BO WAS GREAT! I had a medical procedure to go to in redwood city. Bo was of course on time, came up with me to confirm with nurse he would be my driver home, was extremely lovely human being who took the turns and bumps slowly as best he could after my procedure and on way home. We had a plane leaving OAK at 6:30AM. We live on our boat at Emery Cove Marina, Emeryville. Set up for Marvin Towncar Services to pick us up at 5AM at the Marina. (Which I feel is a bit unusual). Marvin Towncar Service is #1! I have used this service for transportation to and from OAK and SFO airports over many, many years. On my last trip, our flight was super late with arrival time of 1:30am. My friend that was traveling with me needed help getting home due to the late delay. All I had to do was notify Marvin Towncar Services and they made arrangements to accommodate her. When picking us up we were greeted with a smile and reassurance that all was well. We were finally on our way home. My friend was dropped off at her Belmont home, and then we were enroute to my home in Oakland. Upon arrival at my home, the driver assisted me with my bags and waited until I was inside safe and sound. Used Marvin TownCar Services for the first time and I will definitely use them again. From beginning to end the service was outstanding. The website is easy to use. After booking I had some questions and they were very responsive. I booked a pickup from SFO while I was still in the air our driver Olyad texted me to let me know to contact him when we were ready for pickup. Once we had our bags he was there less than 5 minutes later to pick us up. He got us settled into the car, loaded our bags and had cold water waiting for us. I used to use Bayporter and SuperShuttle back in the day. Lyft and Uber stress me out with a nagging feeling of what am I going to get with my request.....With Marvin TownCar the online reservations were incredibly easy, I had zero issues finding availability for my red eye time slot, my driver was warm/friendly/professional and nice to my kids. The SUV's we had were immaculate. All in I have used their service for airport transport with my family and now for work. We could not possibly recommend Marvin TownCar more highly! We have used them for several years, usually to SFO from Mandana Blvd in Oakland. The drivers are professional yet friendly and good safe drivers. They always arrive about 10 minutes before the set time. Just as our airplane lands at SFO, the driver texts and lets us know the license plate number and the kind of vehicle. We had ANOTHER fantastic experience with Marvin Car. We ordered one years ago for just one trip and had never done before. Now, we can't go to the airport without them. Michael is amazing and the service is perfect, on time, great communication, beautiful car inside and out, no walking and they even check our delayed flights. (ugh) so we don't have to do a thing. We are both teachers so we have a budget , but this falls under our stress and health allotment as it has saves us undue nervous energy and family stress with loading car, getting there on time, will we get picked up or not picked up, and the exhaustion at the end of trip is over as soon as we get picked up at the airport. Marvin is a consummate professional. His gentle manner ensures a smooth ride and he's always on time. Recently we gave Marvin the wrong date for a pick-up, causing him to needlessly go to the airport. When we offered to pay for our mistake, he refused and told us that he was just happy it had all been sorted out. Talk about taking the "customer is always right" ethos to heart (even though we were clearly wrong)! Marvin uses Square on his iPhone, so you can easily pay him via credit card. They failed to pick me up early in the morning. No one answered their phone at that hour. I waited half an hour and then had to rush to catch my flight with an Uber. At 7 that evening, I received a text pretending they were waiting outside my door. What were they trying to pretend to be doing.
