Bath tub was very slippery. Get a anti slip! & Lack of a luggage cart. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay read more

As a Choice member I was greeted at the door with bottled water and a snack. That was nice. Our room was clean, new hvac, new bathroom, it was great. Breakfast was great too. Pool looked nice even though we didn't partake. Would stay again. read more

After stay here in June I had an issue with the room. I called the front desk and was told they would be up to take care of it. After waiting an hour I decided not to call the desk again because I was upset and knew it would not the time to call. To have any of the outlets to have power I had to leave the light on all night. With using a Cpap it was my only option. Check out in the morning and was told that I would be refunded and was told if I didn't see a refund with in a week to call and talk to a manager. I've call and was told 3 different times that the manager was not available and they would call me back. NOTHING. Sent a message and was told to call and ask for the manager. It's now the end of August and I still have not heard for anyone. read more

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, free breakfast in the morning (pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc)... What else does a person need? Ron assisted with questions that my parents had and Angie was concerned with the quality of our stay (don't get that very often). When we are back in the area, this will be our choice to stay. Thanks for a great weekend! read more

Apparently elevators are considered extra. Don't come here unless you want to lug your stuff upstairs. Night clerk didn't even notify us. After I complained and asked for a discount, miraculously rooms on the first floor appeared. Never again!!! read more

Friendly staff, no issues with the room or the hotel itself. (Except that the power went out briefly when we arrived!) :) The location is great as you are in walking distance to a Sam's Club, Panera, grocery store and other things if you need to pick up stuff for your travels. Gas station also extremely close by. Even though it was right by the highway, and we had a room facing Sam's/highway, it was very quiet. Breakfast was decent. They had hot foods (eggs, sausage) which is always nice to see. They are going to be building a restaurant right next to the hotel, too, which I'm sure will make it even better for people staying there. read more

A very nice experience. I was a little worried because of some of the negative reviews. I got this on a deal about $70 at checkout. It's a little older but very clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The guy at the desk was very friendly. We on a motorcycle trip and they even had covered parking for the bikes. Close to tons of restaurants that you can walk to. I usually have to pay well over $100 for a place like this. read more

This is probably not the fanciest hotel in the La Crosse area, but still it's a pretty nice hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff seemed a bit stretched thin. I think if I'm back in the area I'll seriously consider staying at this hotel again. read more

We've had good luck with Comfort Inn's in other cities. Not this one. People occupying the room before us had smoked. Frankly, the room stunk. Although the employee at the front desk apologized she said there was no other room we could move to. A cleaning lady agreed our room was unsatisfactory and said the manager would at least compensate us because our room was so rank. However, our written request to the manager was ignored. read more

Just checked in. We got moved from Days Inn for a night cuz that hotel was booked for the FBLA so our job put us here. Never having stayed in a Comfort Inn I have nothing to compare it to. First impressions, staff was nice. They even put in a request to have breakfast start early in the morning for us drivers, we'll see in the morning. Got to my room, for it being a non-smoking hotel, it smells like old cigarettes. Guess when they passed the laws, (how many years ago?) they didn't change anything out. I'm a smoker & have a dog & my house doesn't smell this bad! The beds in my room (206) are dipped in the middle. The pillows are to die for tho if you like soft pillows, almost feel like memory foam. I'm just glad we're going back to our original hotel. read more

This hotel is what you'd expect from a comfort inn. You probably won't be disappointed or blown away if you stay here. The room was a little dusty and smelled a little musty but other than that, it appeared clean. Girl at the desk was helpful and friendly. This place was much cheaper than the others hotels in La Crosse. read more

I stayed here on 7-24-19. I am adding this review because a motel as nice as this one needs positive comments. I was looking for the place I had stayed as I am traveling that way again and was amazed at the reviews posted. It was very nice. My room was very good - looked all new. The bed was very comfy. Inside areas were nice too. Pool smallish but looked fine. Outside update in progress. Elevator was being worked on. Breakfast was great, area attractive and everyone helpful. They even had peeled the hard boiled eggs! I would stay there again. read more

Upon arrival the attendant was very friendly and helpful!!! The room is very nice and clean.

First, anyone who gives this hotel any stars must not mind dirt and rundown places. This place puts the FILTH in FILTHY. I think it will be a LONG TIME before we stay in another Comfort Inn irregardless who owns it. Booked this hotel in August for team soccer tournament. Arrived Sat. 10/21/17 afternoon to be checked into a room on the 1st floor. We opened the door and your eyes watered. The smell was musty and the carpet was stained. We immediately opened the window and shut the door. However, the door wasn't locking shut. We informed the front desk whom walked down to verify. Also mentioned smell which he acted like "what smell". He asked us to come inside the room and explained that the hotel was booked. We told him that we couldn't stay in a room that didn't lock. We ended up getting another room on the same floor, this one didn't smell as bad but the maid said she would fog it while we were at our soccer game. And yes, she showed us this gadget called the FOGGER JR. After some thought, we realized some of that smell was pet urine. And don't let hotel pics fool you--they are not from this era. We returned to the hotel with the boys, we were unable to get into our new room. I stayed in the hallway while the others went to see about our room keys. After almost ten minutes, I walked down to see what was happening. I turned the corner and saw our luggage sitting on a luggage rack. It turns out the hotel overbooked and messed our reservations up...Thus, evicting us. I begin to question how their mess up could cause them to not honor our stay, we had already check-in? We had a confirmation #? We gave them our cc? The rude man in an ACDC t-shirt behind the desk kept over talking me. When we had asked him for a copy of our paperwork, the paperwork we signed upon check-in, giving him a credit card, he said that it had been shredded and that we were not charged. We demanded to speak to a manager and/or owner which that mouthy man said "no" and told that we were making a scene in front of his customers. When I challenged that remarked, he told us to leave or he would call the police. You bet then I called him the axx he was and we left that stinky, dirty, foul place. I'd rather stay in my vehicle then stay at this dump. And if these people are a reflection of Choice Hotels customer service, good luck! I would fire them all. No way does this property meets the standards that we have been experiencing at other Comfort Inns. **update: I tried to post our review to this particular hotels website and it will not let me. It seems as though our confirmation number IS UNVAILD, how convenient. read more

I would say you get what you pay for but I just paid almost 150/night for this place. Worth maybe 70/night at most. Needs tons of updating. No smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Pool super tiny and old. Needs tons of work. Skip it stay down the road at a better place. Pictures on website very misleading - probably taken years ago. read more

Rooms are decent, there was water leaking everywhere in the hallway, no elevator, a non-smoking room smells terribly of smoke, the microwave does not function and the lobby printer also does not work. The hotel also has tons of trash and items spread through their property in the parking lot. read more

We are here for a couple of days for a family function and are staying at this Comfort inn. Very nice staff, clean room and breakfast is better than most. We are enjoying our stay due to the friendly staff that take pride in providing quality service. This will be our go to place on our next visit. read more

Good for the price and the hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles) is good. Room was clean and nothing negative to talk about. Free wifi. We had a small refrigerator and microwave and across the street is a grocery store. read more

I had some family and friends stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and it was great. Really nice rooms, great breakfast and reasonably priced! highly recomended! read more

clean room, clean bathroom, good beds, nice bedding with comforter and several pillows, nice flat screen tv with cable. downside.....breakfast bar pretty lame.....3 cereals for example: frosted flakes, fruit loops, raisin bran.....most likely generic.....hard to find anything offered with nutritional value. no fridge or micro in my room. if you get a good rate, it's a good place to stay. read more

Poor service. Room wasn't cleaned for our second night. Sheets didn't fit the bed. Will not be coming back.

What an amazing place. We got there at 11:00 pm dog tired after a day of driving. The young guy at the desk was super friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. Two queen beds and good firm mattresses? The bathroom was spotless and the room smelled clean. The sheets were crisp and thick, like they were newer ones. That is a big thing for me. We stayed in some places not as nice so this was a great discovery. I didn't eat the free breakfast as I wanted to get in the road so I can't comment on that. We hit the Panera nearby and then got back on I 90. ( for the chai and the good bread ). What I can say is this was the least expensive room we had in a week of travel and clearly the best and the cleanest. A great value. read more
