Every time we asked for a simple cocktail, it was oh we don't have cranberry juice up here,or simple syrup like it was unattainable?? It was like everyone was grumpy, like they were annoyed. I take this to mean the management is sloppy and the wait staff has to constantly improvise. It's not like the hotel has 24 floors? Asked for shaved Parmesan, for the pizza. The bar service acted like I was asking for moon cheese! Grudgingly they said no we don't have any here in the rooftop bar. We attempted to check in an hour and a half after your posted check-in time, only to be told that the room would not be available for another hour or so. I was assured that I would receive a text message when the room was ready. After receiving no notification, we returned two hours later, only to discover that my name had never actually been added to the lengthy list of guests waiting for their reserved rooms. We were then left waiting in the lobby with all of our belongings. This reservation was made months in advance for a one-night stay. Being unable to access our room until four hours after your posted check-in time is completely unacceptable. Even at 6:30 p.m., guests were still arriving to check into their previously reserved rooms and being added to the growing waitlist. This clearly suggests a much larger operational failure than an isolated mistake. Additionally, I had specifically reserved a handicap-accessible room, yet the shower did not appear to meet ADA accessibility requirements. This is particularly concerning when accessibility is a specific reason for selecting a room. Although I made my reservation through Expedia, I am also a Choice Privileges member. I contacted your corporate guest relations team to report the situation, but my concerns were seemingly brushed aside rather than meaningfully addressed. When a property is unable to fulfill its basic obligations to guests, there should be an effective process for resolving those concerns. The lack of accountability and meaningful support leaves me questioning whether these failures begin at the property level or extend to corporate leadership. To make matters worse, we were surrounded by loud and disruptive guests well into the early morning hours, including screaming, slamming doors, and children running up and down the hallways. Therefore, even after the unacceptable check-in experience, we were unable to enjoy the room we had waited hours to access. Perhaps the most egregious part of this experience is that I was charged $335 for what was, quite frankly, an appalling stay."

It was so nice for my husband and I to have our own privacy and my 2 teenagers could hang loose and sleep when they were ready. That made a for a more relaxing stay. I did use the kitchen area to make a small meal for our family. Nicest part was not having to do the dishes. It included a dishwasher. The front desk staff went well above and beyond helping my daughter looking for a outlet charger for her tablet since she left hers at home. Only one small negative was that the pool is very small. We are planning to be in the La Crosse area next summer and definitely plan on staying here again!

I am having a difficult time accepting that there are no refund exceptions for simple human error. The time from reservation until cancellation was approximately 25 minutes. The room was not kept from available inventory, nor did I cause a loss of revenue. The room could have easily been re-booked by somebody else. I have reached out to the property several times to resolve this issue via phone and email. There has been absolutely zero response from management. This seems like extremely shady business practice.

The next day I was told that "my wife " knocked on the door and was told "everything was fine- didn't need anything". But, I was not there- I was at the hospital all day and evening. I could not have responded to her knock. Unfortunately this seems to be the only motel in W Salem. Her apartment is in W Salem. Driving further into La Crosse is inconvenient. This is a dilemma because I will need to return periodically to be with my sister.
