Always a pleasure going in this store. They really help my dollar go a lot further with quality clothes at small prices. They also surprise me everytime I take my stuff to sell to them how much they take and how much they pay me for it. So to keep it short.. I arrived around 12:15. Gave them three bags of clothes. One being a kitchen trash bag and two clear half full bags. Not too -toomany clothes. Probably about 20 ish onesies, handful of baby sweat pants & untouched never used swaddles. I went thru it all before leaving my house it took me ten minutes to go thru each article of clothing.. they told me at 12:30 to come back around 1:45 and my stuff would be done. I told them I was doing an exchange for store credit to shop that exact day.. anyways I'm 5 months pregnant and have my 8mo son with me. I came back at 1:30, was told my stuff was next and went in again at 2:00, stuff still not done. Came back at 3:30!! stuff still not done. I could see where it was as well, never touched, constantly walked by. They give you an app with the estimated time and updates as well. They apologized and said oh usually people don't come back until the next day. Even though I told them store exchange and that I'd be back to shop same day and that we're outside waiting.. They sorted thru my stuff in front of me within ten mins.. also they didn't give the store credit with 10% discount as promised. No one was in the store.. I felt defeated and exhausted waiting in my car this long to be treated and overlooked such a way, visibly pregnant & with an infant. the one specific girl I had originally told I'd be back soon to shop when they're done & she showed me the app with the time, started slamming boxes around me and giving dirty looks. My fiancé seen this as well. They even spoke amongst each other and said, "well I wouldn't cry about it" no compassion or accountability... And the shorter blonde girl was being very back handed- passive aggressive. I had no rude demeanor, just felt defeated and silent by their audacity, inconsideration, poor business and customer service. they very much so were passive aggressive and had like a mean girl attitude, making me feel extremely uncomfortable and stressed.. For all the stuff I had, I only received 13$. I was only able to get my baby girl that I'm expecting 9 onesies. We waited four excruciating hours for this. I have been recovering with my baby since from the stress. It is almost midnight as I emotionally write this. Beyond a draining & disappointing day. read more

Today wasn't the best of visits to this location. Usually I patron this store selling/buying a couple times a year. Each visit has been different with different staff each time, never the same people working here. Today is was greeted by a brown haired woman who loudly explained : "If you're going to sell here today, no matter where you live you have to be back here to pick up your drop off sale items by 8 pm or they will be discarded!' I've never been greeted that way by a consignment store. Especially one that relies on the public for sales to profit their store. Currently (July 2023) they do not want any baby clothes/items. They are only accepting the following: Kids shorts and swimsuits, Jordan's, name brand tee shirts, or bassinets. Things to know in my experience selling here: MOST IMPORTANT: just be nice, because most people Working here aren't that kind or well mannered in customer service. They won't give you much for your items, honestly you'll have better chances selling on Facebook market place. Most parents are willing to pay what you're asking for your kids items and they will even travel to You to pick them up. Easy service on both ends no middle man. The store is usually over crowded with stuff everywhere. Not that organized but, they do tend to host seasonal sales. Also note: I wouldn't try to sell items during the holidays. It's not worth your time. Better to purchase used kids items during their holiday sale instead. Lastly, if you're trying to sell ride on toys, you won't make near as much as you paid for them. Sell them for cash at a local garage sale instead. You'll be glad you did. No photos this time. Disappointing visit. read more

I love this store! I've been to 3 locations and ALL have been great! Super great prices! Really cool toys u can find or furniture. Then a HUGE selection of clothes for your littles. Weird and rude! The power was out... completely understandable and know that's out of their control. So they open the store as cash only instead of remaining close. I'm the 1st one in the childrens consignment shop with stuff to be consigned! It's an employee questioning how much stuff I have and say that she's trying not to buy that much due to the power outage. Keep the consignment shop closed if you're not buying. It's that simple. Dropped by today as a walk in around noon with some baby items, girls items, and shoes! The majority of it was taken and I received payment as store credit. Walk-ins are currently allowed at this location but only if you're willing to accept store credit. I was because the kids can always use clothing! I ended up buy a toy box and some clothing while there which took a chunk of the store credit. Win win for sure! The staff was very friendly and helped me and a friend with questions as we asked! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!! I bought a Finding Nemo tummy time mat for my newborn from here, and he was too young for it so i put it in storage. Before I left the store, I made sure the cashier put batteries in it so i could tell if it worked. It didn't at first so she had to smack the battery pack and then it started making noise and lighting up. For $30 without the seaweed pillow, i thought i had a great deal. I take it out of storage today - put fresh batteries in it, no lights and no sounds. Completely dead. You're better off going to goodwill. At least they're honest about if their shit doesn't work and they sure don't sell it for $30 read more

Updated to add that i went back today, May 18, 2023, to drop off a bag of shoes (which the sign outside said they were needing). They asked for ID. I handed them a PASSPORT. They have EVERYTHING you could ever need for your baby. Books, clothing, toys, shoes, gear, even unused diapers. Selling is fairly easy, you can even call ahead and tell them what you want to sell, and they'll let you know if it's in demand right now. I prefer this store to other consignment stores because they pay you on the spot (you get more if you take the store credit). The aisles are a bit crowded so be mindful if you have a large stroller. All of the clothing that I've seen is in extremely good condition, although some pieces are overpriced for being second-hand. All-in-all, I enjoy shopping and selling here. read more

Stock is always changing too, which is great for when you want options (like lots of different 'my Brest friend' pillows to choose from instead of there just being one-take it or leave it. I am a big supporter of Once Upon a Child and have done business with them for years. However, I will not do business with this location after how I was treated by one of their associates. From the moment I walked in the lady was rude to me when I inquired about selling some clothes. I obviously wasn't familiar with all the rules this location has when it comes to selling clothes and the associate made a point to be crass and mean in answering my questions and booking an appointment to come back and sell. I didn't deserve to be treated that way and hope that's not how they treat every customer that walks through their door. I've been shopping at this location for over 10 years. Over the years,it's changed quite a bit. the main problem is that the store is so small (it's actually bigger than others), and they have so much inventory. The store is crowded and cramped. It's hard to walk up and down the isles. There's barely enough room for one person.Much less three or more. They do do a pretty good job of organizing their clothing, by size.So,it is easy to find the sizes that you are shopping for. The prices seem decent enough,on most of their clothing. You can't beat the onesies prices: $1.50/each,or $10/10. Overall,I like this store. The staff is nice,when you can get their attention. Maybe they're understaffed. I'm not sure. I bought for my daughters, there.Now,I am buying for my grandchildren. As long as they are around. And, their prices are fair, I'll shop there. But,there is always room for improvement. read more

The only down side is that they offer store credit for clothes and shoes, but they have a nice selection of clothes, Baby gear and toys. They offer cash for baby gear and toys, though. It's disappointing to have some items rejected but there are complicated factors that go into why they take things and why they don't. I try not to take it as a personal insult. I love shopping here (though some random items are overpriced) and have sold many things to them over the past decade. The shop can get very crowded and I do wish there was a video playing in the little kid corral so that I could spend more time shopping sans kiddos, but, again, complicated decisions. I was given 7.00 for which seemed like a lot of baby clothes. I was told they only pay 10 cents for each onesie. They told me since my baby clothes were in a bag and wrinkled although freshly laundered that customers wouldn't buy them. I wait more than an hour for them to look at the clothes I brought. I had to leave and come back couple hours later because they still hadn't gotten to me even though they quoted me 30 mins. The store seemed old and cluttered and smelled musty. The prices were higher than the wesley chapel location and the staff isn't as friendly here. I won't come back. Sorry but not sorry. You can find brand new clothes at Tj maxx, Marshals or Ross for the same price if not cheaper. Don't waste your time here. read more

I went in to try and sell shoes and clothes that were practically brand new and they didn't want to take most of it and then offered me only 20 dollars for everything else. Great place to get all size clothes. Trading in your stuff may take little while but you can come back and they will call you or you can shop while you wait. The trade in amount sucks don't expect to get much money or store credit for what you bring. Staff has their cranky days but over all nice ladies. Toys may vary on the location. Sadly this isn't the first thing I have found to be wrong with this business! #1 why will no one allow me to speak to the owner? Is it because you know what your doing is wrong? #2 Today I was in the store and I couldn't believe what I heard. A lady came in and she had purchased some shorts. (Pre purchased ) These were nice new shorts with the hanger and the tags from the original store. The problem: the shorts had a magnetic security sensor on them and she needed it removed. No she didn't have her receipt with her right or wrong doesn't matter she came in to get the tag removed! She wasn't told no she was told they didn't use those security tags. The manager Haylee told her she would call another store to see if they could help. They said if she didn't have a receipt they couldn't help, the store was Plato's closet down the street. So the lady asked her what she could do. Haylee told her she would take the shorts over herself and have the tag removed. The lady then said okay when are you going to do that , she was then told it would tomorrow after Haylee went to Busch Gardens. The lady didn't understand why the manager would volunteer to go have the tag removed then take her sweet time. Haylee then gave her a refund. The problem was the lady wanted the shorts she purchased she didn't want a refund and that's what she told the manager. So the manager told her well the price is gonna go up because I have to use my personal gas to go do this! What? How can you sell something and not pay attention to the security tag then sell it then refund it then up the price because you voluntarily said you would go get the tag removed! The lady was upset and left!! Can't imagine why!!! #3 I do business all the time with this store and it's always hours and hours to get things sorted and taken in! Doesn't matter if I get there when the doors open or at noon it's always the same story!! And I've seen them take all the easy buys 1st and leave the other buys for someone else to deal with! All this time no one will let you talk to the owners. #4 I personally know several people who have put applications in to work at this store and they never get a call back! These people have either owned similar businesses or managed other stores like this and given their applications straight to Haylee then heard nothing yet kids with no experience get hired by Haylee. So sad to see this business not flourish like it should because of bad management and people who buy and sell kids stuff have no clue what any of the toys or popular characters are? #5 please do your business a favor and hire a manager who works, is honest to customers and doesn't make excuses for being lazy and not wanting to push all the work into others read more

I had a great experience here. Everyone that worked there was very nice & they had all the latest jumparoos & cradle swings & new looking strollers, not to mention the $1.00 onsies!! That looked like brand new!! All the shoes u would want for a baby & lots of toys too. Lots of everything!! Not just 1 of each thing more like 5 of each!! Prices are good, tons of stuff to choose from. Staff very helpful. I have shopped at several of these stores. My only complaint of this one is that they aren't very picky about what they accept to sell. I was looking for toddler shoes. I found what I wanted at a good price, hence the five stars. However I went through three big bins to find them and a lot of the shoes were in horrible shape. An absolute waste of my time. They didn't even bother to call and tell me they were finished either. Very small store, very worn clothes in all sizes. I found good ballet clothes, but way over priced for being a second hand store.

I went in to look for a Rock and Play sleeper for a friend which they sadly did not have. The staff didnt greet us when we walked in and there were only a few other people in the store. They do have a large selection os swings, bouncers, strollers and tons and tons of childrens clothing. They even have a generous selection of premi outfits. The prices arent bad. For the swings, etc. it would be comparable to what you would find on craiglist; maybe a few dollars more. The store overall was clean and well organized. It's nice if your looking for alot of clothes because they really have a large selection. read more
