EDIT THEY ARE LYING…read more
First off, I didn't have any ingrown (actually impossible for me to have one because I had the side of my nail cutoff to prevent that in my youth because it use to be an issue) I was just referring to the tool that is typically used to lift the nail corners out from underneath not when they are embedded, etc, just some lift, that same tool is also used to get dirt out from underneath the nails. When I worked in warehouses nail techs would use it for embedded sock fuzz.
Secondly, I couldn't drop everything I was doing that day I CALLED, to come in. I told the woman over the phone that I had an appointment or errand in Reynoldsburg that day and a ready toddler and it's a 48-minute drive. A picture and videos should suffice, I asked for a refund that day over the phone. What are you going to do? While I'm already annoyed (like my toe throbbed 24/7), cancel plans, appointments, etc, to drive 28 minutes to show you my infected toe with a hyper toddler?
Thirdly MY COMMENTS WERE REMOVED FROM YOUR FACEBOOK POST ON Mar 21, the one with the blue nails, and that's when I asked for a refund AGAIN.
FOURTH I asked her if I could send over pictures instead of coming in I was busy, the next day I had jury duty in Columbus which is an hour 12... I was told to come in still. I spent 167 and included a 40 dollar tip I want the refund back for the botched pedicure. I tipped even after the shit manicure experience and asking for one of your files to fix the shape in the car, she already moved onto the next client so I didn't want to bother her.
****A woman doesn't want time saved when she's getting her nails done on a Sunday, a rushed job is the worst especially when you have a kid and finally have a babysitter.****
I THINK I WAS JUDGED BY MY APPEARANCE AND SHE ASSUMED I WASN'T GOING TO TIP WELL SO SHE DIDN'T TREAT ME RIGHT.
They deleted my comments on a recent post about my experience, so I doubt this review will be as thorough. I'm not new to getting my nails done. I've gotten pedicures and acrylics for 10-plus years but stopped briefly when I had my daughter. I was previous about it, if I broke a nail I'd be in the same day to fix it. I just moved to the area from Columbus, Pickerington and subpar for sure! I went based on the 5-star reviews which there's incentive for those, they hand out keychains if you show them you left a positive review. My nail tech did a rushed job, she didn't use the tool for ingrown nails or dirt under the nails which is my favorite part and brings relief, thankfully I have one of those tools at home. The part that had me asking for a refund, I got an infection on a toe... I suspected paronychia! They wanted me to come back in but it's a 30-minute drive, and I have a 3-year-old, I had scheduled appointments the following days and that day, I had an appointment a hour 12 in Columbus, one in Reynoldsburg 48 minutes, etc, I then ended up with a toddler who had the flu and me sick, the vomiting kind. I provided pictures and asked for a refund. I tipped 40 dollars. Even after the nail tech DID MY MANICURE IN THE PEDICURE CHAIR WHICH IS A RED FLAG and not a luxurious experience the shape was so poor I asked for a nail file to fix them in the car on my own. She cut my natural nails so short I had no white left too! But I still didn't complain until that infection developed. Also so alcohol on Sundays. I just wanted a refund for the pedicure.
Also why wasn't cuticle oil used on me after my mani?
