The comforters are usually branded and of high quality. Most of my comforters I have bought are from here. Over the last 2 to 3 years I have ventured out but haven't been able to match the high quality and the brand at Marshall's. I did ship by a coue of times here but wasn't lucky to find a good deal. Make frequent visits and go window shopping frequently to find your deals. Venture walking in the mall during the winter rather than home.

The HomeGoods part has a lot of good stuff. Service was good. This is Marshall's, so value is decent. I think their prices for the HomeGoods part was a bit expensive for stuff not really worth it, but we cannot get away from the inflation and tariffs, but Marshalls/HomeGoods should think twice about the prices they place on certain cheap items.

Standard Kohl's, but if there's a shoe department, I couldn't find it, and if there was a clerk…read moreavailable to help me find things, I couldn't find him or her. This particular location seems to have more clothes and fewer household items, particularly electrics, than other Kohl's I've visited, although it had a somewhat beefier selection of kitchen stuff (mostly in the "As Seen on TV" type of category -- Food Network, Bobby Flay line, etc.) The thing I resent about Kohl's as a brand is you HAVE to get their discount coupons in order for the pricing to make sense. I once did a direct comparison of five identical items that both Target and Kohl's carried, and the Target prices were the same, within a penny or two, as Kohl's prices - with the coupons. The whole store is premised on a bait and switch. That said, we frequented Kohl's in the past because they did have better goods in some areas than the discount department stores and the shopping is lower key than a traditional large department store a la Macy's. But this location doesn't have the same spread of goods we are accustomed to, and one thing you want from a name-brand chain store is consistency. So, fail to Kohl's on this one. One final nit, but it's a serious one as far as I'm concerned: the music was pumped up WAY too loud. I probably wouldn't complain if it was music I liked, of course, but when one is shopping, the music is supposed to relax you, not make you wish you could finish your business and get the heck outta there before you go deaf. (And if I go deaf, I want to go deaf to something more interesting.) I feel like a hatah this week, giving a string of low ratings to places, but this section of Clifton Park seems to be retail hell.

Just because you drop it off at one location doesn't mean it gets sold at that specific place. And EVERY place that has donation bins requires bags. It's not because they're expecting people to leave them outside the bins. I mean--even if everything fit in the bins, would you want people to just dump a bunch of loose stuff in there? As far as the store goes, it's one of the smallest SA stores I've ever seen. The clothing sections are limited, but the housewares section downstairs is great. There are always tons of great dishes and decor items. The prices are fantastic, especially if you go on 1/2 price days (Wednesdays). Parking lot is really small and pretty treacherous, especially on Wednesdays. 4 stars for housewares, 3 stars for clothes 2 stars for parking lot and facility (it's on 2 floors, so not very handicap friendly) 5 stars for the bargains I've picked up here

"The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. She is a nasty woman who has lost sight of the mission of The Salvation Army. We have never been treated worse than we were today. We've documented our visit and we are going to take our issue with the Clifton Park location to a National level. Four people asked us if we were ok when we walked out of the building. All because of her behavior. I'd love someone to put a live camera in this place and audit the cash flow in and out of this location. I'm convinced it's corrupt. Wits End in Clifton Park is a really neat, very expansive store. Every time I go in, I feel like I could walk around for an hour and still not see everything. They have all kinds of decorations, and if you are looking for unique Christmas ornaments or special decor pieces, this place is absolutely worth checking out. It is not just seasonal either, there are gifts and decorative items for all times of year. They even carry clothing. The prices are not cheap, but the store has an upscale aura and I personally do not mind paying more for items that feel unique and well chosen. It does not feel like a big box store, it feels more like a specialty shop where you find things you would not see everywhere else. I have heard people say the staff walk around and watch customers closely. Honestly, I can understand why. The layout has to be a security challenge, there are multiple rooms, different levels, and even an upstairs. I would imagine shoplifting could be an issue in a store set up like this. For me, the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I actually wonder how they keep track of where everything is in a place that big, that alone is impressive. Around Christmas time it gets very busy, which says a lot about how popular it is. I usually make it in about once a year during the holidays, but you could shop here anytime for unique gifts. The only thing that feels a little off putting to me is the number of signs about broken ornaments and being charged 50 percent if something is damaged. I do understand why they have them, a lot of people do not watch their kids closely and accidents happen, and adults break things too. Still, seeing the signs all over the place does change the feel a bit. That said, it definitely does not stop me from coming in. Overall, I really enjoy this store and always find something interesting when I visit.

WORST customer service experience I've ever had. A week and a half before our wedding the suit for…read moremy 6 year old nephew fell through and we went to Jos A Banks in Clifton Park and asked if we would be able to get a suit in time. They told us it would take a week but they could do it. They measured him for over 30 minutes and had him try on jackets, shirts and shoes for another 30 minutes. They assured us that when it came in if there was anything that didn't fit they'd be able to fix it right then and no matter what we'd walk out of the store with a perfect suit for him. The suit came in and was so small he couldn't even try parts of it on. They told us the only option was to remeasure him and they would overnight a suit to the store and bring it to us because we would already be at wedding events the next day. The man there was extremely rude to me throughout the process. The next day we got a call saying oops the suit never shipped and wasn't going to come in at all that day but not to worry they would drive it to us the day of the wedding! We were very upset. We were promised a bunch of options would be brought to us to ensure he had something perfect to wear. The wedding day came and they showed up an hour later than promised (only 2 hours before pictures were supposed to start). She brought only one suit and 2 shirts. The jacket was HUGE on him. So her solution was to use a dozen safety pins to pin it to his length. Those safety pins poked him through the whole ceremony and caused him to cry and have to be changed into other clothes immediately. The pants were so huge he looked like a clown. The shirt was so big she just rolled the sleeves up a bunch of times. They could NOT fit a suit on this kid after a combined 2 hours of measuring and making him try things on. They could NOT meet any deadline or promise they made to us. And they ruined our wedding day for a 6 year old boy who instead of matching the wedding party like intended had to be changed into his shorts and T-shirt for our wedding and photos. And worst of all they could NOT have been rudder or more unprofessional throughout the process. When I say we were actually laughed at when we voiced our struggles that is just the tip of the iceberg when it came to the terrible customer service. We returned the suit and told them how absolutely terrible he looked. Everyone at the store made it clear they did not care at all. All of our wedding guests, wedding venue and vendors were so disgusted by this they are guaranteeing us they will never use this company ever.
