My driver, Dean, was an absolute professional and one of the kindest men you will ever meet! He was always early and always helpful, and I never had to ask him to do anything. Never would use these guys again. They wanted to cancel my car on me just a few hours before they were to pick me up (and after the event they were supposed to pick me up from had started). Apparently, someone's late plane at the airport was my problem, despite that I was right where I said I would be at the time I said I would be there. The only fix they offered was to set me up with another service who wanted me to pay for an additional hour of service I didn't need. And they refused to cover the difference despite that the only mistake made was their overbooking their car. I spent an hour of my event on the phone with these turkeys during my event, despite having the foresight to make a RESERVATION early. I ended up with a smaller car than I reserved, with no discount for the grief. Unacceptable. read more

I had a date scheduled for tonight, so I wanted to do something special and unexpected for a first date. I ordered a limo from On Time Limousine. It was really nice, all decked out, had champagne on ice and the works. The problem was, I got stood up! LOL. The driver was really professional and understanding. The driver, Dean, was courteous, friendly, and according to my mom, had an excellent sense of humor. He dropped her off and picked her up on time and with a smile. A month before the wedding, we decided to book a limo for the pre-ceremony photos. I went on yelp and found wonderful review regarding On Time Limousine. It was also a plus that they were a local Berkeley vendor. I called them up and spoke with James. James was so nice and helpful and helped me book a reservations within 30 minutes. The limo arrived on time (which is so key). The driver was so nice and flexible. We took pictures at the Berkeley Rose Gardens and on the UC Campus. And we wanted to spend more time taking photos on the campus that we asked the limo driver to meet us back at our wedding ceremony site in 45 minutes so that we can pick up our bags from his car. I called to make our reservation about 5 days before Christmas Eve and it was a piece of cake. Our flight was 1.5 hours delayed, we missed Church with the family, and it took us almost 2.3 hours with traffic to reach our destination....but all that was forgotten with the service and attitude of our driver. Our driver was courteous, timely, and knowledgeable about how to reach our destination. He had light jazz music playing and waters available. James is the best! We used On Time Limo for my daughter's Senior Prom two weeks ago. James communicated with us in a very timely manner, answered zillions of questions, and remained very patient with us as I tried to put this together for 8 kids. They were on time (as their name says,) and the driver was extremely "chill" according to the kids. He called me a few times throughout the evening to tell me what was going on and dropped them off safely at their after party. I will definitely use them again. This review is way overdue - We LOVE On Time Limo! We always had trouble finding a car service that was reliable. They just couldn't "find" our home in the Oakland Hills (even with detailed instructions). I did some on-line research and found On Time Limo and was impressed with their great reviews. My husband, after grilling them on the phone about whether they would be reliable and able to find our house (James was as professional as he always is), we decided to try them. And, yes, true to their word - they found us and were completely reliable. Well, maybe once, when a new driver was working there was a little hiccup, but for 7 years we used them exclusively, and we were completely satisfied. Our reservations were always easily made & confirmed. The cars were always clean, comfortable and plenty of water available. Scheduling a 5 hour limo service with James was easy and efficient. I booked at least 3-4 months ahead of time & James reminded me that prom season would be in full swing at that time. As their name implies, they were "on time" for pick up to and from the airport. Very courteous and respectful drivers. Clean cars. My only "complaint" would be that I was quoted one total price for the round trip airport transfer. However, it wasn't split 50/50. Payment is expected at the end of each ride. On Time was an excellent service. They took me and my family to and from SFO for a vacation in Hawaii! As stated they were always on time professional and the limo was very nice. While most other companies said they could not fit our party due to the size (8 people) on timemade it happen and with room to spare. On our return I had a text waiting for me when we landed as to the location of the limo. Agian on time and great service. Dean is the hardest working man in the limo buiness. Worst limo experience I have ever had. I ordered a 10 person limo for my mothers 60th birthday and they sent an 8 person limo. You can imagine how awkward it is to have 9 people ready to go to a birthday party and only have seats for eight. The owner acknowledged we had ordered a 10 person limo but said he didn't have another one available. When I explained how upsetting this was he said that this had gone beyond words and he was going to come to my house to teach me a lesson. I've had terrible customer service before but never had a company threaten violence. There are plenty of other limo companies, don't roll the dice on these amateurs. read more

Fellow Yelpers, I am forever indebted to you for recommending this great limo service. I hired On Time Limo for my wedding this past month and I am so happy that I did! These guys are very cool and true to their name. They were early for our pickup and handled a very sticky situation when my husband accidentally called another limo company instead of confirming the one I'd already booked with On Time. When two limos arrived at the hotel, we had no idea what to do, but our driver from On Time handled everything and we were never charged for the extra limo from the other company. Riding in the limo was very fun, the girls and I all had champaign and blasted the radio. Our driver took care of my getaway suitcase and all our bags and even delivered our hair flowers to us at the hotel so our stylist could place them in our hair before we left. They were early again when it was time for our getaway, so they had plenty of time to pack up our suitcases and cake before our grand exit. I've had two experiences with James: the first, he waited for I believe 3 hours because our flight was late - we called him from the curb and he was there in something like 10 seconds. Our driver, Dean, called exactly 30 minutes before he picked us up (and was exactly ON TIME), and was a huge help to us as we scrambled to get everything ready and in the car. He drove like he has some familiarity with vehicle laws (I know, it ought to be a given, but it isn't), and was very helpful in unloading us at the airport. He also arranged for our return pickup, and I had a text from DEAN on my phone as soon as I turned on my phone after the plane landed. We just used OnTime Limo for our wedding last weekend. The price was very fair,as we had car service for 11 hours. The limo was kind of a tight squeeze for the 10 of us, but several of us are on the larger size. The drivers were professional, on time, and friendly. When my mother went to tip our driver, he politely informed her the tip was included. My mom tipped him anyway for being honest. I would strongly recommend OnTime for anyone planning a wedding. I called to rent a car with driver to move a twin bed from the seller, the guy told me he had no man at hand but promised to call me 2 hours later. Then he called me again and unfortunately there was no car available either. 15 minutes later he called again and arranged a car to arrive at about 1pm. But later I received a phone call from another man offering to do the hauling for me, it turned out that the Limousine could not do it because of the expense or something and found this man for me on craiglist. And in the end, I went with the guy, who also kindly gave me a ride as an exception to how he usually does business. Echoing the rest of the good reviews here. They responded promptly to an email requesting a quote, and were very friendly and helpful on the phone when I made the reservation. What's more, after I gave my address, I was told the price would actually be less than what they had quoted before, even though I had already agreed to it! The final price was barely more expensive than a taxi would have been. Had a pickup for a sedan ride to OAK scheduled at 4:45 AM on Thanksgiving, they called around 4:15 as promised, and the driver showed up at 4:40. We chose On Time because of the great reviews and after hearing some nightmares about other companies. We wanted a safe and uneventful ride for 8 highschoolers attending their prom. The limo arrived early and all finances were handled over the phone so no one had to pay when they came back at 1am. The comments from the kids, "It was amazing" and "We had the best driver there". It was raining when the prom ended and the On Time driver came into the event to guide the kids to the car. All the other kids had to wind their way among all the other cars in the rain trying to find their rides. And the price was the same as all the other "prom limo" companies. Thanks On Time! All emails and questions were answered in a timely fashion. Limo was on time, of course. Driver was respectful and punctual as we had stops through Richmond, Berkeley, SF and Oakland. Got a bottle of champagne cuz it was my birthday. Please remember to tip the driver! I had such a good time (and a few drinks) that I remembered only AFTER he dropped us off. Just used them for drop off and pickup from San Francisco airport with my family. Clean cars, professional, friendly and safe drivers, and on time. They also provided a car seat for my 15 month old son (you need to to book in advance) which saved us from carrying a car seat with us. They are a bit expensive but worth it. What can I say that hasn't been said in the other 5-star reviews? When you are traveling to the airport with a family and small kids, you cannot go wrong. On time. Lincoln Town car with two boosters already installed, plenty of room for all the luggage, and cartoon already rolling in the seatbacks (crucial when you are attempting to catch a 7am flight out of SFO and you live East Bay). For returns, you tell them what flight and date and time... and they confirm the day before and then show up ON TIME to pick you up. Totally professional. read more

Some friends and I recently used this limousine service and unfortuntely, they have tried to add false additional charges to my friend's bill. I have to say that our use in this limo was the tamest experience I've ever had in a limo. Our party was half asleep on the way home and not from being drunk. I think we're just getting old. Nontheless, the driver falsely claimed that the 8 of us made a huge mess and even spilled liquor all over the limo. That would be true for most other limo experiences I've had, but it certainly wasn't for this one. My friend is now having to take legal action after they have refused to remove these additional charges. I would not trust these guys with my cc number in their hands! read more
