This place is so disgusting, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Bugs everywhere! Mold in the AC unit.. Just gross.

Wow, newly renovated hotel looks better inside than outside. We had the 2 queen room with fridge and microwave. TV was nice 50 inch size which entertained our son. There were signs posted for quiet time after 10pm but hockey team ignored signage. A lot of people complained but staff didn't seem to correct it. We brought earplugs which helped. However it didn't help for others below them. Breakfast was standard fare with egg omelettes and sausages along with oatmeal. My wife tried their red velvet waffles 1st day but not 2nd day. Pool was crowded so avoided it. Room is tight squeeze but nice having fridge and microwave. Lobby lounge is nicely renovated as well as breakfast seating area. Front desk acknowledge my diamond reward level with snacks and soda. read more

Good: Location is within a couple blocks from the Riverview Park, restaurants and shopping. Georgie at check-in was a wonderful ambassador for the hotel. She was friendly and warm. The rooms were average size and clean. The morning breakfast was adequate with fresh fruit, pastries, breakfast potatoes, sausage, cereal, waffles, and more. On Wednesday's bt 5-6:30pm they offer free beer, wine, soda, flavored water and small bags of Frito Lay snacks. Free coffee in the lobby 24/7. A complimentary bag of snacks on check out. Could do better: We requested a quiet room and it wasn't. The back side of the hotel has a busy street that runs past it and that's where our room was located. The "patio" was also on this noisy street and only two tables, no grass or plants not very inviting. We requested housekeeping upon checkin and we didn't get any housekeeping. The manager did adjust our rate for this miss which I appreciated. Would I stay again? Yes the location is great! I would try a room on the front side of the building. read more

Had a great stay here. super comfortable. Breakfast available. Thanks so much! A great stay

It was okay for one night and I was only staying there because I had an early morning flight out of the La Crosse airport the next morning. The room was clean but I did have a concern about the door (picture attached). I was concerned about all the space around the door. If I wasn't so tired I would have changed rooms. The door still seemed to lock but to be safe I pushed my large heavy suitcase against the door. read more

Hampton Inn Lacrosse/Onalaska - Hotels Near Me - Onalaska, Wisconsin

If there is one thing Hampton is known for, it's consistency. While some properties have been a bit nicer than others, I have never been disappointed with any Hilton property. The one thing that makes this Hampton stand out from ANY other hotel I have ever stayed with, is the extra mile. If you put your "DND" (Do Not Disturb) sign out, they put additional soap, shampoo, lotion, and extra towels outside your door. When I travel, I typically work nights. Hence, I put my DND sign out because I am usually sleeping. This way I don't have to call down to the front desk for towels, etc. Its a little thing, but goes a long way with me. There are Lots of restaurants within walking distance, Including BWW, Outback Steakhouse, Fridays, Perkins, Olive Garden, and more. There is a Wal-mart and Home Depot next door. read more

My husband and I have been staying in Hampton Inns all across the country this summer, using up the free nights he built up traveling last year. We didn't have any more freebies but it was the best deal for the wedding we attended because the bridal couple had a block of rooms reserved here at a very reasonable rate of 109.00. This Hampton was pretty typical of a Hampton for the linens, bathroom, beds and room configuration. They were booked solid and did a great job getting us in quickly, making up the room, etc. Where it differs greatly is in the lobby - no pantry store! And an abbreviated brunch/sitting area. However the pool area was much bigger and with great natural light. Toss it all in the pot and I would say it evened out to a four. I would stay here again, especially for the special rate we had! read more

What a great experience. From check-in to check-out of my one night stay, I was so pleased with this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during my check-in and check-out. The room was clean and had some new, modern finishes. The bed was comfortable and there was ample storage if you had to stay there for a few nights. My room was near the elevator, which I could hear which was a bummer but after 10pm not many people were coming and going so it didn't keep me awake. I would absolutely stay here again if I had the need. read more

After a very unfavorable experience at the Country Inn on Rose Street Corrin and her staff were a refreshing expected change. They were more than wiling to help us with anything we needed during our stay . I definitely recommend and will stay at this location when we visit our daughter while she's attending college at UW LaCrosse. Carol Ann from Franklin read more

First time here and I really enjoyed my stay so far. Front desk and staff are very helpful and welcoming. There is a laundry room you can do your own laundry. Complimentary wifi is available. Hot breakfast is good, too. If you come early then there isn't as much of a rush. I will definitely come again if in the area again. read more

Nice Hotel. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast is average but it was good. You could get a whole breakfast The Hotel has soup out in the evening which everyone appreciated. The staff was fun in that they left rubber ducks in the bathroom. Rooms were clean and very welcoming at the end of a day read more

After a rough start to our track meet weekend at Country Inn rose st, Corrine & her staff at Hampton Inn Onalaska WI were very friendly, kind and most accommodating to all our needs/requests. We will stay there again when visiting our daughter in college. Carol from Franklin wi read more

Well-kept property is your first clue that you are staying at a great place. Check-in was quick and easy, and we appreciated the pool area and the many restaurant choices within minutes of the hotel. Our kids enjoyed the pool area, and the breakfast was nice ... my only wish is that there were more gluten-free options. We happened to stay on a weekend when they were completely booked due to 3 events going on in the area, yet the staff and atmosphere remained calm and serene. read more

I travel for work and mostly stay at Hilton properties. This Hampton Inn stood out to me because of the friendliness and level of service provided by the staff. I arrived late due to a late flight and the front desk attendant made sure I had water for the night. The room was very clean. I am a stickler for checking the bathroom upon arrival and everything was spotless. The maids did an excellent job with the daily cleaning service. The breakfast staff was friendly and accommodating. One day my heater wasn't working. She I got back there was a card in the door letting me know it had been fixed. read more

Old Hampton that was remodeled. Water in the bathtub wouldn't drain so you were showering in your own filth. ..ick!! Awesome breakfast & Wonderful Bed!!! We would come back. read more

A little too pricey for the location but good accomodations and rooms. Everyone was very nice in this small town! Hotel is located very close to restraunts and shopping. read more

Your run of the mill Hampton Inn with nothing exceptional except for a plethora of food options in the vicinity. They are Wisconsin Friendly here so you don't need to worry about fighting with a front desk person to get you some tooth paste packets because you haven't felt like buying toothpaste in two months. read more

160 bucks a night. I've stayed in nicer hotels downtown for less. This hotel was nothing special and the room was pretty outdated. Kind of a funny musty smell to it. I'm not sure why this place was so expensive. The housekeeping staff left a note when we checked in, which was polite, but seemed like an attempt to get a tip. There was also a sticky note on our bed telling us the bed was clean. Um. So, sometimes it's not clean? The full breakfast was pretty nice. The iron ruined my dress shirt by spraying calcium build-up all over it. read more

I only gave them 1 star because I couldn't put 0. I was told that it was 18+ on all emails and on the website they then refused me a room because they said it was 21+ without ever notifying me. It is also very overpriced compared to the hotels in the area I would suggest going to one of those. read more

This is a below average Hampton Inn. They do not recognize Hilton HHonors benefits, have not been updated in awhile, are a "party" hotel (eg cater to large invitational/tournaments that are loud and noisy) and have a marginal breakfast. The only high light is the rubber ducky that they leave in the room. We are looking forward to the new Hampton Inn to open in La Crosse, and hope that it is not ran by the same management as this one. read more

When I travel Hampton Inn is usually my favorite place to stop just because I looove the bedding. This location is tricky because it is not exactly off Exit 5 it is about a mile into the exit. It is a remodeled building. The room with a king bed is spacious, bathroom is a little small but not a deal breaker. I'm not too sure if it's worth the $115 on weekends but there is hot complementary breakfast. There is Outback Steak House (H&S) across the street so you can walk. It's night so I can't really see what else is around except a few stores including a Home Depot. The receptionist was nice she looked surprised when I walked on and asked "what brings you here?" Hmmm... I will leave that alone. Nonetheless she was friendly. The parking lot is a bit dark on all sides of the building. The air condition was quiet and that is a BIG plus. The shower head was really good and relaxing. I say 2 stats because if I planned this better I would have chosen a newer Hampton Inn closer to the Interstate. read more

Our stay at the Hampton was everything I would have expected from a Hampton. Rooms were clean, nice shower heads. Free breakfast was delicious and there was something for everyone. The pool was a little small, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Beds were comfy. Staff was very, very friendly. read more

My third visit at this hotel and I love it! The reception staff is so friendly and check in is very quick. The rooms are spacious and clean. Love the microwave and refrigerator...most hotels don't offer this convenience. The fresh breakfast is nice and they offer a variety of foods. My only complaint is that the sound proofing could be better. You can hear people walking get on the floor above you which is quite a distraction. read more
