I must this nail salon is by far the cleanest and efficient salon I've been too, and that's generous because I'm very picky! First let me start by saying, if you've had a long day and you are looking for somewhere to go get your nails done Devine Nail is the place. During your service you are offered either mimosas, red or white wine, soft drinks, or water. Well of course for me, it was a long day so I surely ordered a mimosas (it's free by the way). Now to my nail tech Victor, he was amazing! Victor was my nail tech in both my pedicure and my ombré full set! He was very professional and took good care of my fragile nails. I do recommend this location, however, I must forewarn you, it is very pricey. For my pedicure gel polish, my fullset ombré, and 4 finger design it totaled to be $127. read more

Been here twice now. $10 overpriced (more than other salons) on every item and the employees won't talk to you during the manicure- makes it a pretty awkward interaction. The lady told me a dip mani would be the same price as a normal mani and they charged me $55. I was pretty insistent I just wanted a gel French mani, but she took the powder out and just PUT the powder on my nails. I'm a student trying to budget, I definitely wouldn't have gotten that had I known the price. Very upset, won't be back. read more

I'm so happy I found this salon! I was completely pleased with my experience. I came around 10:15am on a Friday and was serviced almost immediately despite there being a lot of other customers. They had around 15 staff people working so they were able to accommodate everyone. The place was clean and had a nice quiet environment. Tara did my gel polish and really took her time to make sure everything was right. She even allowed me to test the color I chose to make sure I liked how it looked. I would highly recommend her and the salon in general. FYI gel polish (no manicure) is $25 and the USC student discount only applies to a mani/pedi combo. read more

I stopped in after work to get my nails done for my birthday. Bad idea! Anytime I get a vibe that I'm not welcome somewhere I usually leave no questions asked. This day in particular it was storming and I just wanted to go somewhere fairly close to my job. I had been here years ago and remember them doing a good job on my pink and white ombré set. I should have trusted my gut and just left. The young lady at the front was super sweet and welcoming this is not where the issues began unfortunately. She showed me to the seat I would be at and I waited for the nail tech to come over. When she did she proceeded to ask what I wanted and I told her a full set with a very thin white French tip. She started buffing my natural nails and in the process continued to become distracted and stopped frequently. Then all of a sudden she just gets up no explanation of what she's doing and WHY and proceeds to help another client. At this point I'm so confused so I don't even know how to address the situation. A good 5 (if not longer) minutes later someone else comes and begins to put my nail tips on. No explanation from either of them as to what's going on and why she began but didn't resume finishing my nails. This was unacceptable in my opinion! My nails came out ok....certainly not up to par with my expectations. I will not be returning and I defiantly don't recommend this place. I saw everyone else who was there being catered to fairly nicely which certainly made the bad taste in my mouth even more rancid. read more

I waiting until I had two experiences with Devine Nails to see if my good experience was consistent. It very much was. I didn't have to wait either time. They were very helpful, clean, and calming. They have many chairs and many people working so someone tends to you quickly. The first time I got a dip full set. It's pricey, but it lasted well and was gorgeous. I also got a pedicure. It felt amazing. I didn't get to experience the leg massage really because I had just gotten my legs waxed and I didn't want to inflame my skin. The second time I got the dip on my natural nails. This also looks fantastic and has held up well. I recommended this place to a few friends and their experience was similar. Going back to get dip polish again this weekend! read more

After all the stellar reviews, I was really expecting a great experience and what I received was lack luster at best. They seemed nice but the product didn't match up. My gel set was put on well, however the technician sanded them down too far and my nail beds are sore. Additionally, when I asked them to clean up my cuticles, I was told this wasn't included in a Gel Set. Who doesn't clean up the nail bed before putting on a new set?!? Thankfully he did clean them up, but didn't do a good job. My pedicure was horrid. My nails are too short, have multiple bumps and lots of clear polish on the tips of my toes. Lastly, everyone raves about the massage, and my technician did nothing like that and I still have lots of dead skin on the bottoms of my feet that I was hoping to get off. My experience would have warranted 2 stars but my friends experience takes this down to 1 star or less. She wanted a simple gel mani and we were scheduled for the same time. She was sat waiting for 20+ mins and then when she did get serviced they simple painted her nails. She paid for a manicure and they simply sloppily painted her nails. She had to rush out of there because she was going to be late for another appt or she would have complained. This is unacceptable and I will not be returning. I'm not a giant fan of Posh but I guess that's where I'll be returning unless I can find another nail place that will serve an excellent product. read more

The establishment is very nice and comfortable and the staff are nice however, I'm a little disappointed in the service. It is not the best...could be the technician I had. I don't think he knew how to put polish on. My polish is very blotchy and it just does not look professionally done. Very disappointed that I can do a better job than this. My cuticles look worse now then when I came in. I also can't figure out why he put lotion on me after he painted my nails. I also had to tell him to put more paint on the side of my toes because he completely missed it. LA has definitely spoiled me and it's very difficult to find perfection. Also I hate waiting for my nails to dry under a fan and a blue light. It doesn't work!!!! I have to go back to my room and refile and recut everything. read more

I got my nails done here yesterday for the first time ever and I got a new set/fill with a white French tip. I absolutely loved the shape and the French tip looked amazing but a few hours later the white paint started to wear off. This has never happened before and I'm so disappointed especially since I paid $65 with tip. This is extremely inconvenient for me since I don't have time to fix them and this has never happened to me before at other nail salons read more

Came to this salon because the others nearby required an appointment. I got a gel manicure. The nail tech was so rough when removing my current gel polish, using the harsh nail file to remove the polish but also scraping my cuticles and surrounding skin. Then when trimming the "cuticles" she was cutting my surrounding skin on all of my nails???? She cut me with the clippers and I began bleeding and she said nothing. I will not be back. Bad atmosphere, bad customer service, bad nail tech. read more

Roman did an okay job. He was great when helping me snap my nail to look natural. But he was super rushed and putting regular polish on. I have bubbles and the polish is way too thin on some of them. This won't be my first choice nail salon. read more

TLDR: Tara is a QUEEN. I will be back every time I'm visiting Columbia. I am originally from Columbia but currently live out of state in California and was home visiting family for Thanksgiving. I have a place I always go to back home in California, and it's the only salon I really trust for a flawless gel manicure. But ya'll, I was having some SERIOUS grow out and just couldn't abide the scraggly look for another second. Based on the glowing reviews, I decided to try Devine Nail Spa and simply walked in around 10:30/10:45 AM on a Monday morning. I was seated immediately with Tara, and she hooked me up big time! Not only was Tara a lovely and kind person with whom I truly enjoyed chatting but she really took her time making sure my cuticles were beautifully trimmed, nails were filed perfectly square (this is the main thing I am most picky about), and polish on POINT. I was also offered a choice of water, soda, or alcoholic beverage at the beginning of my appointment which made the experience even more lovely. I will undoubtedly be returning! read more

Come here -- they go above and beyond! If I were to recommend any friends or family to get their nails done in Columbia it would 100% be here. And trust me, I have been to many salons. The environment is extremely relaxing, it's clean, it's fast, and there is a huge color selection. I have been to Devine Nail Salon multiple times and never been dissatisfied. Today Tara did my nails, and I am so happy that I got to meet her. Friendly faces, quality experience. read more

I'll start by saying the hot stone massage wasn't what I thought it would be, but nice-to-fair, none-the-less. However it wasn't a massage. More a 5 minute rub with hot stones. Deluxe Gel Pedi @ $65 ??? Other places: for the same price or less, at least I get cheap wine. Gel pedicure: fair-to-poor. Not much to say except they just don't look good. But leaving tomorrow for anniversary trip and I guess they look a little better than what I did myself. Lastly. Can you PLEASE ask your young male technicians to pull their freaking pants up??!! Wear a belt at work. I don't think I'll be back and I hope others will avoid as well until you make some changes. read more

I haven't been able to find a nail salon in Columbia that really fits what I am looking for until the other day I went to Devine nail spa. The guy did my nails super well and he was extremely patient with me since I can be pretty picky sometimes. I got acrylics and he gave me the exact length that I wanted and my nails honestly have never looked better. On top of amazing service the nail salon alone was gorgeous. It was extremely clean and the place as a whole looked very well kept. I will absolutely be coming back and I highly recommend this place! read more

Not sure if my standards are too high, but I wasn't pleased. Walked in and wasn't greeted. Stood at the empty register confused for an uncomfortable amount of time. When someone finally greeted me, they directed me to a pedicure chair. There I sat for another lengthy amount of time before someone came to turn it on. The person that did my pedicure seemed extremely inexperienced. The technique made me question if they were even licensed. I was glad it was over. When it was, I stood there without direction until finally someone asked if I wanted a manicure. I didn't, but my appointment was for a wax as well. That employee got up, leaving his current client, and saw me to the wax room. It was rude and uncomfortable feeling like he just ditched his current customer. The wax was quick and half ass. At the end, I'm pretty sure I was overcharged, the menu said $7 but my receipt said $12. Wasn't clean, wasn't sanitized, poor customer service. read more

I'm just going to say, I asked them to clean up my cuticles and my nail person said "we don't do that". The color and shape look fine, but my cuticles are crusty and I'm pissed about it. Also just didn't like the customer service (or lack there of). Will never go back. read more

I've been going here for awhile and sometimes it's hit or miss but they usually do a good job or notice and correct it. However, today was the worst nail experience I've ever had. I asked for tips and they said they didn't recommend tips with natural nails and they would shape them. I told them I preferred tips as they usually last longer for me and feel better. They said no and continued to file my nails down. They now look like short nubs. Some of the nails are round and some are square with round edges and some are filed down at a diagonal. None of them match and they are also incredibly short when I asked for them to be longer than the natural nail. Upon leaving, there was so much clear polish and powder under my nails that it took forever to get out. There are atleast 7-9 layers of dip as the tech kept trying to fix his mistakes by continuing to dip over and over. All around this was not a great experience, they didn't take the time to listen to what I was asking for, and delivered a service that was not worth the time or money. read more

I went in to get my gel polish removed last week and my nails are still sore and bruised from the drill he used on my real nail. He didn't soak them before or anything. I figured it must be the softer drill (because who uses a heavy duty acrylic nail type of drill on my real nail) so I didn't stop him. This was my first time coming...and probably my last. I came in for a regular manicure. As a male, I don't need much so I was expecting to be in and out. I was totally mistaking! I came in at 11 am and waited 45 minutes just to be seated at a station. After being seated 15 more passed and no one came to perform the service. I understand It is Valentine's weekend and around noon but I don't think I should have been waiting that long. Outside of leaving after an hour without a manicure, the salon experience was nice. They were fully staffed and the staff seemed to interact well with their clients. I did enjoy seeing that the staff was diverse as well. The salon was very upscale and clean. This salon also offered beverages for clients, which I felt was a nice touch. I would recommend this salon but it would be hard for me to genuinely do so because I did not enjoy my experience today. It would have been nice to have been acknowledged during my wait time to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied. read more

I got a nice pretty blue to match the nails. After that was done, the same older gentleman asked my pedicure stylist if she had 30 minutes to quickly do my design. Crazy. Then he just told me to come back. He looked at the picture and told me it was too complicated and it would take him all day, as if I'm not paying him. So I got frustrated and went with French. As I'm getting my nails done, my morale is down because I'm not getting what I thought I was getting. After expressing I had blue toes and French tip nails, he expressed that it went well together instead of offering a solution. And he stated I wasn't communicating about my French style when I didn't want that in the first place. As I finished up, I told him I wasn't satisfied with my service and only finished because I got started and wasn't communicated with properly. A day before my cruise, and I am very disappointed. Please make sure they explain realistically what they can and can't do before you put your money into their business. Doesn't communicate well. Good for quick, last-minute fixes. Other than that, go to a nail tech or the other salon by Food Lion.

The guy that provided the service for my nails was moving fast. A callus scrub is an extra, which is a bit bizarre to me because I thought that was always a part of a pedicure. I got gel on my toes. I was only shown one color ring and asked if they had additional color options. Another young lady brought me about two more rings, so I chose amongst those options. My nails were not shaped properly, and they were really thick. I'm not one to complain at the nail shop because of the complicated process, so I said to myself, "They were good enough for me to get out of there." They didn't look bad, but they didn't look great. The most disappointing part of the experience was after I left in my slides. I returned home looked down and the gel was peeling up! I was mad. I am not going to lie. I did call and message them on Facebook, and they told me to come back up and speak with the manager, but I never got another opportunity to do so between working and being a mom. Also, shortly after that, my nails started to peel up, so I just let it go, moved on, and returned to a previous place. If it was an emergency, this place would probably be my second or third option. Once again, not terrible but not great, especially for the price.

The guy that provided the service for my nails was moving fast. A callus scrub is an extra, which is a bit bizarre to me because I thought that was always a part of a pedicure. I got gel on my toes. I was only shown one color ring and asked if they had additional color options. Another young lady brought me about two more rings, so I chose amongst those options. My nails were not shaped properly, and they were really thick. I'm not one to complain at the nail shop because of the complicated process, so I said to myself, "They were good enough for me to get out of there." They didn't look bad, but they didn't look great. The most disappointing part of the experience was after I left in my slides. I returned home looked down and the gel was peeling up! I was mad. I am not going to lie. I did call and message them on Facebook, and they told me to come back up and speak with the manager, but I never got another opportunity to do so between working and being a mom. Also, shortly after that, my nails started to peel up, so I just let it go, moved on, and returned to a previous place. If it was an emergency, this place would probably be my second or third option. Once again, not terrible but not great, especially for the price.
