Going out of town, needed a pedicure. This isnt my normal nail shop. So I gave them a chance....not good at all. My tech was not professional and I wasnt happy with my pedicure. He skipped a few steps and never came back to take the dryer slippers off so I could leave. I finally started taking them off myself to leave. Another tech finally asked I was ready to leave, "Umm yeah probably dont wanna hang out with you all day". The service was unprofessional and expensive. I ended up getting y feet done abroad while traveling. I cant tell you how to run your business, but I can take my business elsewhere. I've been a loyal client of OMG Nails for a long time, consistently coming in for gel manicures and pedicures --and I've even referred many others to this salon. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment today and received a call yesterday stating that my nail tech had an emergency and wouldn't be available. However, when I arrived this morning - because I'm in a wedding today and really needed the service -I was shocked to see that my nail tech was here, working on another client during my scheduled time. To add to the frustration, that client was getting a full set, which is a longer and likely more expensive service than my regular gel manicure and toe polish refresh. This situation makes me feel like my service wasn't considered valuable enough to honor my appointment. That's incredibly disappointing. Customer service is everything to me. No matter the dollar amount, all clients deserve honesty and respect - especially loyal ones with standing appointments. I'm now sitting here waiting on a Saturday, knowing most places are booked, feeling extremely let down by an establishment l've supported for years. Update: Denied Service After Speaking Honestly After everything that happened, I still called today to give OMG Nails another chance and tried to schedule an appointment with Anna. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was denied service--clearly because of the honest review I left. Let's be real: I've been a loyal, respectful client for years. I've supported this salon faithfully, always tipped generously, and referred others without hesitation. But the moment I shared my real experience--the moment I stood up for myself--I was met with attitude and refused service. It's disheartening to see how quickly loyalty is dismissed when a client expresses disappointment. Businesses should welcome honest feedback, not punish people for it. I will never come back to this salon. The man who did my nails was extremely rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. He acted like he didn't understand me, then started talking about me in his language right in front of me. I felt completely disrespected. What made it worse is that the manager saw what was happening and did nothing to correct his behavior. That says a lot about how they treat their customers. This was a terrible experience, and I will never return to top it off. My nails are not even nice and they look cheap but I paid an expensive price. Update: I went back and they fixed my nails free of charge. And were very polite about it. I absolutely recommend this salon. My friend and I went and got our nails done before Christmas and were so very pleased!! So I figured I'd go back and take my daughter's to get theirs done too. Unfortunately the time wasn't great. I have two different people doing my nails. One lady was going between me and a pedicure, then had someone else finish mine half way through. My nails are lumpy and the polish is uneven. This was my youngest daughter's first time getting a manicure and needless to say she wasn't impressed. They charged me $40 for her manicure and it looks like a 5yr old did her nails. read more

Went in for a dip manicure. Nails were filed unevenly, he barely buffed the nails leaving them rough and bumpy, didn't shape the nail bed so the dip cuts right into the cuticle, and the clear gel top coat is peeling off on day 3. No nail polishes are on display. Everything is in a back room which I found a bit odd. Asked for funny bunny and the color was a yellowish white which is clearly not funny bunny. read more

Tried this spot today on a whim, and it was just ok for me. It was a lot more expensive than what I usually pay at other salons, and at my regular spot they offer complimentary mimosas. Nothing was offered here like that, and my tech was speaking to her coworker the entire time. My nails do look good, but I place a lot of value on experience and for what I paid, I would probably skip this spot next time. read more

My experience at OMG Nails was not great. They did offer beverages. They had different options that was nice, however when it came to performance. It wasnt the best left polish on my feet and wasn't happy with the finish result of my pedicure. He did try to fix the issue but wasn't successful. Not sure he he just didn't want to do it or if he could not get my shape right on my toes. However it was not a pleasant experience and I will never go back. Paid 59.00 for my pedicure, which I will have to go somewhere else Tuesday to get it redone. read more

Went here 2 weeks ago for a full set and pedicure. July 27 to be exact. A week after I've already had all of the nails on one hand lifting and about 3 on the other hand doing the same, usually that's okay for long nails but these are a short set. I got tips on both of my big toes and one of them chipped off about 4 days later. I called the manager and was told there was nothing she could do. read more

Came here just by chance one day, and I'm glad I did! This nail salon is clean, efficient, and the nail technicians are super nice. They want to make sure that you have a good experience there and the services don't feel rushed. They offer you drink and snacks during your service and they have a good selection of colors. I received a regular polish pedicure, and it turned out well - and it lasted a while! I will definitely go back for another pedi and to try some of their other services. Very disappointed. My 2nd time here and today I arrived for my appt only to be put at a table soaking my nails in a bowl of acetone for over 40 minutes while the nail tech went and did someone else's toes. On top of that the nail tech was talking on her phone through her ear bud the ENTIRE time she worked on my nails. I had followed the owners on Instagram and was overjoyed when they opened a shop in Lexington. I will not be back. read more

UPDATE: OMG Nails promised they would redo the services below, free of charge, after their original poor quality. When I reached back out to them to set an appointment, they refused to honor their word. I will not be returning to this salon, and I recommend you don't waste your time or money here either, especially when there are many more high quality and reputable salons nearby. ORIGINAL POST: Very displeased with the services I received from this salon. The pedicure was expensive and too short, and my nails were left jagged with polish around the nails. I also got acrylics with gel polish, with a charge for filing the tips after they're cut down. The lady painted on the acrylics over my cuticles and all the way to the sides of the nail, so they're not flat and starting to snag on things while they grow. A few of the nails are crooked, as well. OMG NAILS RESPONSE: Hi, we are so sorry about your negative experience at our store. BEWARE I called them to ask how much a full set of acrylic nails are and the lady on the phone told me $30 and I asked two more times to double check and she said "yes $30" each time. So I decided to give them a try I get there and it's very nice and clean and the wait wasn't long so I waited and the guy calls me over and I show him what I would like and he said okay and gets started, about 10 minutes into the session a lady comes over and says they told me the wrong price it's $40 I already have the acrylic tips on so I can't just leave so I say that's fine... then the guy cuts my cuticle and I'm bleeding and it hurts really bad still he does not apologize and just keeps working, I just got home and it's still bleeding and it's hurts.... Then he's almost done and tells me it's going to be $50 because I got a shape which why did he not say that when I showed him the picture I wanted before we started...
