This was my first time here. I support mom & pop shops because they're more receptive to criticism. I'll say that the food was good. Quality and quantity. These are not in question. Not even the fact that my order was late, despite using the online ordering system where you can select the time, did it put me off. I ordered for 12:35 pickup and it wasn't ready until 12:52. It shouldn't seem like a big deal but when you only have 1/2 an hour for lunch it will definitely make you cringe. But even still I'll allow for slammed orders. What does bother me enough to question my patronage is this... ...I saw the lady barehand my pickles. That's a no-no for which I was gonna quietly suggest she use gloves or tongs or something...ANYTHING in the name of hygiene. As I waited for my food stewing harder the longer I waited, I was sure I was gonna say something about the barehandedness. But then, as I was told for the 4th time that my order was finishing up, I peaked at the one making my sandwich. I'm assuming he was the owner. He wasn't wearing any gloves either! Then as I waited an extra 2 minutes while the son scooped my chili into the cup and barehanded the lip that had chili already on it, touching CHILI! Bro it's 2025, gloves are mandatory. I hope they change their procedures to include gloves and possibly hairnets too. Otherwise I can't see myself returning. I got the Holiday Harvest which is basically Thanksgiving in a sandwich - turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce on squaw bread. You can either have half sandwich or a whole sandwich depending on how you're feeling. However, there are some sandwiches that you cannot get in half depending on what the bread is being used. Standard for all the sandwiches include: lettuce, tomato, mayo, Dijon mustard unless stated otherwise. Pickle and onion can be added upon request with no charger. Next time I should have read the whole menu beforehand because I did not see it in the beginning. I'm the type of gal who likes onion on my sandwich. For lunch i got the Ultimate 9 ($12.95) which includes: turkey, ham, roast beef, bacon, squash, cheddar, avocado on a 9inch French roll. I don't eat beef so I requested without it and they offered to add more of the different meats as a substitute. I was also feeling nice and decided to get my partner a breakfast sandwich on bagel ($5.25) which had the typical egg, cheese and choices of meat (options: bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo, or egg scrambled). The sandwich can also either me on a muffin ($4), toast ($4) or French toast ($6.75) You can also create your own sandwich- but let's be honest if I do that there's a chance I may not like it hah so better stick with the safe choice and choose from the menu. read more

But don't let that stop you...it may not be fancy but it is awesome! We had a turkey, a roast beef, and a roast chicken sandwich. Oh my, what can I say... we were licking our fingers! Decent sandwich joint. I keep going here by accident. The first time, I was looking for a different place and literally walked in and out. That place was closed, so I drove back to On A Roll and ordered a few sandwiches for my family. They loved them, so I made a mental note. The second time, I was at a doctor's appointment nearby and wanted to grab something for breakfast, but I decided that it was too close to lunch and should take some sandwiches home. Cool place. I was actually in the area to go to another sandwich shop, but the whole process ended-up being so complicated (order online - pick up here... whatever) that I left and stumbled on this place. Very nice sandwich board and the ability to craft your own. I chose one of their standard sandwiches that was as close to an 'Italian' as I could find. They told me 15 to 20 minutes wait, but it was more like 5. While I was waiting, the owner (clearly) was bouncing around thanking people for coming in and cleaning tables. There's a nice area indoor to sit as well as some tables outdoors, although it's an industrial park and obviously caters to tons of people from that general area. The sandwich was very good. Next time, I'll craft my own and see if I can make it great. I'm definitely going back. read more
