At 4:00 Jake Crosby called and said he had a cancellation and he could be here in 45 minutes. At 4:45 I showed Jake the hot water heater and within minutes, he said the pilot light was out. We had someone on Thursday work on the gas line for our generator and was told he had to shut off the gas while he was doing that. Unfortunately, it was not turned back on and we had only cold water since then. Jake showed us what to do if that happens again. I asked him what I owed him and he said nothing. When I went to give him a tip, he did not want to take it, but I insisted. I cannot recommend this company high enough. They are extremely knowledgeable and honest, I was expected to have to buy a new hot water heater. They are the first company I would ever think of calling if I need the type of service they provide.

They quoted me DOUBLE what it actually costs. When I reported the overcharge, I was told the technician would be written up. He was only written up because he got CAUGHT. I have no doubt this kind of pricing is widespread across this company. Do NOT use All About Plumbing. I'll also be saving documentation of all of this. I had a few other plumbers come over to assess and none of them came close to being as thorough and realistic about the work that needed to be done. Several days later a few plumbers came out from Moody's plumbing and fixed the issue very quickly and efficiently. They gave me great advice on things that I could do around my home but did not try to sell me on things that I did not need. I was recommended TPH by another plumber I know who mostly does install. They came out the next day. We had bought the house a few months ago and didn't really know anything about the system which is a grinder pump. They were pretty sure it was electrical but the access needed to be pumped. They took the initiative to coordinate with the septic pump firm and got them out that afternoon. Next day they fixed the issue in a manner of a few hours. In addition, Jason, Byron and Ronnie were so professional and just good dudes. My dog thought the same thing and he's pretty picky about who he warms up to. I see a few negative reviews about the hourly cost. That just seems out of touch. We've had other plumbers both here and in Dallas and TPH's rate is right in line and frankly better service. I'm canceling my other annual contract and will be using TPH.
