Chimichurri is the best! I really love the beef or chicken chimichurri plates, and Sriracha sauce adds some extra kick. The plates are simply grilled chicken or beef and a salad mix on top of white rice. Then you have your choice of chimichurri or teriyaki sauce on top. Plate sizes are generous portions and prices are very reasonable. Wait time is not long, either. I tried the chicken veggie bowl today and it was also good, however I still prefer the chimichurri plates. Still a win, though! If you want to get away from the typical greasy fast food and try something different, this is the place! I make it a point to come here anytime I'm nearby. I drive by this place every day to work. Finally I decided to try it since I wasn't in the mood for cooking dinner and the hubs was out. The reviews said chicken chimichurri was the way to go, so I got that to-go. I also added brown rice [$0.50 extra]. The chimichurri sauce came on the side and was super garlic-y, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The brown rice was cooked well. Overall, I thought it was a good meal for less than $10. Cheap good eats if you're short on time and you're hungry. It has a pretty simple menu and nothing was overly fancy. OMGrill basically offers three different types of flavors: Teriyaki, Chimichurri, and Anticucho. I had the Anticucho chicken plate with came with a large salad. Anticucho is a classic Peruvian marinade with a kick. Though the gal at the counter said it was spicy, it really wasn't. The amount of chicken you get is of good portion and surprisingly not dry. With the side salad, the entire meal was pretty filling. At $6.50, it's a good deal. Service is surprisingly pretty quick during lunch time. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes after ordering. No waitstaff here; just order at the counter and your number will be called when ready. The place itself is pretty small and doesn't provide much elbow room. So I thought I was eating Lomo Saltado. When I think that dish I would imagine thick pieces of onions, meat, fries, tomatoes, and drenched in some awesome sauce. What I got was a sandwich with meat that had no flavor, avocado, mustard and caramelized onions that I barely noticed was there. Did not like what I had all that much. Nothing else on the menu looked very interesting either. Teriyaki places are pretty much everywhere now a days and not something I like to eat all the time. My friend told me it wasn't all that good, but I had to come try for myself. I should really listen more often. read more

Been going here since it opened and very glad the place had progressed from being the new spot to having an app for pick up orders. This place gets extremely busy during lunch time and near rush hour. The chimichuri steak is sooo good, I'm telling you this Peruvian Japanese fusión is where it's at haha. My co-worker and I saw this place recently and decided to give it a try when we next got a chance. He actually went without me yesterday, and was so excited about it that we went today as well. My experience was all over the place: When I arrived, they were quick to say hello, and a glance around confirmed what others have said about the place being clean. I was NOT impressed with the service. My co-worker and I had to confirm our order 3 separate times, correcting it each time because the employee at the register kept getting it wrong (and we're not talking about a complicated order here: I had to re-order my chicken plate twice because she kept telling me I ordered beef). It was also a relatively long wait, but I think that's because someone in front of us had a huge to-go order. Then they called us for our order, but had it on trays instead of in a to-go bag as we had asked, so we had to wait even longer while they repacked it. Having said all that, the food was very good. The servings are large, cooked well, and the flavors are tasty. So...I will try this place again and update my review. Perhaps I came on an off day? We shall see. *******Update******* I have found that this place is fantastic for take out if you call in your order ahead of time. Based on take out only I would give it 5 stars. Why the heck was I sleeping on this place all this time? I am so glad I finally came! I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl and my boyfriend ordered the chicken chimichurri plate. For starters, the chicken was cooked to perfection. It was so tender and juicy. The portions are really good for the price you pay. We got a good amount of chicken on a hefty bed of rice. The chimichurri came with a side salad and some extra chimichurri on the side. The teriyaki bowl came with the sauce already drizzled on top, green onions and sesame seeds. I've been here twice so far and I've had the chicken teriyaki bowl as well as the cheeseburger and fries. All awesome in my opinion. The chicken teriyaki bowls are pretty big in my opinion with a hefty amount of rice and chicken. The only thing lacking is the amount of teriyaki sauce they put in it but you can always add more on your own; they have it in a bottle at the counter. The cheeseburgers are nothing fancy but really good like a cheeseburger should taste. Really recommend the chicken teriyaki bowl with extra teriyaki sauce. Went by a friends recommendation, boy!! were they right about this place! The place inside has a modern clean look and we were greeted immediately by a young boy at the counter. I ordered the chicken bowl and my husband ordered the beef bowl. Both were delicious. Bowls are large and full to the top, very lean and flavorful. This place is the perfect lunch solution in the "hart" of the valley. We love Humble Bee too, but this is closer and a bit more convenient for quick lunch grab-and-go, particularly for group meetings etc. We have several favorites- the garlic chicken salad is delicious, the Peruvian dishes have great taste and the teriyaki beef bowl's sauce is better than most restaurants that specialize in Teriyaki plates only. This place takes the cake- Peruvian and Japanese. It'll satisfy savory, spicy, and sweet cravings. Love this place.
