Pricing was competitive - sure we could have saved a few bucks taking shortcuts but why skimp on such an important job? We expressed to the estimator that we really wanted the windows installed in 3 weeks, and it took the estimator 2 weeks to get us a final quote and a contract. We hired them to do a $7,200 project in our yard which included leveling and mulching an area for a swingset for our children, removing bushes/debris and leveling an area for our shed, as well as cleaning up some bush areas and edging and mulching some beds in the front of our house. When they came they brought some large machinery to level out the back yard and unlike the company who had removed trees from our yard last year, were far too lazy to bring anything for the machine to drive over to protect the grass so it COMPLETELY tore up huge sections of our yard - as in GAPING holes. The person who was selling all of these projects to us told us - "not to worry, we put down grass seed when this is all done and if that doesn't take, we can come back in the fall to hydroseed". While we were super displeased with this solution, as we did not want to deal with completely destroyed lawn after my husband had worked so hard over the last several years to make it look so nice, we were given zero option and he watched in pain from the window as the grass was torn up. The edging in the mulch beds in the front yard was truly some of the worst I have ever seen - all jagged and nowhere near deep enough to actually keep the mulch in, and several of the projects agreed to were not complete. They came back a second day once we followed up and when we got the invoice we were charged an additional $800. We then watered relentlessly for the weeks that followed but there was significant heat waves during that time so naturally, none of the grass grew. Fast forward 3 months we are now reaching back out to the company to make it right for completely destroying our lawn and they are claiming that they "did make it right" by putting seed down and that we "must have misunderstood" that they would never hydroseed for free. They gave a $3000 quote to hydroseed our entire lawn (even though they only ripped up about 1/6th of it and then when we asked for a refined quote they changed it to $1500). This is truly the most dishonest and disappointing company we have worked with in a really long time. It's unfortunate because we have several large landscaping projects that we were hoping to undergo over the next few years so were really hoping to find a company that we liked so that we could them for years to come but we found the complete opposite - a bunch of scam artists who don't even do good work. Highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs (or you'll end up with a yard in far worse shape than it started).

There is no way the new Avalon building they are creating is going to lean in any way, shape, or form. Their workers are clean, efficient, and methodical. The site is always tidied up before they leave for the day. You know that iconic photo of the workmen having lunch on a girder of the Empire State Building as it's being built? That's how I feel watching Allied set this building's foundation.
