Another great service from the team at ON POINT Automotive. They were able to refresh my air conditioning, thank goodness, and now it blows cold! They completed the job on schedule, as promised, and actually charged LESS than there original quote. Where else would you find that competance and honesty? They are the ONLY place to go! read more

Great service for many years. Diesel and hybrid. Ask for tanner or Jason. Zero pressure read more

Best garage around. I highly recommend them! They are very professional and do great work. They have earned my trust.

Great local shop. Excellent work. Honest team! Made an appointment a week ago and brought my car in for brakes today. Tanner and team ran diagnostics, told me I didn't need front brakes and could wait a little longer if I wanted to. What mechanic doesn't try to upsell these days?!? The team at On Point Automotive doesn't. They are honest and did great work. My car is running great and I am so happy I found this shop! I plan on bringing all my cars here for future service. read more

Jason and Tanner have worked on a few of our cars over the last 3 years. Their crew does quality work and they've come through on a couple of projects that other shops would've walked away from. As an example, they helped swap in a new ABS booster pump for our 4th generation 4Runner which saved me over $1K vs a full master cylinder assembly replacement with the same end result. More recently they volunteered to put in work on a Saturday so I could get our other car back before I left for a business trip. They're honest, reliable, and just all around good guys. 100% recommend read more

There is no other mechanic shop I trust more than On Point Auto. Jason and his guys have taken care of our vehicles since he opened this shop. They are very open and transparent with your repairs and go the extra mile to earn your trust. All the staff is knowledgeable and just great guys. I've recommended numerous friends and family to this shop cause I know Jason and Tanner will take care of them, and they do. read more

I came to Jason at OPA as a referral from my friend. My 2017 Prius had a blown head gasket out of nowhere. They diagnosed it and replaced it in timely manner. They always had great communication and were honest and reliable throughout the whole process. I will 100% On Point Auto and use them for other services for my other vehicles. read more

Jason was such a huge help to us. We are from NorCal and had a check engine light glaring at us. From the moment we called to see if we could get some assistance, Jason answered the phone and was extremely helpful. He allowed us to come right in and get a diagnostic code check. It turned out to be a simple diagnosis that could wait till we are home to fix. So professional, helpful, kind and honest. We don't meet people like that everyday...especially when we are in need of getting on the road. Thank you, Jason! On Point will always be our go to when in the area for our trucks needs! read more

My car's low oil level light came on and that made me nervous because I had recently topped off the oil and the dipstick showed there was still plenty there. I don't know much about cars. In the past, I've been taken advantage of by mechanics costing me a lot of money. I was worried. I took my car to the guys at On Point and they were able to quickly diagnose the issue. They told me it was a simple fix and they fixed it quickly and at a very fair price. I drove away that day feeling taken care of and my car has been running great since! I trust the guys at On Point. They are always honest, fair and friendly. I highly recommend On Point Automotive. read more

My brother had been going to jason for years, and when it finally came time for me to have car problems, i was hesitant on going to anything other than an audi dealership service center. Audi had told me that i need a new transmission but jason was honest and instead of trying to get money out of me, he told me that it was only the trans valve that needed replacing....saved me 9k. The work here is speedy and excellent. I drive here from orange county, 100% worth it read more

I was recommended by my uncle to contact Jason here and after going to a few places who wanted to charge me $ just to look at my car/window and some said it was an electrical problem etc etc He looked at it checked it out ; took the piece apart and said it will be ready the next day (since I had to work) I went a week later. They Got it done in less than 15 min !!! Very professional; very friendly and to the point... I recommend this place. Didn't feel like they took advantage at all. Thank you Jason and team. Jessica Windows would not work now they do :) read more

This was the last place I brought my car before I noticed my side-skirt frame got bent...the thing about mechanics is they always test drive your car trying to figure out the problem, the problem with that is you never know what they are doing to your car also they drive different cars not knowing how low or wide the car handles...I don't think anyone test driving the car is going to tell you they hit a pothole or scraped the bottom of the car or dented it so you might not notice that your car is even dented or scratched months down the road like me...the people seemed pretty friendly and hopefully did what they said they did working on my car... read more

Wow! On Point Is an understatement! Tanner and Ron rock! Not only did they fix my car quickly and efficiently but they are kind and explain everything that was happening! I had transmission problems with my work van and Jason and his crew always go above and beyond to get the job done right and honestly. During the repair I was talking to a customer of mine that my van was in the shop, he stopped me mid sentence and told me he had the best mechanic who he's trusted with all his vehicles over the years...that was Jason and the on point guys. This has happened multiple times with various people that I've come in contact with that each have had great experiences getting their vehicles repaired. They do the job right, for a very fair price, and don't overcharge you on unnecessary parts etc. I wouldn't hesitate sending my mom, sister or anyone that can sometimes be taken advantage of from crooked mechanics. These guys will treat you like family and your vehicle as of it were their own. read more

I work for a company who sends their work vehicles to as well as personal. My check engine light came on, had codes read and was told it was my catalytic converter. Jason, the owner was at my work that day & told him of my issues, so I made an appointment for diagnosis. Well...today I dropped it off and was called to be told that because of low mileage on my car they felt they could do a "cleaning" rather than replacing my catalytic converter. $300 vs almost $1000....I AM BEYOND IMPRESSED that they do best for the customer rather than take advantage....they now have my busy & will refer people to them THAN YOU!! read more

My work van broke down and got it towed to on point. They were able to get my parts quickly and have my van back to me quicker then I was expecting at a reasonable price. Plan to use them for all my future needs. read more

I had purchased an aftermarket modular cat-back exhaust system but the manufacturer included two defective 3 inch band clamps for the mid-pipe. I was able to install it all but not get the exhaust to seal up/hang properly under the car due to the defective band clamps. Once I got the new 3 inch band clamps from the manufacturer I called On Point Automotive and they said yes, bring it in and we can get it going. I was in no hurry but On Point Automotive got the exhaust, with the new band clamps, all sealed and tucked nicely under my car the same day! The team at On Point Automotive exceeded my expectations on this exhaust repair, woot! Thanks again On Point Automotive! read more

Small and simple... The prices match the setup as well! Jason took care of my Honda and saved me a couple hundred bucks so I started taking our fleet vehicles to him and we have been impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. The most impressive thing to me is he tells me what HAS to be done and what NEEDS to be done and then let's me decide from there. If you need quality repairs and don't want to pay ridiculous prices I feel like he's on of the best in North County! I have referred Several friends his way and they all have had similar experiences! These guys are On Point! Yes... I wen t there. read more

Great Shop! Recently I had been on a quest again for a mechanic I can trust and came across this gem randomly. Upon entering I was greeted by Jason, very friendly and easy to talk to. Explained to him my concerns and he was able to get started on my truck promptly. Within a short period of time my truck was serviced and inspected. The price was more then fair and he didn't try to sell me on a bunch of services I didn't need. Since then I have been consistently bringing all my cars to him, even on Saturdays, hard to find a mechanic on a Saturday. I highly recommend this fine establishment! read more

Finally, a shop that does it right! I brought my used RV that I recently purchased to On Point to have it checked out before a long trip we're planning to take. I wanted to identify any potential issues with the coach prior to us driving the long distance. Jason was the mechanic who helped us and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. He checked every inch of our coach and provided me with a thorough review of everything. He was very precise about the issues it had and even offered some great suggestions to better our journey. It was a breath of fresh air to receive the news in a way that let me decide the outcome. This is clearly a shop that is honest and truly has your best interest in mind. What a concept. A shop that knows true customer service! Jason was incredibly knowledgable and clearly knows his stuff. The price for our service was more than fair and we could not be happier with our experience. We will absolutely be using On Point for all our RV and automotive needs from now on! read more

I wasn't happy when the transmission in my diesel pick-up gave up on me. However I was referred to On Point Auto by a friend and they made the repair as painless as possible, pleasant even. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else now. The guys at On Point were knowledgeable, friendly, had great communication/availability, reasonable pricing, and just all around good people. They delivered on what they said they would do, took the time to explain what was wrong, possibly why, and how they were going to fix it. One example of how they went above and beyond with my transmission rebuild was by explaining one of the design problems with the factory transmission and how they were going to correct it. So essentially giving me a better product than the truck came with brand new. On Point emulates integrity and honesty. Thanks On Point Auto read more

Seriously the best service I've had at a auto shop! I brought my car in to get a few parts replaced that the dealer ship I bought the car at was replacing, I needed to get my lights replaced and they were so helpful and did it the same day. I've been coming to On Point Auto for over a year now after my last mechanic put a truck filter on my car when I asked for an oil change. Jason and Tanner have both been transparent with their work and price, which I haven't received from any other shop. They're usually booked up for 3 days so you have to schedule an appointment but that's a sign of how loyal their customers are. If you're looking for quality work on your vehicle that'll last then look no further. read more

We've been taking our vehicles to Jason for years and the service has always been excellent, from commuter cars and trucks, to trailers and even our boat. You can tell he knows his stuff but he never comes off as condescending, which means a lot when you're a woman looking for a mechanic. His shop is clean, he's thorough, and I always feel confident that he's taking the best care of our vehicles for the most competitive price. read more

There is no one I trust more with my cars than Jason at On Point Auto. He is light years ahead in terms of automobile knowledge and professional quality work. I'm a used car dealer and that's saying something. I've gone through many mechanics in the past, and Jason has ended that headache. He is the solution to your car concerns. He's always on-point. For the past 2 years I have been sending all my cars to him. It was after he had fixed an issue with an '05 F250 Diesel truck I had. I had taken it to 3-4 mechanics and they were stumped. They didn't even have price for me, because they hadn't the clue what's wrong with it. Jason called me a couple hours within the same day I left it with him with the solution and plan of action. He earned my loyalty and confidence then. What seems like an impossible feat, his knowledge on virtually every car has astounded me. His diagnostic ability is the best in the business. I've yet to see somewhere pick up the issue as fast as he has, as well as fixing it as fast as he has. He's also quick to refer me to someone if they can get it done faster or at a cheaper rate. I love the transparency. Jason and Tanner, his protege, are honest, fast, and do it at an excellent price. There is no one I recommend to go to other than On-Point Automotive. They're simply the best. read more
