Her knowledge and passion for hair truly set her apart. She takes the time to listen to exactly what you want and has the skill to bring it to life. On top of that, she's incredibly kind, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I'm so grateful I found her--she's officially my go-to hairstylist, and I couldn't recommend her more highly!

Kristy was so easygoing and we chatted the entire time I was getting my hair cut. I showed her the length I was going for and had her go from there. In the end, I realized the length was shorter than what I wanted but I love it still. It was honestly one of the best experiences I've had at a salon.

Oops, I honestly thought I had left a review for this place…read more I absolutely love the level of professionalism that Ivan S. Handles with his business. If every barbershop would follow his business practice as an example I am sure they would be very successfully and have nothing but happy customers. Story time, So I decided to come here because my barber is no longer practicing as a hairstylist, therefore, I needed to find a new barber to do my hair. I am very particular as to who cuts my hair and how they cut it, price for me is not really an issue and I don't mind paying for quality. That being said I messaged him online and I was happy that he was able to respond promptly and fit me in at my requested appointment time. I CAN NOT BELIEVE I DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT OVER 15 MINUTES FOR AN APPOINTMENT. This man has such amazing time management skills that he will not keep his customer waiting for more than 5 mins. He honors your appointment and he makes sure you get seen when you are to be seen. I am going to be coming back for the simple fact that he deserves my business and my money. As such, I will be making an appointment soon. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a professional haircut at a professional location. Tre (Trevon) is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!…read more Make sure to book your cut with him, you won't go wrong. He's been cutting my hair for over a year now. After having him as my stylist/barber, there's no one else that I want touching my hair. His customer service is second to none. He's quite literally one on the nicest people that I have ever met & I enjoy catching-up with him every time I come in. His skills are second to none - I actually had the pleasure of meeting him while he was a student many moons ago. To see his evolution as a professional is really quite cool. He has come a long way & a beast when it comes to turning out a style that you like. The great thing is that he is big on collaboration. At the end of the day, he is not satisfied unless you are. He welcomes ideas & is very creative at giving his own useful input. The only "regret" that I have is that my hair doesn't grow fast enough so that I can have him cut it. Seriously, book Tré. You'll be happy you did. 5 stars. Also, shoutout to Eloisa R. for being such a lovely person to work with as well.

Full disclosure, Gaspar has been cutting my hair for the better part of the last year. When I heard he was starting his own shop, I had to come check it out! The shop is located within Salon Republic at the Paseo Colorado. You can park in the structure and get your parking validated for up to 90 minutes for free. Gaspar has put in a lot of work into giving the shop a mafia/mob style aesthetic. The brick wall, bullet holes, pictures of the mob and vintage style barber chair is such an awesome touch! He's really doing his best to bring back the feel of an old-school barbershop. As far as the haircut goes, don't go in expecting a quick cut. You can really see Gaspar's attention to detail when I ask for a comb-over fade. He's personable and easy to chat with, so I don't feel like I'm just there for a haircut. One of my favorite things about getting a cut here is the hair-wash. Not only is it super relaxing, but it means I don't have to go and cleanup the little hairs. Gaspar also does beard and mustache trims, as well as a straight razor shave. 10/10 would recommend Gaspar to anyone looking for an affordable, quality cut.
