We went for a birthday party and it was a lot of fun!! The owner was amazing with all the kids and even let the adults participate, which was great! I brought my cross stitch to do while the kids play but I ended up throwing balls and shooting nerf guns which is way better! My daughter wants to do her birthday there now!

We started throwing in leagues here at end of 2022 and have been enjoying it since. There's bowling football (kinda), darts, and occasionally corn hole. In the summer, there's food trucks and a restaurant has opened at the end of the parking lot. The drink variety is pretty great with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages along with snacks. You get coaching when you go in for a group to help you learn how to throw and get to play a variety of games. If you have enough time, you can try throwing the big axe. What I like most about Urban is that the employees are super welcoming and the axe community is too if you decide to join a league. You can learn to tweak your throw from a variety of different people and hone in on your technique. You don't feel bad when you're first not great at throwing since so many people want to help. There are various groups that host fundraising events and charities that collaborate like BARCS and Baltimore Humane Society. Give Urban a try!

We made breakfast sausage, buttermilk biscuits, chicken fried steak, country cream gravy, crispy hash browns, sunny side up eggs, fruit salad, and Texas sheet cake and somehow it all came together into an incredibly delicious meal. Chef Ted was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the class. At one point I was deep in ADHD overwhelm trying to keep up with the Texas sheet cake while everyone else seemed miles ahead, but Chef Ted and Madison (KA) stepped in, got me across the finish line and the cake turned out great!!!! The class was instructional and a little fast-paced in the best way. The two hours flew by!! It felt busy but never stressful, and sitting down to eat what we made together was the perfect payoff. Two thumbs (or forks?) way way up. Definitely recommend and would absolutely do another class!! We're already talking with friends about booking a private group night.

Within the class there were about a dozen things to make. You are divided into 2 tables, with each table making everything. Personally, you make one or 2 things. I was assigned the savory crepe batter and the spinach filling. Then everyone took turns cooking a crepe or 2. In all the class was a blast! There were some minimal drawbacks. To start, I previously posted about them not honoring gift cards. I quickly removed that post and they corrected the problem. I am very satisfied with how that was handled after the fact, but the old gift card was not easy to use without working with the owner. I also had a few times in the class where I could not find items like spoons or ingredients easily. The class had a lead instructor and then a kitchen assistant. It took some getting used to and understanding how the place worked. I almost feel more prepared if I were to sign up for a class again. First hour was not the most intuitive. I recommend these cooking classes. It was fun and a good date morning with my husband.

I was so glad we did. Everyone arrived promptly, and the set up for the trailer was instant. I was impressed with how well these young men maneuvered the trailer down a narrow dead-end street. It was tough getting it into our driveway, but my husband removed our mailbox, and those guys didn't give up. I was so excited that it fit! The trailer was a great temperature for a hot day. The kids loved it. The music was a fun bonus. The laser tag set up was amazing. I didn't realize they would have a microphone for announcements and fun music playing in the yard as well. It turned into a bit of a dance party. The kids loved hearing their scores called out, and the young man running the laser tag was so great with the kids and keeping everything running smoothly. They even did an announcement when it was food/cake time for me without me asking. My son says that we should give them a rating of one bazillion. The quality of the games, equipment, the laser tag set up, the music, the atmosphere - all of it was perfect. Next Level made this an event to remember. I have no idea how we will be able to follow this next year. Or maybe we'll just have to do it again!
