Steps to enter and also to use facilities. -- Menu Fair selection including daily specials (which are the best value on the menu). Was ok but a little too well done for me. Also came with a big potato croquette that again had lots of cheese in it (not to my taste) and the vegetables were overcooked. Mushy green beans are not the best. -- Service Friendly but the entrees took a long time to come even though there were only 2 tables there.

The building itself was built in the 1870's and has been a restaurant now for 42 years. It's got quite a bit of charm to it. We ordered their saganaki for an appetizer, and all I can say is "OPA!". It was great! I had not had saganaki in a long time, and that was delicious. Instead of a salad, I tried their soup of the day, which was a Greek soup. Very tasty also. For my entree, I tried their New York Striploin Steak Neptune (that's a mouthful!). 10 oz steak covered with shrimp, scallops, and hollandaise sauce. Sides were green beans and cooked potatoes and carrots. My steak was cooked perfectly, and it was quite good. The carrots and potatoes were also good. For dessert, I tried their cake of the day, which was a vanilla layer cake with a raspberry compote. The compote was delicious, but the cake itself was just a little dry. This place is a hidden gem! Our server was wonderful, and very patient with questions about the menu. The timing on food coming out was also spot on, even though they were very busy with several larger parties. Would absolutely go there again.

Before arriving, we made a reservation for dinner, so that we can have a nice dinner for our first day in Paris. When we entered, we were warmly greeted by a friendly young man at the front desk. He confirmed our reservation and directed us to our seat. Then our waitress came to our table to welcome us and left to get us some water. There were lots of items on the menu, so it took some time for us to decide what we wanted to order. My partner ordered Chicken Curry Poutine and I chose Coconut shrimp, Cranberry and Feta Wrap with french fries. A few minutes later, our orders arrived hot and fresh. We were surprised by how large the portion size was! Plus, the food was delicious. During our meal, our waitress came by to check in on us. Delicious food, friendly service, and fun vibe. Highly recommended!

Went for a late lunch while visiting the Wave spa attached to the restaurant. Place is very nice,…read moreservice was quick. We ordered a few cocktails and they were tasty. Food was okay - but overpriced - even for a restaurant attached to a spa/golf course pricing was high - salad with plain chicken $35. What turned us off though was the bread plate - which was only $4.50 for bread and oil/vinegar stating it serves two. It came to the table and no lie - was a thin slice of sourdough cut in half. Sandwhich thin. Just because you cut something in half doesn't mean it serves two. Felt a bit like a joke - so we just moved on and tried to focus on the better parts of the lunch. Would return to the spa; but likely skip a visit to the restaurant outside maybe grabbing a quick drink.

I had a 5-course Valentine's Day dinner with my husband. It was spectacular! Service: We waited 15 minutes for drinks and didn't even know who our waitress was. We said something to the manager and he immediately fixed it. We are happy that he did the right thing and the service was better moving forward. Bread: The bread was wood fired and delicious. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the outside. We wished the butter had more salt and herbs. Soup: The soup was rich and luxurious. I loved the hint of truffle. The consistency was perfect. Salad: The dressing was briny with a hint of anchovy. I loved the textures of the crispy prosciutto and nuttiness of the Parm. Eggplant: I loved the smokiness of the mozzarella with the sweetness of the tomato. I tried my husband's fish cake. I loved the big chunks of seafood and the mustard sauce to cut the fat. Short ribs: It was perfectly cooked and fell off the bone. The polenta was creamy and I loved the earthiness of the mushrooms. I would have loved more balsamic, but super tasty We did not have room for dessert and had to take it home!! The tart was dark and not sweet at all! It was perfect, rich, and a hint of sweetness from the cherry. Overall we are thrilled with having a new restaurant so close to home! We can't wait to come back!

The restaurant strikes an ideal balance between fine-dining formality and genuine warmth, helped by live piano music and a calm, elegant room. Food: Dinner began with two appetizers: the Lobster (autumn-spiced lobster, winter squash, Armagnac velouté) and the Ricotta Gnudi with winter truffle. Both were beautifully prepared and set a strong tone for the evening. Between courses, we were served a white truffle risotto, which became one of the standout dishes of the trip -- aromatic, silky, and rich without being heavy. For mains, we ordered the black cod and the venison, each cooked with precision and very well balanced. The meal ended with a maple-forward dessert that fit the season and the setting perfectly. Vibe: The dining room feels intimate and refined without being stiff. The combination of soft piano, candlelight, and the heritage property setting creates a memorable atmosphere. Service: Service was excellent across the board. Staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful, and this extended beyond the restaurant -- every person we interacted with on the property carried the same sense of care and professionalism. Overall: Langdon Hall offers one of the best fine-dining experiences in Ontario. The quality of the food, the warmth of the service, and the overall atmosphere make it well worth the trip, whether for a special occasion or simply to enjoy a destination meal.
