Tim from On Broadway Appliance repair fixed it right this time. My washer was working fine, but high-pitched squeaking on spin cycle. Once again after 3 previous repairs by Sears (2) and Yankee Equipment, (1) they only lubricated it. This time it was fixed right when part was ordered that went under the barrel to steady at high speed spin. I gave Tim 5 star review because he caught what 3 others missed, and reported the reoccurring problem to Speed Queen. I don't know what the experience of others might have been, but Tim had prompt good communication with me through initial appointment and ordering parts. read more

We needed our washing machine fixed and GE sent Tim from On Broadway to come take a look, he said he needed to order the part and would return at a later date- later that afternoon Tim called back to state that "he will not be retuning due to our pet cats making his allergies act up" after a call to GE they rescheduled Tim and Tim is continuing to refuse service, Tim also won't help us find a new location to have our machine serviced which is really the route of the problem - we understand not everyone can do everything (that being said if you go to peoples homes for a living you need to make sure you can deal with your health issues or find a new job) but if you cannot then you are expected and should be helping the person who hired you to find a solution Unacceptable and awful read more

Was scheduled to service Whirlpool dishwasher. Never showed up, called, or emailed. Clearly they don't want the work, but at least need to tell people they aren't coming. I waited over a week for the appointment and could have used that time to get someone else who'd actually show up. read more

My Kitchenaid dishwasher needed a repair under warranty and this company was assigned. The repair was prompt. The company communication was excellent. The service repair was completed by a technician named Tim who was efficient and courteous. I will not hesitate to call them if needed. read more

I feel I have to submit a review after reading the other reviews on this site. Tim has come to our house twice, once for a dishwasher, and once for our washing machine. On both visits Tim was professional, courteous and on time. He explained the problems and fixed them the first time. He even correctly repaired our dishwasher after we were given a mis-diagnosis of the problem by another company in the area. I would highly recommend On Broadway, and Tim. read more

I don't think this company is in business anymore, or wants any additional business. Tim came and replaced a thermostat in my freezer, then when it stopped working a week later, he didn't return my daily calls to come fix it. Actually, he did return one of my calls, but said he was going away for the weekend but would try to come see why my freezer was still not working. I never saw him or my $300 dollars again. The last voicemail I did leave him, I asked for a return call to confirm if he was still in business, but received no reply... so I guess it's safe to assume they are no longer in business. read more

I've had to replace 2 stoves in 3 years. The newest stove (which was a very good brand) broke down after 2 months. The manufacturer told me that On Broadway Appliance was the only warranty repair company available in my area. I called and left a message for Tim and he got back to me pretty quickly. He gave me a date and time frame when he would come and he came when he said he would. Tim was incredibly Clean, polite, and friendly to me and even to our dog. He quickly diagnosed the issue, told me he would order the part, and said I should hear from him in about 2 weeks. He called me in less than 2 weeks and made a new appointment. Again he came on time, replaced the part, turned on the oven, and waited for about 20 minutes to make sure the oven did not shut off mid cooking cycle like it had been. I have not met a nicer, more knowledgeable service tech who returned calls and came when he said! I would recommend Tim for any of your appliance needs. read more

I don't know if this place is under new ownership or management since some of these reviews took place, but my experience was top-notch. Though the repair did take a few weeks, it was due to a parts backorder and I was kept in the loop every step of the way. Tim was prompt and professional and the job was done right. Good results. Arrived on time to diagnose the problem. He had to order a new part. I was told about two weeks for delivery. Just a few days over that estimate owner called to make an appointment to get it installed. He should up on time and installed the new part. Totally happy with this company. read more

Terrible customer service. Took a week and a half for them to come back to fix my gas dryer. Was quoted an amount to fix the dryer and parts and he charged more on my credit card which was used to pay for the 80.00 charge to figure out what was wrong. He breaks my gas line to dryer and states he did nothing wrong and is making me pay a plumber to fix. What a class act would not recommend. read more

Extremely poor, non-responsive customer service from this company. Failed to reply to 2 follow-up e-mail messages following initial conversation. Had promised to schedule my oven repair the week of 7/13/15; never followed up. It is impossible to speak with anyone 'live'; everything is voice mail. No way of reaching anyone in an emergency. This call was for an oven repair; imagine if this had been a true emergency such as a fridge shutdown! From this first hand experience, would avoid this appliance repair service at all costs! Nearby competitors replied to my phone calls or e-mails promptly and additionally had 'live' people to answer the phone during normal business hours. read more

Wow, how do they stay in business?? I got the same treatment made an appointment through Whirlpool for a simple fuse replacement. He came and told me he needed to order a simple fuse to fix my oven. Never called back, never responded to my messages waited A MONTH and finally gave up. I will be reporting this to Whirlpool and the Better Business Bureau as should everyone this company (if you could call it that...) treated in this way. As with all of the other reviewers with similar experiences , Tim collected a diagnostic fee and then promised to return and fix the stove . Despite multiple calls , voicemails , and a visit to the address on record no response has ever been given . At this point I am out the fee and don 't have a record of the diagnosis and apparently no recourse . Avoid at all cost and it really seems this company should be subject to prosecution ..... read more

Don't even bother calling this asshole for service..he is useless..he went out on a job and told the tenant that he was ordering a part for the washer ..it was under extended service contract with Lowes where I purchased it..That was 4 weeks ago..I cant reach him email twice,called twice and now his VM box is full..I called lowes to have them take away his contract and they have had multiple complaints on him and they are no longer going to use him after my complaint today as they said they can't reach him either.His notes said he didn't order any parts for this washer after all and that it was a 2 man job so he just left it hanging for a month now.....I am going to post this everywhere I can online to cost him him as much loss of business as the aggravation he has caused me.. read more

Months of calls and 3 returning visits, over charged and our freezing still isn't fixed!!!!!!!! He will not return calls either. He even broke our ice maker and my wife you tubed how to fix that piece and did it her self!! I am not one to ofeten write negative reviews but this one is truly warranted!! Terrible! Had "Tim" come out to my house to look at my gas dryer. He took it apart, told me that "I" had to clean the motor as it was dusty. I asked him to just do it for me and charge me. He said it would be "good for me" to learn how to clean it. Seriously? He said that he had to order parts and he would be in touch soon. That was over 2 weeks ago and he won't respond to my calls. I leave messages every other day, no response. My dryer is in pieces in the basement and I have no idea why he won't come back to finish the job. Our washing machine customer service suggested that we contact On Broadway Appliance to service our appliance. We've had to call them many times just to get them to call back. They are simply an incompetent bunch and their customer service is terrible. Also, they are quite expensive. NEVER will we do business with them again. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! My refrigerator died on a Saturday and the extended warranty company put in a claim with them in the afternoon saying they should be contacting me within 1-2 hours. I waited the full two hours and decided to call them myself. I was connected to an answering machine where I left my information expecting that they would get back to me with a date and time for my appointment, but that has yet to happen... Their website claims "24/7" service, but clearly that is a false statement. I have tried to reach them several times, even on a Monday, but keep getting the annoying answering machine.
