes so many times at me before I even spoke to her that I thought she was going to fall backwards. I brought clothes in and was going to shop around but ended up taking my clothes back and leaving because of the customer service. I was told that next time I should bring the clothes in a laundry basket and folded neatly because I'd be more likely to get more money then. I'm sorry... sooooo, the very reason you are in business is to resell clothes and such, right?!? Does it matter how they come to you as long as you can sell them??? My family and friends have gone to this store too, and I've heard the same. I've also heard and believe they don't pay out as much as the store up on Sawmill so, if you have the time, drive the extra miles. They are much better at customer service up there, too. read more
