When purchasing the units I told the sales person, Michael Bondi, that the dryer door needed to be opening in the opposite direction. He stated that was not a problem. The unit was delivered with the door opening the wrong way. I contacted Strafford, and they stated I would need a tech to come over at my expense to change things over. Not what I was told when I bought it. They are liars, don't trust what they tell you! Very upset, I've purchased many items from them in the past, no more. Jean L. LeBrun

Stove barn is a hidden gem in Concord, NH. My wife and I stumbled upon this store on a Saturday…read moreafternoon while out shopping in Concord.. We decided to check this place out since I grew up around wood stoves and we were looking for a better alternative than our crappy fireplace in our new home. Our fist impression of the store was.... WOW.... this place was very cozy with many different demo stoves running. We were greeted by James (the owner's son) who answered every question we could think of. James guided us to a Napoleon wood stove insert for our heating needs. After about two weeks we decided to go back and purchase the insert. On installation day I was impressed & surprised to see James returning to install our insert. He was also on time as promised by Mary Ann at the store. James was extremely thorough during the install and cleaned up the area exceeding my expectations. Not too many places install their own products... many just subcontract the install out... this was very comforting that I was dealing with the same people through the entire process from sale to installation! James covered everything I needed to know for the operation of our new wood stove. Now that the insert is broken in we must say that this thing is truly awesome. It produces way more heat that we could imagine. We have no regrets and we are happy with the level of professionalism and expertise from the Stove Barn. From the the helpfulness of the sales staff to the clean install I would highly recommend this NH family business to anyone looking for alternative heating for their home. We will returning here for our future home heating needs. We are both glad we went with a wood stove vs the cheap mega hardware store pellet stoves that won't work in a power outage. Thank You Stove Barn! A+ in our book.

Called stove barn which has changed hands to Caesar. Clearly explained that I had an OPEN LOG fireplace that had the pilot light go out. They scheduled a visit. Today- they came and said they would not service any open log set ups. Even though they are qualified on gas stoves- would not touch it. Even though I bought it from the company that existed previously. Why come in the first place ? Did not recommend anyone who could service it. It's been running fine for years. Left me high and dry with no recommendations as to how to get it back on. Very unsatisfied.

I made more calls, and DF Richard answered after hours too. I talked to the owner of DF Richard Energy who said yes we can help you. Joey is very responsive and has been very good to us - when my husband and I renovated and needed several appliances he gave us a great deal and a hassle-free experience from sales and delivery to follow up after the purchase. Some sales people I've worked with have stopped being responsive after the sale was made but not Joey, and for that reason we went right back to him when we needed a washer and dryer the following year. Dale and Bob have both been out for service and I have found that service appointments were very easy to set up, on time, and comprehensive. Both Dale and Bob were a pleasure to work with - they're super friendly, knowledgeable and able to address our issues like true experts. They were great about getting parts ordered, answering questions patiently and just generally going above and beyond to be helpful. We will continue to use Central for all our appliance needs and I recommend them highly!
