Loved it. Shout out to my girl to Rhonda! She's an awesome lady! She gave me this silly medication during my stay. It was awesome.

I was here for a conference this past week and felt like we were all commenting on how help everyone was. The location is convenient with many food options within walking distance. A plus was that the Kwik trip near it had the cheapest gas in the area. The outdoor fireplace was a great area to gather when catching some fresh air and staying warm. The rooms are a nice size and come with a mini fridge microwave and pod coffee maker. The free hot breakfast was actually really good. Loved the build your own breakfast sandwich. I will note this place is a bit confusing to navigate with lots of staircases and multiple ways to get to the same place. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clean 5. Spacious building 6. Comfortable beds 7. PULL TABS IN THE BAR?? YES AGAIN! 8. Adult games in the bar! (Big Jenga, Pool, darts) 9. Indoor/outdoor pool (The hot tub wasn't working when we were there which was a huge reason I booked the hotel but overall pleased with this hotel) 10. Continental breakfast (could have been a little better but hey it's something!) 11. Small store- the kids picked out ice cream (Win!) Love the log cabin theme. Would have been a 5 if the hot tub was open.

There were signs posted for quiet time after 10pm but hockey team ignored signage. A lot of people complained but staff didn't seem to correct it. We brought earplugs which helped. However it didn't help for others below them. Breakfast was standard fare with egg omelettes and sausages along with oatmeal. My wife tried their red velvet waffles 1st day but not 2nd day. Pool was crowded so avoided it. Room is tight squeeze but nice having fridge and microwave. Lobby lounge is nicely renovated as well as breakfast seating area. Front desk acknowledge my diamond reward level with snacks and soda.

The rooms were average size and clean. The morning breakfast was adequate with fresh fruit, pastries, breakfast potatoes, sausage, cereal, waffles, and more. On Wednesday's bt 5-6:30pm they offer free beer, wine, soda, flavored water and small bags of Frito Lay snacks. Free coffee in the lobby 24/7. A complimentary bag of snacks on check out. Could do better: We requested a quiet room and it wasn't. The back side of the hotel has a busy street that runs past it and that's where our room was located. The "patio" was also on this noisy street and only two tables, no grass or plants not very inviting. We requested housekeeping upon checkin and we didn't get any housekeeping. The manager did adjust our rate for this miss which I appreciated. Would I stay again? Yes the location is great! I would try a room on the front side of the building.

What we though would be a few days trip ended up being a month-long roller coaster ride and through it all, the Grand Stay was incredibly accommodating. My brother, sister and I stayed in a 2-bedroom suite, which is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed and the kitchen was most helpful. Taylor & cleaning crew swapped out towels and took out trash when needed, Tracy, Tiffany & Monica handled last minute revision updates without hesitation, and Anthony kept us laughing at breakfast. When running into Justin (maintenance), he was always sure to ask if everything is ok. The 3 of us would begin our day very early in the morning in the back of the breakfast area getting work done on our computers, then upon return, very late into the night, in our unofficial office and Gina always made sure we had fresh hot water for our tea. The hotel is located on the beautiful Mississippi River and is within walking distance of the historic downtown area. Our room was clean, the breakfast hot and the lobby/community areas relaxing. Oh - and thank goodness for on-site guest laundry! The crew at the Grand Stay all worked together to make a difficult time as easy on us as they possibly could, and I will even go as far as to say we made friends during our month together. Sincerely, the "414 Team"
