So happy with the service I received! I had my Honda CRV completely detailed inside. I was most concerned about the front passenger seat as it had several beverage spills on it. Once Over completely removed them and there is no visible stain. The cost was well worth the service, in fact I was shocked at how reasonable it was, I was expecting to pay double what I was charged. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will definitely be back! read more

Spoke with the owner requesting color correction for my 2022 Ford Expedition (Black) and he informed me that it's a lengthy process and he doesn't do it. He did however give me a lot of advice on how to handle or question shops that do that type of work. He went above and beyond even though he knew that I wouldn't bring my Expedition there. This is how you should treat customers. I feel confident recommending friends and family to this shop. Bravo. read more

Fantastic work. The car always comes out looking like I just drove it off the lot! They are always a pleasure to work with.

I am a returning customer to Once Over Car Care after a 13 year absence. I originally began taking my vehicles to Todd in the late 90's and only stopped because I moved much further west and didn't want to make the drive. Big mistake on my part! I've gone through 3 detail shops in the mean time and I've now returned to Once Over Car Care and the great job they do cleaning and detailing my ride. He has been in business for decades and does fantastic work at a very reasonable price. His team is meticulous in cleaning the interior and do a great job on the exterior. I have seen some pretty fancy vehicles that he has worked on at the shop, so the word has gotten around. Todd will treat you with respect and courtesy and values your business. You wont' find a better detail shop or value. read more

They are closed after their building caught fire last year and are hoping to open back up after summer of 2021.

So happy with the service I received from Todd. I found him/his shop on yelp after doing some research on where to take my car for interior and exterior detailing. What sealed the deal for me (after great reviews and good customer service over the phone before scheduling the appointment) was the price for a complete detailing. He gave me a price of almost half of other places I had called. I had to ask a few times about everything the complete detailing included because I was in disbelief in how great of a deal I was getting. Anyway I scheduled the car detailing appointment for a Saturday and when I went to pick it up after a few hours I was very pleasantly shocked at how great my car looked. My 5 year old Kia Sorento looked brand new! Both exterior and interior. Highly recommend! My husband will also be taking his car for detailing soon and we have recommended him to friends. read more

Having had my car detailed for the very first time, I didn't know exactly what to expect. But I was thrilled with the friendliness of the owner as well as the results! My car smelled amazing for at least a full week afterwards, and I have a dog that is in my car every other day! The recent rain has beaded beautifully on the exterior. And the interior of my windows have remained fog less. The owner was more than friendly, he took the time to talk, explain the process and even shared a couple of small trade secrets for keeping things up on my own! I'll definitely be going back! read more

The hype is real. Todd IS the best (along with his crew). Took my '08 Highlander there for a complete detail and I when I picked it up, I was wondering why there's a new '08 Highlander where mine was parked. Oh--wait--that IS my car! Phenomenal job from top to bottom. Like a new car inside and out. Even cleaned my WeatherTech floor mats which I offered to remove before hand. My touch screen had tons of fingerprints and dust and now looks like new. Headlights? The haze is GONE! Taking my wife's car there today to get detailed as well. Can't say enough good things. God bless you Todd. You are one of the most friendly, accommodating professionals I've ever encountered. Keep up the great work! read more

So impressed and grateful with the great detail Once Over Car Care did on my car. It feels like brand new. They cleaned every nook like no other. Plus, they charged less than what most places do. The owner even accommodated pick up and drop off so you don't have to worry about getting a ride. I almost don't want to sell it. Highly recommended! read more

Todd is hands down the best in the business. He goes great lengths to make sure your car looks pristine. He is the most affordable I have ever seen. A dealership would cost you hundreds of dollars and probably wouldn't be as meticulous as Todd or as accommodating. read more

I was fortunate enough to find this gem after spending many hours searching for a detail shop that would do good work at a reasonable price. This place delivered on everything that I was looking for. Todd not only did excellent work, he did it at an excellent price. He detailed my Acura sedan very well, restored my headlight lenses to like-new condition and surprised me by removing a village sticker from my windshield that I had been struggling with for a few weeks, all without an additional charge. Bottom line: Once Over Car Care is exactly the type of business that every customer wants to work with, and they have gained my business for life. read more

This place is the best around. I called to make an appointment because I had scratched up my husband's new car on our garage. Todd was gracious enough to squeeze me in and he did a superb job bidding out the scratches and matching up the paint. I then made an appointment for my car to get detailed. The prices are unbeatable and the professionalism is superb! read more

The professionalism and attention to detail was amazing. The owner gave me a courtesy call the day before. This is not your average car wash that does detailing, thus is a car detailing center. My car looked phenomenal after he was done. This shop is ran by a man that has been in business for decades and has a passion for his craft. Highly recommended; I'll be back (Arnold voice). read more

I just had to revive my Yelp account for this place. AMAZING. I just got back from a detail and car wash. I am so happy!!! The owner was friendly and my car looks like I purchased it from the dealer. I'm honestly shocked at how great it looks! The owner really went above and beyond (I am so sorry for the horrific mess I came in with). I didn't think he would be so thorough- I'm a bit embarrassed that I brought it in so messy. But now it looks fantastic. Book ahead of time- he is busy for a reason! I can't wait to come back, and I'll be telling my friends and coworkers about this place! read more

I tried calling Once Over back in September for an emergency detail (the dog got sick in the car) but they were booked solid. We ended up going to another detailing place in Elmwood Park. I just recently called Once Over again because the reviews were so outstanding and I wish I would have waited for them the first time around! They totally exceeded expectations and my car looked brand new! Todd was amazing to work with. He even picked me up at home when the car was done. He really went above and beyond in any way he could. The prices are very reasonable as well. You can tell Todd is truly passionate about what he does and pleasing the customer. We will definitely be back! read more

What detail work! And he's honest, too. If the cost estimate is less, he actually charges the real cost! The attention to detail is fantastic, too. And he was forthright with me in that I can bring my car every 6 months for waxing work, but once a year for the big one that I came in for. I will be a repeat customer for sure! read more

Just had my 8 year old car done and it looks like new! Todd, the owner, is great to work with. Will definitely be returning again.

Price was fair and the gentleman which I assume is the owner was very courteous. Made an appointment and was promised the car by 3 pm which it was. I did an interior and exterior detail on my Ford Flex. Car looks great! I am very satisfied. All of the stains from my 2 boys were removed. Now that I have found this place, I will be back with my other vehicles. I would recommend this detail shop. read more

I called todd yesterday after my wife told me she had called other detailers in the area to detail her car. I had never been to his shop before but pass by it on belmont just about every day since its a block away from my house. My wife told me she didnt call them so i googled then yelped them for reviews. All the reviews were positive so i gave him a call yesterday (saturday). Todd picks up i asked him for a quote on my wifes car and he gives me a quote considerably less than others had given my wife. He tells me he is booked for the day but that he would be willing to detail my car tomorrow (sunday). He explained that his quote would cover the inside and under the hood. I explained to todd that my wife was given a quote which was higher than his and didnt include under the hood. He said others charge too much and he doesnt mind coming in lower than others. He said i can drop my car off in the afternoon before he closes and that when he gets in tomorrow morning he will get started on my car right away. I drop off my car and asked if he can buff out some minor scratches and if there was an extra charge. He tells me he can buff out minor scratches and wont charge extra but just to point them out to him first. Today i get a call from todd around noon telling me the car was ready. I go to pick up my car and its sitting out front looking nice and shiny. I notice that todd took the extra step and not only buffed out the scratches but also made one of my faded headlights clear to match the other side which had been replaced a year earlier when fixed in car accident. Todd was also able to buff out the scratches as well. My wifes Highlander looks beautiful and she is happy with the results as well. I would highly recommend you to shop around for quotes then give Todd a call for his quote. Todd is not only very friendly, but i get the impression that he loves doing what he does. It seems to be his passion to detail cars and he takes pride in the fact that he knows that others charge more, but that he can out perform all his competitors for a reasonable price. I would definitely use his services again and he is highly recommended. read more

Todd and his staff do an outstanding job! I'm so glad that I got my car detailing there. It looks absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

Family business with great attention to detail (no pun intended) and friendly, honest ways. Highly recommend! read more

Todd is the best. They have very reasonable rates and the work they do is incredible. Took my 15 year old suv that hadn't been cleaned in about 8 yrs. It was crusted with dirt in and out. His price was so reasonable I felt guilty and told him all he needed to do was the interior. He insisted and did a great job that made it look like new. He even refused a tip. Great guy and the best service. Highly recommended. read more

Finally a detailing place that know's what it means to clean! There is this saying, you can have fast, good,or cheap service, pick two! This is a GREAT place and Priced very well! Todd was booked for nearly 2 months and I just thought, has to be some serious work going on here! Also, Todd was very polite in scheduling my vehicle. After months of waiting, dropped it off in the back, asked me if there were any specific areas that need more attention (other places don't even ask that, this is a thoughtful and important question) and he told me he would call me when it was done. Got the truck back later that evening with amazing results! The interior/exterior was spotless! Didn't realize how dirty the leather seats had been until he cleaned them. Overall perfect detailing place. Don't expect to drop off your vehicle without an appt, you will be dissappointed, but the wait was well worth every dollar and time! I will be making another appt soon after Easter. Thanks for all you do! read more

Todd and his son are phenomenal. They did a very good job with my car (drive a new bimmer in case that helps other bimmer owners out there). I had it detailed as I ended up getting tar on it plus tar oil all around the car. My car ended up looking just like the day I drove it out of the car dealership. I highly recommend them!!! I will be back for complete detailing again. read more

Magic. That's what they performed on my car, which hadn't been detailed for the life of the vehicle (14 years!). Great job, inside and out. Worth every penny. read more

This place went above and beyond what I had ever expected or experienced in other places. Todd was extremely friendly and fit me into his busy schedule. He listened to every worry and request I had with my vehicle, as well as went above expectations. My car looked absolutely amazing once finished, as well as uses top quality products. I will definitely be coming back, as well as found a place I can trust. If you need a detailing or wash, look no further. read more

I had gotten some kind of overspray over my 4 door truck and was told by a detail shop it would be 300.00 to remove. I had called Once Over and explained my situation and told them what the other place wanted to charge. I made an appointment and as read and as I thought they removed it all and were professional, quick and to my surprise charged me less than they had quoted due to was not as bad as though. Any other place would have pocketed the difference and kept the same price but not OnceOver an honest business man running an honorable business that enjoys the work more than over charging his customers . In the end I will be a repeating customer bringing all my vehicles to them. read more

This has got to be one of the top five detail shops in all of Chicagoland. I watched the owner detail my daughter's VW Rabbit and when he was finished, it looked almost brand new. (The car is eight years old.) They have very reasonable pricing and obviously excellent workmanship. These guys are pros and they care more about doing quality work than making a ton of money. Would recommend to anyone without reservation. Consumers Checkbook lists his shop as one of the best in the area, and I totally agree with their rating! read more

unbelievable professional detailed car service. Todd is amazing when it comes to detailing your car. He books at least a month in advance. That's how busy and in high demand he is. Had a big black scratch on my car that I needed removed so I found this place on here. I needed a detail job badly also so I figured I'd try it out. Now when I called and made an appointment which was a few weeks away I was surprised and thought it was a good thing they were very busy cause they must do good work if they're that booked up. The day I dropped my car off was early in the morning and I had my car back within a few hours. Wow what a job they did. Huge black scratch looked like it was never even there. The interior and exterior super clean. I was very pleased and already recommended it people I know. The owner Todd was super friendly and a real professional. For the great job they did the price to me was very fair. Will definitely be back here. read more

Todd is the best! He knows his trade and takes pride in every car. He is extremely detail oriented and works on every car like it's his own.

Can't say enough about Once Over! They do an outstanding job. I needed my car detailed before selling it, and Todd made some great suggestions to clean just what was needed rather than do a full detail. My car looked so good, I reconsidered selling it! Not only did they do a great job but Todd saved me quite a bit of money, too. I'll be back with my new car - great service and great value...thanks, Once Over! read more

This is by far the best car detailing place around. I have been coming to Todd for 20 years+. I grew up in the neighborhood, lived in the city and currently live in Glenview and have always gone back to this location to have my cars and my family's cars washed and detailed. They do an awesome job of paying attention to the details of paint condition. bugs from road trips, and scratches that he can get out. Once Over is HIGHLY recommended. read more
